If you are having trouble getting the paw stamps like me, you can do this: Take with you 2 gathering palicos that can use pilfer. Then go to the felyne nest in the video, kill the melynx (cause it's annoying and killing it aggros the wild felynes, as well as your buddies) Don't attack the wild felynes, instead, go to your dpad menu and activate "use felvine". That essentially makes your buddies go crazy, they will start to gather a lot, but most importantly, they will begin to spam their support actions. Then, just wait until one or both of your buddies use pilfer on the cats, stealing three items. If the buddies stop to aggro, just poke a wild felyne. Since the paw stamp is the only item from the cats that doesn't disappear after the quest, you are guaranteed to get three paw stamps per pilfer. Edit: this no longer reliably works; I tried again bc of the sunbreak expansion and the buddies do not seem to use pilfer. I still got 1-2 stamps each time, so this method might still be quicker than the conventional cat-genocide.
thanks a lot, use your strat and collect them in no time. But also worth mentioning that you gotta be patience with your palico as sometimes it takes time for them to use pilfer
For those unlucky ones that only have crit boost 1 talisman, you can do this build instead: Utsushi mask (h) S Utsusgi chest (h) S Tigrex braces S Tobi-Kadachi coil S Golden Hakama S It gives: Crit boost 3, Razor sharp 3, Mind’s eye 3, Bludgeoner 3. Just set 3 speed sharpening decos Have fun!

"Do you like fireworks?" yes "Do you like critical hits?" yes "Do you like to channel your inner cat?" YES Thank you for this vid gaijin! I've been wondering how to make them even since I saw you talking about them on Twitter
I love that you're putting forward weapons and builds that are not "meta" focused but fun sets that are still efficient without looking to squeeze the most damage possible. I've got enough knowledge of the game to be able to put out the "meta" sets everyone will be running around in, but I've got a much harder time finding fun sets that are actually what I'm looking for in MH. So again, thank you so much for this, definitely adding it to the list of things to craft, can't wait to have fun with these claws. (wich I would definitely have overlooked without this video)
@@GetterRay Some people enjoy that aspect of theory craft. Fortunately for me the game doesn't ask you to go to those heights because it's not for me but I definitely get that planning sets out and discovering new ways to augment your output can be fun.
@@skeith804 There is theory crafting, then there is trying to do time attack builds in practice and failing. Not using Partbreaker so you spend an extra 5 min trying to cut Almudron's tail. @@GetterRay this is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Run with a group with dps builds and you finish hunts literally 5 to 10 min faster. Defense skills do not have the upside that damage one's do. Also anyone with a brain can evade attacks.
I don't play dual blades, But Dang, It looks like a lot of damage, How does this build compared to The Max damaging meta sets......or is this going to be come the meta lol
Another fun off game weapon I'm enjoying is the felyne cannon heavy bowgun. Thing fires cluster shots like missiles. Its an amazing anti-rampage weapon as you can fire off a lvl 3 cluster bomb without the annoying aiming process during a counter signal to almost one shot some monsters into fleeing. And since you can hold extra materials for crafting, you can just carpet bomb monsters.
I definitely understand your comment on the visual effects. Not sure if it's just my eyes getting bad as I'm getting older but I have noticed I'm having a difficult time distinguishing my character's action during multiplayer hunts. The visual effects are so flashy for each weapon's attacks and usually when four players are attacking a monster, the effects overtake the screen in a manner where the character's outline doesn't appear since it only appears when there's a monster between the character and the camera. I tried turning off the effects too but this only resulted in turning down the blood effects and had no changes on the weapon "hits". I even had some multiplayer hunts where we were pummeling a down monster and I had to step away to get a sense of direction, location, and situational awareness on my character just because the effects were so overwhelming and I simply couldn't see. Excellent game overall, but I wouldn't mind if they provided an additional option to tune down the visual effects.
I knew where to find them. But there was no way I was going to get them. They're not like older games where they're merciless, thieving bastards. They're so chill. I don't even like fighting in the first Shrine area due to the possibility of smacking a kitty on accident.

People do stop, it's just that a lot of people use silkbind attacks or bowguns that do continuos damage which wakes the monster. So when you notice someone accidentally doing that, you might as well keep attacking anyways.
That’s why you don’t play multiplayer with all the spam bots. I swear hunters got worse this installment. It’s just silkbind spamming and brainless attacking.
I've always stopped attacking as soon as I notice the monster is going to sleep, but sometimes I'll have delayed sticking ammo on (Sticky/Slicing) and I won't react fast enough that the delayed explosion wakes them up. In my defense, I run Sticky 3 and that's at least a sleep headshot.
