- The Jiki Jiki no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit which allows the user to create magnetic forces and use them to control metal. It was eaten by Eustass Kid. The Jiki Jiki no Mi enables the user to generate magnetic fields that can either attract or repel metallic objects to and from their body as they please. This makes them particularly effective against the majority of weapons in the world: namely swords, guns, and cannons. By using repulsion, the user can deflect metal projectiles back to where they came from, turning them against the aggressor.
Using attraction, the user can strip opponents of their weapons and bring them to their own body, rendering said opponents helpless. The user can also use attraction to pull themselves to large metal objects like ships, allowing them to travel through the air in a manner resembling flight. In general, the creatable magnetic forces are extremely strong and very difficult, if not impossible, to resist; by wrapping a metallic arm around Big Mom and repelling it, Kid was instantly able to send her flying up in the air, a noteworthy feat considering Big Mom's massive size and weight.

People underestimate magnetism. If you have played with very strong magnets when young, you know how sharp and abrupt the magnetic pull is when acting upon other magnet or a magnetic object. This is in contrast to gravitational pull which is more subtle and consistent. There is a reason why electromagnetism is used in crane - to lift between 10 and 60 tonnes of object. Awakened kid assigned magnetism to Big mom and pinned down a freaking Yonko.

One of Kid's attacks, Punk Vise, works exactly like that.
At first glance, it just looks like two giant fists crushing the enemy in the middle. But thinking about it like this, Kid is actually producing a "sharp and abrupt magnetic pull" to slam the two giant fists together. Like when you push two small magnets to each other and they suddenly snap together.
Kid is my favorite character he’s basically magneto.

I’m not sure if any magnet powered characters have done this in any series but it might be a cool idea to collect a bunch of iron shavings or ferrofluid (which is basically like a liquid that has a bunch of iron shavings in it a think. And there’s also a clay version).
So you can just control that cloud of shavings/liquid/clay and have a lot more fluidity with it, making shapes or whatever. Like how shiki made lion heads out of snow.
Yooo that'd be hella cool ngl. It's crazy how no magnetic nor electromagnetic based characters have done this. The closest thing to that is Misaka Mikoto with her Iron Sand ability

He tried to go head on at shanks alone without any real support. Even Luffy didn’t really beat Kaido. He had to fight him while he was attacked multiple times before the fights, Csrrying a whole island and etc. that’s why. Kid isn’t weak, he just thought a little TOO much of himself.
