@@coltony6078 Oh apologies! My Weapon/Wirebug Reticle(Hold) button is set to Middle Mouse Button so I just hold that and then you can wirebug using CTRL in any direction you point!
Diehard aerial DB main here. The video covered just about every you need to know, but I thought I'd give some more specific advice on how I made this style work for every monster. *Air combos:* The combos for aerial dual blades are a bit more limited but they aren't non-existent. If you're in demon mode and quick on your button presses, you can do both the normal air attack and the heavenly blade dance without using tower vault. And if you're really fast, you can use demon flight, activate demon mode midair, do the normal midair air attack, and then barely have just enough height to do the heavenly blade dance all without touching the ground. The timing is is pretty strict for these combos, but the added dps is definitely worth it. *Demon Flight:* If you're feeling extra ballsy, you can ignore a monster's strongest attack with this move which not only does damage, but the monster be locked into a huge punish window while you're free to do whatever you want. The timing for this is incredibly precise, but I've seen some players go through Diablos' charges, Rajang slams, and even Magnamalo's dive bomb. You are truly invincible to do whatever you want for those few seconds. *Tower Vault:* This is what makes aerial dual blades work. If you have 3 wirebugs, you can infinitely loop the normal air attack into tower vault to literally never touch the ground. (Glaive mains be crying right now) Also tower vault itself is 100% d when used in the air, so if you ever get caught while airborne, this is your get out of jail free card. *Shorter Monsters:* Due to shorter monsters not taking as much damage from heavenly blade dance, I found it to be much more optimal to only do the normal air attack and then continue with a grounded combo. Luckily, demon flight can also be cancelled into an attack early. That way you stay closer to the ground and don't wiff on some of the hits. (Do use heavenly blade dance on Rajang if you want to hit its tail) *Repositioning:* Because this style has to sacrifise the amazing repositioning option that was demon flurry rush, the heavenly blade dance and midair spinning blade dance have to do double duty. At the end of heavenly blade dance, you can hold a direction and it'll influence where you land. Using this to change your landing spot can be the difference between a safe landing and being in the middle of monster's next attack. For the archdemon version, it has 360° control right at the beginning of the move. Great for if you did an accidental demon flight be need to quickly get away. In my experience, I've found aerial dual blades to be a surprisingly safe option for most hunts. Grounded or airborne, you have access to plenty of s and since the wirebug regenerates quickly, it's always there for when you need to wirefall. It's hard to keep up dps wise, but if done right, I found it to be decently quick at getting the job done while also looking unbelievably flashy.
Finally! Someone who actually puts M&K control schemes into their tutorial videos. Been such a trial and error experience learning new weapons with only gamepad controls ever given.
forgot to list ctrl key in the hotkeys section so I was confused for a second, but this is super helpful and easily the best/most comprehensive guide on dual blades
Keep'em coming :) I'm waiting for the GS and LS ones but I'm interested in each keybinds for every melee weapon and if ever you can make a general one for blademasters. No need for Gunners as there's a lot of keybinds going around for that. I do feel the same with regards to the camera auto-focus, I feel that using my mouse to focus is more natural.
I think after finishing every LBG build I would try Dual Blade as my first melee weapons in rise because I am not familiar with controller and dual blade control on mouse and keyboard are okay and manageable than others melees.
do you happen to have a video or anything of all your keybinds as was thinking of changing them to these but not sure what to swap the existing buttons too, just started the game :)
Any weapon that has something called demon mode, I'm all about. I love having stamina surge, constitution, and evade extender on my DB build. I'm on that monster like a fly on food. Chug my dash juice, and now I'm the boss.
I'm not really a gunner hunter. I'll take a look this afternoon and see if I can suggest anything for you! I would suggest you check out Phemeto! He's really into the gunning and probably has a keybind setup? Although I heard its really wack for gunners. Hopefully he has something >

As a new player who got into monster hunter just a couple of weeks ago and lives aeroal db, I greatly appreciate this added info.
