- Relax as I show you an interesting fountain pen made by Dryden Designs that I recently purchased off of Amazon. At the time of this video's posting, I have really been enjoying this fountain pen and plan to report on it again in the future.

This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities. Too much stress is harmful to your well-being and in today’s fast-paced world, stress management is more important than ever, and so I hope this ASMR video acts as a stress reliever for those watching and a sleep-aid for anyone having a difficult time falling asleep.

@@RelaxingASMR Just a years-long fan that has been watching since you were probably below 10K or less subscribers. I've watched a lot of ASMR channels blow up to over a million subscribers in a short amount of time. Their content wasn't very good per se, they just became 'popular' for some odd reason. I think a lot of us take for granted how long it actually takes to make one of these videos, do editing, set up lighting, etc.

My bride just asked me if "Beer and Pens" had posted a new video recently. I answered no with a hint of sadness in my voice. Fifteen minutes later and this beauty magically appears. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you two might have collaborated in an effort to make my Monday night.

Your minecraft video was the first AMSR video i watched. You have never disappointed sir and now i want a fountain pen.
What I enjoy the most about your videos is that there's none of that weird unnecessary tapping and scraping noises people do in other ASMR videos. No stupid costumes, themes or scenarios. Just a quiet old man enjoying his hobbies and sharing stories on occasion. It's just you being you, no gimmicks.
It's like I can't sleep until I hear the words "if you spill fountain pen ink it will ruin your day". It's like, permission to sleep now.
For some reason this video gets me to relax and sleep more easily than anything on TH-cam. I think it’s because you take things real slow and leave long pauses every now and then that let my brain start falling asleep. I would love a video with more long pauses. Although I’m sure there’s lots on your channel that I haven’t seen yet. Thanks ☺️

Genius execution of top quality ASMR.
And I think the second insert is to allow you to use two different colors without having to clean out the pen.
I love how he has the felt to put the bottle of ink on so it doesn't make a banging noise on the table, top quality thought that.

When you said you could 'feel' the pen website's scroll wheel, that's called haptic feedback. It's a really neat technology that does exactly how you described, it helps you feel something that's only happening virtually as if it's physical.

I got the same pen in blue about a year ago and it is indeed a good pen at an affordable price. The green is very pretty too! I use it as a daily writer and it is super reliable.

I have a cheap, slim Parker that came with a similar (OEM) sliding-piston converter. I suspect it's a design intended for narrower or tapering barrels.

You mentioned you were going to be doing alot of writing over the next 3 weeks with this pen, and I was wondering what kind of stuff you were going to write? Do you write short stories or poetry? I've watched quite a few of your videos but can't say I've seen one where you've written anything quite like that! Could be I've just missed it. Anyways I hope all is well with you! I'm not sure. For me personally, the "fine" is just right for technical writing. I have really pen enjoying it.

I always laugh when you tell us to remember to put the cap back on the bottle of ink before doing anything else because I always wonder what actually happened to you when you spilled your bottle of ink back then. Did it get all over your desk and ruin it? I could imagine that it would be a very big mess indeed.
