If you have Limb-mode/boost problem/P1556 code in your this era VAG TDI and can´t solve it with the help of this or many other videos and forums in internet (as I did not after days and days of searching and doing several procedures to my car/turbo with no help) I have one more option for You: See on that tube this guy is fixing, the valve on that tubes other end, where it separates to vacuum for power steering (thicker tube) and turbo etc. (thinner tube). In my case the problem was that valve being stuck/clogged. Took it of and cleaned with air and crc. After driving months with limb-mode it´s nice to finally have BOOST again!
I have replaced all the vacuum lines. N75. Mask airflow sensor. Still after driving over 3000 RPM I can feel it goes into limp mode. Not sure what it is. Maybe you can help me. It started after I replace a head gasket new water pump timing belt. All that stuff. Could it be oxygen sensor?
My mk4 1.9 tdi has a problem its all fine till 4th gear around 120km/h and then it just cuts off the power like it has no turbo its literally dead and top speed is around 130km/h w that problem but i dont know whats the problem, is it turbo or turbo actuator or what i really dont know🫨🧐

i have a 2007 VW Touareg 3000cc TDI engine so i have replaced tonnes of things in my engine, got rid of the runners(tropicalising) but the limp mode just wount go away. when in limp mode and you shut and start the engine the vehicle acts okay(powerful) for a short distance untill you come to slow moving or completely stagnant traffic then it goes back to limp mode. and i when diagnosing the vehicle has no faults! what could be the issue? my local mechanics cant seem to find the problem
My 2003 Jetta GLS has been in limp mode for months, mechanic is saying it’s the solenoid pack. But that’s expensive to fix, is there anything else I can do to fix it or I HAVE to replace to solenoids ?
My seat Ibiza 1.4tdi also gets into limp mode when on a heavy load or a long drive. Mechanics also recommended to replace solenoid pack. Do you guys know any other fix? (After a while like stopping a car and waiting the limp mode disappears and car works perfectly.)

Thank u verry much actually my hole nipple that the hose clamps on wiggles in the body of the vacuum pump, thinking of making a mold with some duct tape and pour some bison epoxy metal(kind of like JB Weld but i can't find the stuff here) and put a clamp to the hose, my power comes and goes as it pleases also my brake pedal is sometimes really stiff
Had loss of power on my golf 2000 with 1.9 agr 90hp. Though maybe the wastegate actuator was stuck because it seemed like it didn't move when reving it, but it was completely fine. All vacuum lines look good. Will be trying MAF and MAP sensor next
Shit might be my issue i recently replaced my brake vac with a genetic pipe and i can here it hissing and iv lost boost i didnt think boost brake lines ran to the brake vac! Getting ready to take the turbo off up on the ramps and and shield off! No codes ether so fingers crossed saves me money and freezing getting soaked in this fantastic british weather!

I had the same issue previosly after replacing 1H0 906 627A everything is going smooth right now.
Was that the fule pump in the thank you replaced?
Several of the vacuum lines in my ALH engine were deteriorated, so I replaced all the lines with silicon lines.

No, excess smoke is probably a boost leak. Smoke occurs when the engine over fuels, and fuel is controlled based on the mass air flow sensor.
Check and clean EGR or blank him completely
