Whoever you are who can't sleep tonight, is tired or sad, believe that there will be tomorrow that will light up your beautiful days.
You just need to endure a little more, a little more, and a little more ...
Thank you for being patient, thank you for being able to survive. And as you read this, promise yourself that you will be able to get through your toughest days in the future.
Promise to keep smiling, no matter how you are ...
You deserve to be happy :)

And No matter what we do, the ultimate goal of humanity is being happy. The questions is what should be the real reason for happiness? Wealth or welbeing?

Great talk. It was wonderful seeing in the QA session, people caring about other species, not just humans.

I start out with skepticism of Dan Goleman because of many things he asserted about the value of concentration, he said here. In the course of his talk he relates a conversation with a business leader, the CEO of Unilever Corporation, who announced as Mr. Goleman was listening, that his company was planning on doing something worthwhile for the unfortunate people in the world put to use the vast resources of the Unilever Corporation. He didn't say that they had helped hurting people rather that they will do so. I have heard this kind of seeking after congratulation so many times. It is "respect me for what I will do". However, this CEO wanted his audience to be impressed for what he promised to do, not what he had done and this is typical of powerful leaders. I would rather hear, for a difference, about a powerful company that has done something for the less fortunate, instead of telling me what he promises to do. If he did this then I might respect Mr. Goleman and the Unilever CEO a lot more.

With the increasing amount of talks about the care for all beings on all levels; I would like to suggest the interested ones check out the principles of Ahimsa followed by Jains, the coexistence of all beings with the least harm caused to any. The most organic methods of living followed by the adherents and it's profound impact.

It's unfortunate that the words of Dalai Lama do not resonate with you, Daniel Goleman, when speaking about your President - Donald Trump. How petty and bitter your remarks about him, and you cannot bring yourself to give another, more appropriate example to illustrate your point.
Practice what you preach. Or at last try the "Belly Buddy" technique to attenuate your poor perceptions of our President for you sound like a child when you bring him up in that context.

tinseldoll: In all fairness, this is a talk about mindfulness and implementing it into everyday life. Do you really think that The Donald is a good example of a person being mindfully aware of what he's causing in terms of societal consequences?
