How to Install a BMW F30 Carbon Fiber Hood (Seibon Hood From Pro Auto Motion)

Today, we're going to show you how to install a Seibon Carbon Fiber hood on your BMW F30. It's a very easy DIY project, but I highly recommend getting an extra set of hands to help out.
Whenever you're installing a carbon hood, it's always highly recommended that you use hood pins. Stay tuned for that video :)

Glad you chose the M3 style hood which looks awesome. I'm sure photos don't really do it justice. I'd be curious to see a carbon fiber hood on a car that is already black like mine which is Sapphire Black Metallic.Please keep the awesome videos coming, Bryan!

How has this hood helped with under hood temps? And have any long term differences (good or bad) come up?

My car recently had an oil and brakefluidchange, but my guy could not update the maintenance history book. Do you have any idea how to do that? Rgds, René

Is it a good idea to put the hood sound detening on the seibon hood or does seibon not make the holes for it on there hood
Have a similar hood that i installed a few years ago. All of a sudden my driver side won't latch. Any suggestions?

Is the procedure the same for an F13 6 series? There’s almost no aftermarket support for my car, this is as close as I could find and I figured F chassis is relatively similar

What if it rains? Will it hurt the engine if water gets through the vents?

Did you keep your hood struts on?
Isn't the original hood already like aluminum or plastic? or are they still steel on the 3-series?
But even so, the original does look better because the front has too little carbon fiber.

I did what you did and when I open the latch once I think it unhooks one side but the other won’t and it won’t let me pull a second time. HELP!
Push the hood down to relock it and try again

I always felt like a black hood on the f30 looks odd because the hood doesn’t extend below the kidney grills.. instead you have this odd looking straight line towards the front

Not sure about carbon hood on blue car would be nice on black car, i had carbon hoods back in the day on my supra they look good on ricer cars.

The Hood makes the car look like 600hp car or more haha
It would look much nicer if you had the hood painted. Sorry to say but that cf hood looks rice on that car. Plus the paint will show the lines of the hood better.
