CK, Thanks for introducing this product. I did the roof of my RAM 1500 crew cab yesterday (to practice for a much larger job) as a wet apply yesterday with the Colorfusion Metallic Black. The ridges in the roof made the application a challenge but I managed to fight this stuff in place. The upside is the PPF looks like paint when dry. The downside is Cutting/Trimming. I was using the VIVVID knife and had to switch to using a medical scalpel with a #11 blade. Even with the scalpel (which I've use every day since 2010 so I'm very familiar) trimming was a challenge. At the end of my 5 hour battle my lesson learned was that I should have started on a panel that had a flat surface instead of multiple ridges. Overall I give the finished product a 10 and my skill level a 5. I need to get better at cutting this stuff. Next up I need VIVVID to fill my 60' order of the Metallic Blue so I can get my boat finished.
That's an amazing job!! The material looks super wet and clean!! Love it!!! Question, have you ever wrapped an F-Type R? What are your thoughts on a beginner taking on that effort?
We use the plastic edge because it adds more pressure so that the slip solution can be thoroughly removed from under the film. Using a buffer side will inevitably leave too much slip solution behind. Just make sure to keep the surface wet when using the hard edge.
The person running the camera really knows where to aim that lens. It makes it a lot easier to follow your instruction.
Appreciate the feedback. I made sure to let him know about your positive comment! We have a lot more on the way.
I second that!!! Well done!!!

Are you using carbon steel blades in your knife?

Are you talking about the jaguar f-type?
I know this of ppf, so it'll hide scratches, is that why you used the plastic part of the squeegee to get everything started?

Which brand is the film?
