  • How can we perform well every day while avoiding burnout?
Many of us experience times when we're performing well, but these moments are often elusive and short-lived. For every good day, we may have a hundred unsatisfying ones. The good news is there are practical things we can do to consistently make our days better.
At this special event, bestselling author Daniel Goleman will share how emotional intelligence can help us have a great day, any day. He'll explain how you can find your optimal state and have a realistic goal of feeling satisfied that you've had a productive day.
In his groundbreaking #1 bestseller Emotional Intelligence, Dan revolutionized how we think about intelligence. His new book 'Optimal' is the culmination of decades of scientific discoveries and practical experience.
By taking part in this event, you'll discover how you can use your inner resources to perform better and experience more satisfaction, while also avoiding burnout.
This conversation with Dr Mark Williamson was recorded at an Action for Happiness live event on 6th March 2024 actionforhappiness.org

I find that I have been helped by these talks. Yes, I find it useful to build my inner responds so that I do not let the speed of my reaction to what is outside of my control. It is pur expectation’s that catch us. So thoughts of allowing others to be who they are, I cannot change them but it becomes the opportunity to view my mechanical response, When anger arises in my self ot anothe r it is so beneficial to do the breathing..it is the space between the noted that creates the music, so hearing the music from putting this into practice makes a reality so one will bring the breathing more frequently into our lives. Thank you. I also see that when the going is rough to try to put in a feeling of gratitude in that space for these are also the times to fine tune ability to let go.
