    Love this band, the dress, the swing of the saffron. The old tunes are always the best tunes.

    Well played, the stop at the end was absolutely excellent. Just try to tidy up the sync of the piping, as it was slightly off when you were marching in.

    Well played Lads.... even I prefer to call the last tune its origin.... Raglan Road :-)

    • @snugent0113
      @snugent0113 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Raglan road was first performed to that tune in 1971. The original tune, the dawning of the day, was written in 1847

      @@AngusOnkel The original air was titled, as Gaeilge, Fáinne geal an lae.......literally, the bright ring of day. Patrick Kavanagh wrote the poem Raglan Road and someone-don't know who-set it to the air of Fáinne geal an lae. A definitive version of the song was created by the late Luke Kelly of The Dubliners. If you haven't heard it, it's well worth a listen. Slán agus beannacht. .

    A actual yank band who wear the correct Irish dress. Saffron kilt and caubeens.
    Unlike the plastics in NYC St Patrick's Day parading around in full Scottish tartan/highland dress. Clueless 🤣

      @@smck001 Its cloose enough to an irish leine which is what it would look like with just the lower half a kilt.