@@Trlll Just as with World, there's just a lot more new players starting out in the game. Nevermind that, how are you meant to use silkbinds if not to "spam" them at the right time for tons of damage? That's why we used bombs, y'know. For tons of damage, but now people have silkbinds to do that with as well. When I discovered Hellion Mode like a week ago, I decided then that would be how I got to the end of the game. I made the weapons then set about choosing the armor to utilize it. Went with Razor Sharp and Minds Eye with a side of Bludgeoning, then later discovered Handicraft lvl2 on the Sinister gloves which gave me more white sharpness. That was a game changer as I was doing loads of damage already, and now I was doing even more with the white sharpness. I really enjoyed using the Raging Claws and will continue to use them when I want to channel my inner cat again. For now, I've switched to Insect Glaive as my other favorite, but I'll be back to playing Raging Claws when the weapon trees get some more improvements. Happy Hunting Meow!
if they do, they'll probably tone down the damage by like, 20/30 below other endgame weapons, and keep it from ever reaching purple if master/G rank has purple.

@gijinhunter I've just seen some responses to your "don't capture everything" vídeo. I have to say I agree with you completely. Capturing isn't the default way to hunt and I've always seen it as an emergency/quicker way of finishing the quest. Also, if its the only way to acquire materials then it has to be done. The problem is, from what I've noticed, the series has been introduced to the playstation and xbox community that don't know the original games. I've been playing for years since the wii. I've been to Japan twice and bought the next 2 games in the series after that. The community during those games was different (both in the west and Japan) I played online there too. You're advice was sound.

you really are the best mentor ever, say hi to yuna too, happy hunting
The person below you has the same pfp lol
Yes! I want this so badly! I had the faux Felyne head on for all of MH World, dual blades are my current favorite, these sound perfect!
You mean purrfect.... I'll see myself out
@@nanashix4889 You may stay. Catclaws as weapons demands you sound more like palico.
Legitimately, the Palamute Gunlance might be my favourite weapon in the history of the series.
I'm currently using it and it's great!
not only is it cool looking, but it has natural white sharpness, and high level long shots!
You mean the Canyne Cannon?
@@CaptainCFalcon yes
I’m not new monster hunter but I finally started paying more attention to stats etc... I saw that I could make it and heard it was good before but what makes it so good?
Yay now my character can cosplay Nenechi.
nenechi is kuma
we gonna need bear's ears
Gaijin Hunter: First time I got lucky while recording
Me: *laughs for five minutes*
I love them. They remind me of the Decimation Claws from World... just much smaller.
I just tried the dual blades yesterday (after playing the village quests with a Switch Axe) and I just love the aerial mode. Thanks for sharing this set, I will probably try to do it.
All your videos are pure gold man. Two days ago I made your HH set and now I need this :D
Really enjoying these fun set videos man! been running your healing horn set for a while now
Ok, i just fell in love with the first set you shown. It's the type of set i used to do in GenU and just looking at the skills made me jump from bed and started making it. Thanks!
Love that you hide spoilers! Sharing this video with my fiancee, it's her first MH and she chose dual blades. She has lots of questions on what DB she should make but I only speak hammer. I appreciate this video
I'm really glad you showed a set without protective polish first cuz the moment I hear I need that skill for a build I close video immediately
This is nuts!! Man!!! I don’t know how you come up with these builds but, THEY ARE FREAKING AWESOME!!!
that rampage skill is just the perfect thing to try and make a Set around.
I was looking at these last night wondering if they'd actually be useful. Lo and behold psychic Gaijin Hunter answers the call
Bruh the person above you has the same pfp
Long time sub here, and I'm really excited about any guides or any content you post about this game and I'll always watch it!
Great video. I appreciate the fact you went out of your way to show how you made the weapon.
If they add Teostra with his Master's Touch skill this will be the ultimate weapon.
this is added to the devs' nerf list now. XD
if they do, they'll probably tone down the damage by like, 20/30 below other endgame weapons, and keep it from ever reaching purple if master/G rank has purple.
ive been running almost this exact build for a few days now and honestly i cant find any other dual blades that out damage these things. This build really is OP, its got me doing sub 7 minute magnamalos which i cant even do using my bow lol
Thank you so much, I love this weapon and was going to start playing with builds but this is a great place to start
I was literally thinking of getting the claws cus design wise they look cool. This video just seals the deal for me thank you so much
Just made a build revolving around this DB yesterday, really fun to use!
might have to main back into DB
for jewels i'd prob go with an affinity boosting one so Para procs more
Thanks for the info Gaijin. The Origami Switchaxe has a unique Rampage Skill that cares for when your weapon morphs, perfect for Rapid Morph builds.
MHR is my first MH game, and I love dual blades. Thank you for this. I'm not big on experimenting but I hope you'll forgive me for copying your build.
