I’m interested in buying this machine but can’t find any detailed reviews. Does it glide smoothly? Is the counter balance recommended to get the smooth experience of smith a machine in the gym?
@liveyjr .. Don't get the Be-11 smith machine, get either the Bodycraft Jones Freedom OR the Star Trac Max Rack 3D Smith Machine because these two smith machine has both a horizontal and vertical component as the barbell goes up and down, allowing you to move pretty much exactly like you would be doing free weights. Run a youtube search for both machines and see them in action --- way better.
I have it. I love it. It's smooth, sturdy & nice looking. It fits in my garage (not too big, or too small). I don't have the counter balance, but plan to get (just want options), I want to see how it feels with it. They say it makes the bar itself lighter & can float. However, it works with or w/o the CB. The only thing I just realized is when I tried to do a deadlift, the bar wasn't able to go low enough to allow the correct range of motion (I would have to stand on a stepper to give myself some distance from the floor in order to get the correct range of motion for deadlift. Other then that, it's great! 👌🏾 But, it was the best price for good quality that I've seen.
@@JWB671 honestly! The IM2000 is on a different level from any Smith machine I've ever used, plus the fact you can add free weights to it and it has the high and low pulley and the build quality is second to none.

I like it. I think its fine. I wouldn't get counter balance. Bar without it is about weight of regular free bar.

On one side my cable has come off the pulley how to fix this
I use the smit machine for high reps low weight hack squats. Bad idea to overload.

Really?... the iron master runs on plastic sleeves and this has linear bearings plus a counterweight.

I tryed this machine and it is not good at all. I didn't like it!
