- This video will give you a full detailed breakdown of how to prevent lifting of your vinyl wrap. It will also show you what to look for before failure occurs. The material is called Dragon Fruit which is a replicated color of the iconic Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Jota. You can pick this film or other films up from Tinybot's website here .tinybotvinyl.com/
Learning how to vinyl wrap doesn't get more detailed than this, unless you're on my website www.ckwraps.com/ which is always offering a "first month free" subscription.

Isn't tinybot a fairly low quality film!? I understand having the skills to make any material be installed properly, different techniques required for polymeric/calendered, but what's your take on it? Just for looks or what's the pros here
Excellent question would love to hear his answer!
Polymeric films generally don't last as long as cast films, but the same is to be said when comparing cast to TPU. That being said, I've seen cast films by reputable brands break down and fade in short periods of time, the same with polymeric. I've even seen TPU break down in just a few years when that's supposed to be good for about 10 years. Here's a scale of average longevity.
Polymeric: 2 to 5 years.
Cast: 3 to 5+ years.
TPU: 10+ years
There are customer vehicles I've wrapped over 5 years ago in Vvivid which is a polymeric, and their wraps are still in good shape. With the new color change PPF on the market, there is no point in spending or wasting money on a cast film in my opinion. I'd rather go with a polymeric to save money if you plan to change the wrap more frequently, or go with a cosmetic PPF (TPU) of you're looking for something more durable to stand the test of time.
I believe cast films will eventually become obsolete since their prices are comparable to TPU but they don't offer anywhere close to the same benefits as TPU.
@@CKWraps thanks for the reply. This makes some sense, but boy the big cast wrappers must be seething
Should def do more tiny bot videos or the cheaper films showing your techniques im sure theres lots of viewers that would benifit from seeing you in action with these calendar films
I'm back after a few years as my car needs a re-wrap. This channel gave me the tips, tricks and the confidence to wrap my own vehicle. I am really grateful to Christian for being so thorough in explaining how its done
Love watching your work in wrapping. 💯
Perfect, preventing what will happen know that’s signature work❤
CK did it again-Great vid and tips and teaching! There’s no one like you on TH-cam CK. Keep up the vids and always look forward to them- props bro 👏
You are a fantastic instructor. I really appreciate your time and effort for teaching.
always enjoy a new video from the Master, following your teaching I wrapped the inside of my BMW dash and door trim, is all black leather and I wrapped with Vvivids Ultra Gloss Candy Red Interior Vinyl, looks so good and I have got many compliments on it so Thank you.
A great video, Christian. I especially love the colour
Can't wait to september 10-11-12 for our training. Hotel already booked.🤙
Looking forward to meeting you both!
Awesome installation. Are you still providing the hands on training. I am in NY and very interested,
I do a ton of in person training. There are a few spots left for the currently posted workshops. Check the description for the link to my training website www.vinylwraptraining.com
Love the tips! I’d like to see how you would do your edges with a polymeric film where you cannot get behind the edge. (Fenders and such) did my e30 with TinyBot gloss peach pink a few months ago and I need to fix some things that are bothering me lol
Another informative video, thank you for your content. I have a question regarding Polymeric vs say 3M 2080, in terms of durability, longevity and usage. I am installing vinyl wrap on an aeroplane with a lot of raised rivets. The installer has recommended 3M but the colour, Soul Red Crystal from Tinybot is the exact red I am looking for. But will sacrifice the colour if the vinyl from Tinybot is not usable for my application. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
Some people, especially non smokers( TBI patients- brain injury) are very sensitive to some chemical vapors, may i ask you how bad is or are there any smells when heating wraps ? not just this particular wrap, but all wrap brands/material. I would appreciate the answer. Thank you
What was the name of the alcohol that you get?
Is there anything you can buy to make spots that are lifting tack back down if the vinyl is no longer sticky enough to adhere??
I watch him do it and it looks easy. I do it and it’s a disaster that results in wasted wrap in the trash can and me saving up for an actual paint job.
have you ever wrap a C8 corvette sir?
I just had someone's vivid carbon wrap start to fade. After 3 years. Didn't lift tho
