Many thanks, all the way from Australia. I got the grey retaining clip off but if you don’t push down on top of the plug, the little bugger don’t slide off. It had me stumped , thanks for taking the time to share your experience.

lol you still kind of did it wrong. Although that does work. You only have to move it back just enough so that you can press down on the black part. Just slide it out till it stops and then use your thumb to push down on the black piece.

You don't have to remove the gray clip. Just snap it back like you did then squeeze the black middle tab and slide it out
