  • Join me as I fly this beautiful Cirrus SR22T from Santa Fe, NM (KSAF) to San Antonio, TX (5C1). Yes, you can do it IFR, but on a fair weather day, it's not only an enchanted countryside - but VFR made easy!

History of the Cirrus SR Series
The Cirrus SR series is a single-engine four / five seat composite aircraft built from 1999 -
Present by Cirrus Aircraft. The initial launch of the Cirrus SR20 a few years prior, gave way to the more powerful 310 horsepower iteration, the SR22 (and ultimately the SR22T).
The SR22 series has been the world's best-selling GA airplane every year since 2003. With over 9,000 units delivered worldwide, Cirrus is the best-selling aircraft of the 21st century! The Cirrus SR22 is equipped with a whole-plane emergency recovery parachute system: the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), largely contributing to its market success (and in my case, spousal approval).

Nice video, enjoyed seeing a good Cirrus flight and hearing your conversions. I think you might have mixed up going back and forth on the gallons/pound /hr conversion. (started with 300 gals/hr and finished saying 300 lbs/hr). Maybe I got mixed up hearing it. Safe flying!!

Lot of clearing going on north west of Boerne stage. All for new homes or hangars? And thanks for posting!

A local! Have we met, Buck? Thanks for checking out my video. Unfortunately, the ACCD may've sold out to a track home neighborhood. Bob Bruce would know! Hopefully, the new neighbors love airplanes...