Gaijin, I f**king love you man. I've been trying to look evvvvveeerrryyyywhere to figure out how to get those dual blades. I've been waiting for someone to post a vid on them. I can always count on the mh God himself!
I love your spontaneous laugh, it's so genuine! Nice build btw!
Makes me miss Nergigante’s dual blades, also the Dango blades are amazing! Second upgrade gives you 190 attack without Attack Boost, and it has the sleep element!
"Just hold down the minus button to open map"
YOU WHAT
I'M 80 HOURS IN
You can also change this behavior in options, so that short-press minus opens the map, and long-press opens the chat.
@@Ruricu Oh nice, I didn't know that. I never use the chat menu anyway.
i told that to my friend who was also 80 hours in and it blew his mind lmao
man these rampage skills are really coming out of nowhere. like, i'm doing my research and at first all these weapons are basically subpar, then they have wild rampage skills like this and its just like "oh... well damn."
God I love this game, I love this channel, and I love all of y'all.
LOL... "first time i got lucky on camera" -- you answered a bunch of questions i had since this is the first MH game I've come back to in a long time. LOL
Others: Eating double sharpness sucks
Me: I've already been using Chainsaw in Iceborne, I got used to it
in the lava caverns in the map or mini map there will be a red volcano and a blue volcano if you launch a monster from wyvern ride into the red volcano or the blue volcano then you will deal 900- 2000 damage and red volcano also deals fireblight and blue volcano also deals waterblight
PLEASE READ THIS AND POST A VIDEO ABOUT IT
Idk how many people will see this but just know that this is helpful information and i thank you for it.
your welcome
I just started playing the game, it is my first Monster Hunter and I´m loving it. This is going to be my first build, I think its amazing. :D Thanks a lot, and happy gaming.
I wanted to thank you for everything on Monster Hunter I got my dual blade for the white is that I got my card thanks to your video I will really support you for all the help you've done for me thank you
Nothing better to start my monday off before heading to work with gaijin’s vid. Thanks buddy and happy hunting. Cant wait for a vlog hunt with your daughter
Helian mode users in a nutshell: FOR THE GRACE AND THE MIGHT OF OUR LORD! FOR THE HOME OF THE HOLY! I REJECT YOUR WAY OF THE SWORD! AND EMBRACE THE KITTY!
Found my warcry, now off to find pieces for the weapon.
So glad to see your having a good time with rise. I remember your vid I miss classic MH kinda bummed me out because I totally understand we're u were coming from.
I chose the DB as main weapon for this MH so... THANK YOU! Amazing build!
I've been planning how I'm gonna build around these ever since I saw Hellion mode. Did not know about the handicraft bonus though. My man Gaijin, you are my hero.
Thanks Gaijin, I have been looking for a reason to run DB's and this has peaked my interest.
I like how they look pretty good with the Rajang pants, anyway.
A tip for those going after the Pawprint stamps, bring gathering cats capable of Plundering items. I brought 2 with me on my farm and 6 of my collective stamps actually came from them.
I just finished my paralysis IG set up last night, now i think i will be switching to your build Gaijin! thanks for making awesome MH content!!!! 💪💪💪💪
It's nice to see you bad at it with these videos! Hoping to see more in the Future! Have a blessed day!
I watch this 50% for the content and 50% just to watch a guy having fun ralking about a game he likes
Ok I was thinking about db for my secondary and you just saved me the time. That looks so fun and cat claws to boot.
*Sasegayo intensifies*
I was just theory crafting with this. I'm so glad you uploaded this!
to get pawprint stamp easily, bring 2 gathering palicos, and it will almost guarantee you a pawprint stamp when you complete the quest.
Awesome video, my wife is going to love this build!
Nice set! I’m gonna build this and hope for layered/transmogrified weapons in a DLC because I’m into the crits but not the aesthetics.
Even without that build or weapon the dual blades are too much fun. They’re making it hard to be a hunting horn main! Too much fun with both.
Great set my dude I tried it out and it worked amazing which lead me to experimenting with it more and using different equipment than the ones u have and got even greater results but there's still room to improve and evolve great video keep it up 😁👍
Hah was trying to make these just because I’m a DB fanatic but I hadn’t realized they were such a gem xD good find!
yesss. I've been farming in the last week just to make this build. Glad to see Gaijin also approves. :)
Cant wait to try this out!! Awesome build!
i had thought about this weapons earlier today so i farmed it and made a custom set for it, only to see your video released a few hours later
Nice one! You beat me to this but we're using different builds. Inspiration as always with your guides and videos!
I had a hunt yesterday with a LS, DB, and HH. All I could see was sparkles on my screen, I got flinched to death and my switch dropped to 15fps. Awesome!
