Hello my friend thank god some one who don’t waffle on explaining it properly I’m about to do mine my self after being let down by someone who said they will do it.I’m doing mine on top of paving slabs could you tell me do I have to use adhesive all over or just the edges it’s quite an average size garden I’m doing I’ve heard so many people say you need to screw it all around the edges every 3m do I need to do this and also Where I have been let down my grass has been rolled out ready and cut but because we have a bit of a down pour I’ve rolled it back up and covered with plastic sheeting a few times dodging the rain will this do my grass harm rolling and unrolling I’ve no choice because I’ve been let down and dodging the rain trying to keep it dry sorry it’s bit of a story but I can’t get a straight answer from anyone else great video thanks Russ
I’m also about to do mine the installation myself after being let down by many landscapers who said they will do it or would never fix a date... seems like a common tendency with landscape designers despite the fact they charge so much in thousands
Professional video with some wrong information. Some of these methods were preferable about 10 years ago but things have moved on now. You shouldn’t use sand as the top layer or a wooden boarder. As for folding the edges over......just don’t!
I’ve tried asking so called professionals who do this for a job asking them would they be interested all you get is a load of crap it’s not their preferred standard of grass they work with ( turf king of Bristol ) it’s because I didn’t buy it from them that’s why and there’s another from abbots Leigh won’t do it either but he sent me an email with the grass they use my grass wasn’t exactly cheap £1800 all I wanted was a bit of advice and if they were interested fitting it instead I smell bull shit

Great video. If I wanted to use a soft underlay do I need to glue down the underlay first ?? Then glue the grass on top

I would not use sand for a base sand tends to move after aperiod of time
Sharp sand when compacted rarely moves.
I do this for a job and this is made to look like hard work it's effortless really
