Why should he have let it go when this guy was still screwing people over?? He is a professional con man. OP may have gotten some over the top revenge, but at the same time he was helping other people not get screwed over, mainly the girlfriend! He could have ruined her financially for life! Screw that guy.

Story 3: OP is a hero for getting that POS. Without OP, it's likely that that criminal would have continued his crime spree, and caused damage to God knows how many other people. Good on OP for taking him down. Too many people are willing to just roll over, so it's a rare treat to know that there's some people around with a shiny backbone and a willingness to do a major public service for their community in getting someone like that off the street and into prison. Well done!

The guy had stolen credit cards and a skimmer, so he was actively stealing from innocent people. He also had a fake badge, so he was likely pulling people over and possibly telling the people he pulled over that in exchange for a payoff, he’d “forget about the ticket.” Just think what could have happened if he pulled over a lone woman that he could sexually assaulted. OP should be commended for his part in taking a possibly dangerous man off streets.

As far as I'm concerned he should be commended for putting a con artist/predator behind bars, well his response is was not the healthiest for him on a personal level it is a normal human behavior that is good for the overall health of our communities in many cases. @@teacherbecca526 as stated by information released by whistleblowers (so take this with salt if you'd like), the majority of "diversity training" is not filled with items such as "Just because these people don't look like you, does not mean they are that different from you," or "you should not judge people based off the color of their skin, their ethnicity, or their gender." Instead it is filled with more racially dividing ideas such as, "White people have done nothing positive in this world and must be treated unfairly as to bring true equality to the world (as a hyperbolic extreme)" and the now infamous "BE LESS WHITE."
It does nothing to actually address racial/religious/gender prejudices and discrimination, but shifts all blame onto "Whiteness" (which you don't actually need to be white to have according to these trainings). Now imagine a predominantly Cis, Straight, Male environment (which is an issue these trainings allegedly don't even try to address, instead allegedly claiming there needs to be quotas needed to artificially expand outside these metrics) being told nothing useful, but rather that all the world's problems are caused by nobody other than them, that they are nothing, that they are riding off the backs of not their hard work, but racism, sexism, theft and slavery, and imagine how much less likely they would be to be less discriminatory?
It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy of hatred and malcontent which calling out gets one labeled a bad person and shunned by society because "Well, we are ANTIracist so if you are against us you MUST be racist!"
But yeah, this is just info we've recieved from whistleblowers, the AntiRacism Movement, and the history of Critical Race Theory so take it with however much salt you'd like.

Considering Chad didn’t change his ways, OP is a hero. The only concerning part was that there’s no mention of him doing his own research to see if he was still the same guy he always was. He just let his anger took over. That’s a dangerous habit to pick up, so I hope OP is doing better mentally.

OP had to get his name & reputation back in the last story. It's not just about seeking revenge for just himself but for his family & for those who are unaware of this guy's true nature. OP went about everything the right way within the limits of the law. Jurisprudence takes time. Yet it is a sweet victory to enjoy. I'm very proud of the example he set. He's a husband & father. I was taught to always to do the right thing, do the work & there are no shortcuts in life. I'm sure OP is teaching his children something pretty similar. 🥰🥰🥰

I think the third poster absolutely needed to get "Chad" off the streets. If the poster would have simply let things go, that might mean that Chad would have simply gotten away with all of those charges. Regardless how long the revenge took or how "obsessive" the poster seemed, I think it was well worth putting a criminal behind bars. Crime doesn't pay, and a lot of a time, if a criminal is simply left to his own devices, especially the kind of person Chad is, he would have simply gone on to screw more and more people over and think himself untouchable. Would someone really say that it would have been best to just let a criminal be?

  • @nancybode6159

OP did the right thing. Who knows what kind of harm Chad could have done to other people, especially the ones whose ID he'd stolen. He could have ruined their credit history permanently, and things like this can cause depression and anxiety in the victims, and in extreme cases can lead to suicide. In jail is the best place for Chad.

For the last story: if OP was rolling his company profits in to the business, which Chad was then making dissappear at the point where the co-ownership was dissolved he was entitled to that still. He could have legally done so much more in regards to his ownership rights. Also you can not fire a co-owner, there is a ton of paperwork involved to separate the ownership and buyouts would have to take place.
As for all the illegal booking Chad was doing, OP could have sent Canada Revenue (our IRS) after him.
Added note: any time you mess with peoples pay, staff have a ton of rights and most areas have groups in place to nail Chad to the wall on the staffs behalf at no cost to them.
We have a lot of laws in place to protect workers, their rights and their paychecks, if you know to use them. Chad could have been in jail for decades doing back to back sentences. OP definitely didn't go to far.

  • @festro1000

Nah, OP did good work keeping it up. I mean after all that time after OP being locked out of a business he co founded Chad was still still doing illegal shit; had OP decided enough was enough and called it quits he would still be out there to financially ruin people's credit with the ATM skimmers they found in the girlfriends truck, and honestly I cringe to think how far a person who has no qualms with slandering a "friend", arson, multiple types of fraud and theft, and utter disregard for driving laws. The way I see it OP ensured Chad will not be menacing society for years to come.
