Clever! Nicely done. Kind of regret not getting a half rack/smith all in one, I think with my diy skills though, i'd be better off just selling my half rack and getting an all in one
Yeah, but was a small problem. I just lift the rear foot of the bench over the back brace when it was on it's original stand. Since I dropped it in the power rack it's not an issue at all as the rear support on an ATX 80mm rack is another 6inches back.
Probably. An ATX 800 series rack is 127cm inside width. The REP is listed as 129cm outside width. The Smith sits dead centre of the footings in my ATX so it should fit.
I love, love, love how u use the strap to move the frame! Where there is a will there's a way
Awesome set up you’ve got there. I’m glad I’m not the only one that has to negotiate over floor space with my very patient wife! 🇬🇧💪🏼

Genius!!! Wow this looks amazing!!
This is outstanding!
For those of us with both pieces of equipment, and looking to open up a footprint so we can buy more stuff.
Absolutely 😂
Sick!
I have a rack from ATX aswell (650, 6x6cm uprights). I wonder if I could do the same!
this is a dream
Good job , with a little help from your furry friends .
Looks a little like my force USA all in one multi trainer .
the hex bolt on my barbell is too tight and I couldn't assemble it with my smith machine. Any tips on how to loosen super tight hex bolt?
WD40 spray first and then insert the Hex key and tap with a hammer
Do you reckon you could do pin squats on the safety's of this Smith machine?
Absolutely
@Home Gym Hypertrophy thank you 😊
The only issue with this smith machine is the the back support bar would hinder the bench going back enough for incline benches?

@@danielhewitt8 I would buy one but I have a iron master bench which wouldn't allow it
What type of rack is this?

What is the knurl like on the smith machine bar?
I would call it slightly aggressive. Not rip your hands up aggressive but I'd happily go for a Max deadlift without worrying about lack of knurl
could this fit on a rep fitness rack 3x3 ?
Probably. A rep rack is about the same width.
Will this fit a Rep PR5000 rack?
Probably. An ATX 800 series rack is 127cm inside width. The REP is listed as 129cm outside width. The Smith sits dead centre of the footings in my ATX so it should fit.
What's the name of the Smith machine? Sorry I can't understand
Better yet, if you have a link to the product. Thanks!

@@danielhewitt8tyvm!
which rack do you have?
Origonal was an ATX 800 series squat stand and I add the 800 series rack extension to add plate storage on the back
