My father had a '65 Impala SS convertible before I was born. I still have an old photo of it. I've always been fond of them. Liked the '68's as well. 🙂
Pilot G2 pens are the best “normal” pens you can buy. As a teacher, they are my prized possession and if my students try to take them they know they’ll be in big trouble 😂
In 1971 EYE picked up a preowned '67 Impala with about 40K miles in mint CON DISH ION for $450 cash. It had a 283 Tonawanda engine and a two - speed, 'Powerglide' transmission that took it from zero to 35 or so in about 5 seconds without flooring it. The RE AR drive is something EYE don't miss especially during winter. Sold it to a guy for $150 a couple years later and he sold it back to me for 25 and EYE got that for scrap a few months later. 4 dr w/ Blue body & a black vinyl top. Put in a cassette stereo system with help from a friend. Some good TIMES in that car.
Your really good at asmr, but since watching your channel I've now got multiple fountain pens, matches, watches and love toy cars. I had a green porsche and a red ferrari toy cars, I told my dad one day I'll own these, I'm still waiting lol, atb Lee
One of my favorite pens is the Uni-Ball 207 Rollerball. I learned about them when Frank Abagnale, the man whom the movie, "Catch Me If You Can" was about, talked about easy ways to secure your own documents against Fraud. His personal recommendation for use of Pen was the Uni-Ball 207 and ONLY the Uni-Ball 207, because it has a special ink that cannot be erased chemically. It's permanent. So I went down to the local Staples, and bought a pack of them. They were at the time only about two dollars per pen, and I bought them in the "Bold" configuration which is 1.0mm line size versus the standard configuration which is 0.7mm. One of the nicest, smoothest writing pens I've ever had. Highly recommended!
the new chevy 632 crate motor is bananas if you havent seen anything about it. 1000 hp naturally aspirated. crazy to think how r&d has come in 50 years.

For the past few years, I have been researching my family tree, and that involves looking at handwritten legal records as early as the 1400s. It has been interesting to see the subtle cursive style changes over time, particularly how written records in America got lazy compared to the consistency of the European handwritten documents. And while some took care to carefully handwrite everything, others had the sloppiest and most illegible handwriting, resulting in descendants like me hundreds of years later totally baffled, unable to benefit from the records. Handwriting is important, even still today. I have been watching and enjoying your content for several years (thank you!) and aside from appreciating your attention to the skill, I can't help but wonder how on earth you are able to consistently print your letters exactly one millimeter above the line. An entire handwritten page of yours looks as though the words float!!! How?? 😁🦉
Indeed Emily, handwriting, and, more importantly, the ability to read handwriting, is important exactly for the reason you find yourself in, which is trying to figure out history. It's sad to me that a huge portion of adults in America cannot read the founding documents of our country. Perhaps more instruction in handwriting in schools and a little less instruction on certain other things could make things better.
That would probably be a 396. The buyer of a new 1965 Impala had a choice of 10 engines ranging from the standard 230-cu.in., 140hp straight-six all the way to the tire-shredding 425hp, 396-cu.in. big-block V-8. After the base 230, you could opt for a 250-cu.in. straight-six, then two optional 283-cu.in.
@@RelaxingASMR probably someone unfamiliar with the year breaks and options actually allowed for those years. The 409 was basically obsolete in 65 with the onset of the rectangle port 396, whose birth was hastened by Nascar requirements at the time

Is it weird that I was about to fall asleep , the volume was on very low so I couldn't hear what u were saying but I was watching the video. Then suddenly the 1950s and 40s era popped into my head along with thoughts of what life would've been like in that era with black and white images of people dressed in that attire from that time appeared in my mind for no reason and right then the words 'Mid 1940s actually' appeared on the screen which shocked me so I turned the volume up and listened to ur commentary and was shocked to hear that u were talking about the 1950s yourself. Is this crazy or what. Would you call it intuition or am I psychic . This isn't the first time it has happened to me either. Damn.

That's what I thought too but one viewer says the license plate said 409 on it. Also, the valve covers looked like 409 covers.
