I don't know if you pay any attention to the comments that people leave but I am going to leave one for you anyway. I am recovering from a very nasty form of cancer and that means sleep is difficult to come by, I always watch your videos before bed so that I can relax and you are one of my favorites, Your voice and the rain falling is magic. However since cancer surgery, relaxing and finding those relaxing tingles so that I can fall asleep is hard. But not with your videos, they are like magic for me even before my cancer and now it is the same like magic which surprises me with all that I am going through. This one too is good because there's a lot of good sounds and especially your magical voice. I am a Wisconsinite to and I'm thinking that you to are from Wisconsin. Thank you again for your videos, You may never fully understand the healing power of your videos. I have to say other than the Lord, your videos are the light in my night time difficultys
@@therooster1374 I used to like Ephemeral Rift in his earlier days, but he went off the deep end. I think he used to be Catholic or something and he pretty much failed at it, so now he just pushes pro-atheist themes in a lot of his ASMR videos, which is kind of odd. People are free to believe what they want...but that's not really the place to do such a thing. He lost a lot of fans when he started doing that, too. Now he makes odd "eating" videos and such. He has changed a lot. I kid you not, one of his ASMR videos is called, "What's in our neighbor's trash?" That's....kind of...odd. A lot of his ASMR videos are pro-satanism themes, as well. Yeahhh...he went off the deep end.
@@user-tb2jy9lu3d I agree. I enjoy his “man videos though. Candy man, nothing man, fast food man, etc. but yes I do agree he went off the deep end a good bit.
I love baseball and sports memorabilia videos . Please do more .. my dad and I did all the collection.. he passed away. Left me his collection… watching you go through this stuff reminds me of him..
Hey R! I remember about 6 years ago you posted a video of your autograph/relic/special cards that are worth some money. If you still have them I really recommend re checking the prices on them to see if they have gone up since the market has been very seller friendly recently!
I love this stuff. Relaxing and nostalgic. Especially appreciate the side stories about players or events in your life involving the player. That cal Ripken story is pretty cool. What a game to be at!
Love the baseball card videos. More please! The ones you did with the more valuable cards kept in drawers was how I initially found your channel a few years ago.
The plastic card holder flipping is one of my favourite triggers. Then a fuzzy cat butt in the bg and some random facts about a subject I don't know (nor really care) about - perfect dozing off material 😍
I love the sound of the crinkling plastic pages as you turn them and talk about them. You should make a video sometime just going through talking about your favorite players among the remaining "toss" cards and just looking at cards without having to worry about which ones you're going to keep. It's very relaxing and you know a lot about many of the players.
Hey relaxingASMR, since you love baseball so much have you ever looked up the baseball games on the radio here on TH-cam. It's so relaxing too. It brings back many good memories for me growing up as a kid at my grandparents home with my grandfather listening to games on the radio. I'm not a baseball fan much but I do enjoy your talking about baseball because my grandfather would talk to me about baseball and would buy me those cards to collect, so I may not be a baseball fan but it's asmr for me. So thank you for these baseball card videos 😇
Great video! I love the baseball videos! For the record, Goose's real name is Rich Gossage. It's worth noting also that he also threw a Slider in the Mid 90s MPH range to go along with that nearly unhittable Fastball.
I love your card videos, watching these takes me back to the 90’s when I was collecting. but I wonder if you pass on certain players in the HOF for a reason. Players like Greg Maddox and Tony Gwynn etc,etc
Needed an afternoon nap today, some rough stuff goin on with some loved ones. This was perfect for a power nap and some rest listening. 🙃 As a kid, Don Mattingly was my favorite. I was the only Yankee fan in a family of Mets fans (my father previously Dodgers). I think we're a underdog family though because after a few years of the Yankees winning the world series I swappx to the Mets. Wasn't happy with the Alex Rodriguez trade, something about giving up your position to be on the team bothered me. But anyway, yeah I agree Mattingly is kinda a tragic character. Played ONLY for the Yankees and in a stretch where they never won the world series. Then they started winning again a few years after he retired. Sad that he wasn't inducted into the hall of fame.
The collectible card market in general has seen a huge resurgence over the past year or two. It would be well worth checking some of these cards to see if they're worth more than you think Edit: all your videos are interesting, I enjoy all of them. Your manner and precision and knowledge are just second to none, and coupled with the relaxation, its the best. Been watching for nearly 9 years now!
You might be right. Oh how I wish some card authority would just publish a definitive list of 90s cards that are keepers. Sure would make this "thinning" project easier. Thank you for your 9 years my friend:)
Of course it is....after I threw away all my old cards from the 80s. I dragged all those cards around for 30 damn years....and now, OOOFFFFF COOUURRSE....they have some value. The story of my life.
It seems you made a similar video like this not too long ago, about cards being “worthless” baseball cards, but the cards are worth something. Putting an entire set like that would be an enormity thing to do today. I bet if you placed that set on a auction site or a marketplace ad, the set would sell.
To let some people know how worthless this set of baseball cards is, both of his binders that he holds them in have more value than all 600+ cards combined lol

