Thanks, Paul, for the informative C100 Audo tutorial. I was surprised and at the same time happy that there is still interest in the C100, because the C100 has now been on the market for more than 8 years. The reason for this is certainly that this camera doesn't really age, it is still a perfect tool for professional filmmaking, I love this camera. It doesn't have a fashionable 4k sticker, but it does have a 4k-capable sensor that delivers excellent highres images. Your tutorial was just the right time to refresh my knowledge because I want to connect my new wireless mic and find out about the different connection options which the C100 has. (I have the Mark II version) Thanks again.
Perfect. Thank you. I was mostly searching around TH-cam to find if anybody had a product that could replace the tiny wheels on the audio handle. I like the audio going straight to the camera, but the tiny wheels are so small and the slightest turn can make a big difference, especially if you need to make an adjustment during a recording. I will try the eraser technique next time. Also, can you do a video on how to correctly use the limiter feature. My last interview I had to set the input volume low because he would often raise his voice and I would see my meters going into the red. Overall, what happened was I ended up recording low and had to bump up my volume all the way up on the computer while editing. Thank you for the tutorial. I was hoping there would be a separate controller that could still allow audio to be baked into the video without the tiny wheels being used. I am new at this, but constantly learning. Thank you I will subscribe.
Thanks. Does the audio record in a separate track or is it part of the video? Does it split into 4GB chunks? I'm still not sure if I want to buy this camera
HI Paul, I notice I seem to get a lot of hum from my c100 when I use the preamps, I have tried many different mics. I have tried both the XLR inputs and the little plug, I have only new gear. do you have any thoughts on this?
Your videos are very usefull, well made and easy to understand, dont understand why you dont get more views.
