Your an outstanding mother❣️ Our daughter begged me to Home Educate in the UK 🇬🇧 because of bullying. State Education failed to teach her to read, write and spell. I used Art, Music and Dyslexic Thinking (Dyslexic Thinking is promoted by Linkedin Business as a valuable SKILL) to help her spell the words she could not read. Melody is now in University. And passed her English exam, this is rare for a Dyslexic. Melody also passed her Music Theory exam with a distinction. Many famous Pop musicians play by ear, which is a skill, but they cannot read music. Our daughter does not smoke/vape, neither does she take dangerous drugs, and she did not date until she was old enough to do so (19 years old). She is loyal to her boyfriend and hopes to marry him once her career takes off. Melody is self-motivated and not scared to ask questions. She feels at ease around teachers. When our daughter was in College she was awarded Best Student of the year. And Best Artist and Designer. She also won a UK Art Competition and the competition in College. I was so badly bullied for Home Educating. But my daughter and I proved all the doubters wrong! As a family my daughter, father and I have a strong bond. One that we would not have had if she was State Educated! Good luck to all Homeschool families. ❤️ I support you. 😊❤️🇬🇧
“Let’s get it done.” Such a fabulous motto. We just started our homeschool journey 4 days ago 😂, thank you for some perspective from the other end of things! 😊
Such an amazing mentor, motivator, and mom. I was a recipient of Natalie's years of experience as a homeschooler myself. I don't think I could have made it in those early years without a network of support like Natalie and her entire family. We love and appreciate the Mack's dearly!
Yes ma'am, homeschooling can allow you to nurture your children's growth much better than sending them to public. Even a little of both wouldn't hurt but homeschooling has major advantages for over homeschooling. Time is something we can't get back and they grow up so fast. We need to give our babies every best opportunity to learn as much as they can and show them they can choose their own path in learning a with some things and where they want to go.
Hi Natalie, I'm searching for true stories of parents choosing homeschooling since I have to write an essay about the pros and cons of homeschooling for my university. I'm glad that I found your speech. Thank you for sharing a story that helps me to have a glimpse of what it is like to homeschool your children. It was very inspiring to me!
That would be awesome. Let's get it done! Homeschool is amazing. What I got from this video is it makes your children know their path and follow their dreams
Great talk! You should be proud of yourself. I was a primary teacher, and I would agree you can do this. You just need to be curious to learn alongside your children, to follow your instincts in helping them find what interests them. You do not need to be a “teacher”. Just help them learn! ❤
My daughter has social issues and she suffers in public school, she’s afraid to ask questions when she doesn’t know something and she gets overwhelmed with the work they give her and the way they teach.. I never thought I would try this but it’s working for us
I would give anything to get my 8 yr old son out of school. Hes so unhappy. I see the absolute dread every morning. 8 hrs a day 5 days a week. I can not take it anymore. How can a single mom that is 100% responsible for financially providing make this happen?
@kellydimuzio1785 unfortunately no. Not anyone that would be the same as him attending school. I need to work remote. That is the goal, but it's hard to find. Corporate America has us adults stuck too. I am constantly trying to make it happen. I'm looking online everyday. My ex husband is making a salary to where I wouldn't have to work, but he's psychologically very abusive & it took me years to get away from him so I can't go back. Trying to have positive thoughts and tell myself it will happen to attract the right opportunity. Somewhat of a manifestation. I have never wanted anything more as I feel I would be saving him in a way & you know that moms will do anything to protect their child. Thank you for asking.
@@robinnobles5785 this too shall pass ♥ I am sorry to hear about your relationship. It's good you got out and can focus on a better life for yourself and son. You're absolutely right we mama's will do anything for our babies. 🙏 prayers.
@@robinnobles5785I hope you’re getting child support if you’re the primary caregiver it’s his responsibility to provide financial to make up for his lack of presence in his life. The child deserves it.
Maybe there are other single parents in your community who want to share homeschooling days. There are loads of local homeschooling groups on social media. Also maybe switch schools in the meantime?? Is that an option? Get a roommate? I know these are all difficult changes to consider but many people who homeschool are sacrificing careers and cars and homes to do so. Our children's happiness / true well-being is paramount. I hope maybe there is an out-of-the-box solution that comes to you, that makes this possible for you and your son. That being said I also hope you're not torturing yourself with guilt! Your little person can get through public school okay as well, if that's the only path available. ❤
@@RenNathaliaSo happy to hear this! I was just in Freeport and was encouraging a Bahamian to homeschool! Do you have speakers who come to encourage and teach on homeschooling?
awesome that your daughter wanted to learn Russian. My daughter has been learning Russian for a couple years. Completely her idea. I also wasn't sure about it because the different letters. I'm no good at it, but she does pretty good learning online.
Home education is slightly different to home schooling. Parts of Europe restrict it or ban, uk allows it but a register is coming or has arrived… dark times