In addition to good ASMR, quite possibly the most interesting man in the world.
Well that may be so, but if you’re looking for interesting, check out ephemeral rift 😉

These sports card videos are my favorites by far for falling asleep. Super relaxing sounds and commentary.
Need more of you looking at your diecast cars under the magnifying glass and the 20x magnifier.
Love the baseball cards videos even though I don't know anything about baseball. I also love the catalogs and minecraft.
Imma football and basketball guy
The sound of your voice and the flipping of pages is so relaxing! 🙂
Yes thank you! The card videos are my favorite to fall asleep to! Thank you so much
Your card videos are some of my favorites. I also love the tinkering ones
Good call on the Thome. I had this entire set way back when.
And Ben McDonald O’s. Having flashbacks of when they were competitive.

That's a great point! It helps to keep an eye on such things
It would make a nice follow-up video too. ☺️
Jim Thome...what a legend. One of my favorite players of all time. Thanks for leading off with him!
Need more of this. More sports stories

The word "card" in itself is so comforting and the way you pronounce it eases my mind ❤️

Baseball card vids are always the best!
Love your channel but these baseball card videos are my favorite. Please keep the series going.
This channel is amazing, so many different topics and I just love baseball history so I’m glad there are plenty of videos about that
Glad you like them!
I've followed you for many years and I'm glad you're still at it. Thank you dude 🍻🏴👍🏼
Baseball cards are making a come back! I sold some of mine and got over $1k+
Pretty astonishing really.
Jim Thome was my favorite Cleveland Indian growing up. Him and Albert Belle, Kenny Lofton, Omar Vizquel

This is actually one of my favorite kinds of videos. Love the baseball lore you impart.

Even the cat is mesmerized
The audio quality is perfect
I really enjoy the Chinese ink grinding and symbols vid, and and enjoyed this one too, I think whatever you end up recording is usually interesting
Love the card videos
Yeah I think more videos like this would be great. I think it's better that I know nothing about baseball too.

I very much enjoy these card videos, but I miss your chore videos, where you repaired your lawn equipment or did maintenance on your house
Do you have any more you can deface? :D I love those videos. Thanks for uploading
It's a kitty! 🤩
Sorry, couldn't help myself. Great video, as usual!
No way you missed Big boy Bobby Bonilla at 13:39! He still has 14 years left on that buyout contract
LOL - blew right by Neon Deion......fair enough.

Tony Gwynn, Kirby Puckett, Ken Griffey Jr. That's an outfield.
Uploaded 28 seconds ago?! Count me in! 😴
Nice video
I like this kind of video so I am telling you in the comments.
Is David Weathers kid pitching for the Padres?
Wait I'm a little confused, are you getting rid of most of these cards?
That's the plan, though many folks are telling me the value is coming back to some of these.
Don't forget to go back and get Tony Gwynn.

**pop**
Nice
If you are throwing those out, I would happily pay shipping for you to send them to me
THEY wont be worthless in years to come.

July 23?? That's my birthday 🎂
What state are you from? I cant tell from your accent
I think in a recent video he mentioned he is from Wisconsin
You skipped about half a dozen Hall of Famers rookie cards between Thome and Bo!
Oo 1 minute ago
I don't understand how you skip past Smoltz and Glavine while talk about Thome, who lost one of those series to them.
Or Maddox
Don Mattingly??? Overrated. You past over Frank Thomas just before Don. Big Hurt far superior 1st baseman of this era
