    For the love of God I wish people would STOP moving here. I live on Pleasant hill in Kissimmee and there are literally TWO ROADS - THREE if you know the path out of the suburbs and into the main city. It is horrible we DO NOT need more people. Please, it is adding to the horrible traffic which you WILL BE STUCK in for A MINIMUM of 2-3 hours everyday you live here. DO NOT COME. I see a car accident daily, sometimes 2 a day this is not an exaggeration. Just a few months ago there was a deadly head-on collision on Pleasant Hill and it shut down and backed up traffic in the entire city until literally 10 pm. For the record I am trying to get the fuck out of here because I've been here for 10 years now and it is worse every single year. Don't get stuck.

    It depends on where you live in Kissimmee. We lived off of Pleasant Hill...or Unpleasant Hill as my husband calls it 😂. Horrible traffic. Would not recommend. It took over an hour to drive 16 miles 1 way,because of all the stop lights and there are exactly 0 other roads being built to alleviate the traffic.Yet,plenty of new housing is going in now-making traffic worse. Closer to downtown/the area where Ken is..is very charming. But unless you want to be in a car over 2 hours a day.. stay away from Pleasant Hill/Poinciana area.

    I see you've got this area hyped up.... But if you really want the low down ask someone like me how this area has lost all the greatness it once had. Yes 9 zip codes, and the distance from Poinciana 34758 to BVL 34744 is a huge driving difference. Try getting home from my job 34746 to 33896, 45 minutes for a 10-minute trip, it's awful at night! Way too much building, way too crowded, way overpriced, and it would do anyone moving here a great justice to speak Spanish...almost as a first language, and English as a secondary. I miss the old Kissimmee/St Cloud, my heart breaks for this area that I've been in since 1988.

    Nice video! Yes there are positive things but it's already too crowded how everyone has stated. I live in 34758 area. TRAFFIC is one thing but also income (work) is another huge factor. If you don't come with a career or your own company forget about it. 90% of Jobs only pay $12-14 an hour. How do you expect to pay a rent of $2k and up with that? Also the commute to work alone is easily 1hr +

    I don’t think I need to leave a full comment after seeing what other locals are saying as someone who’s been here for the last 10 years. All a sudden in the last 5 years there’s been a massive increase in population and construction. And not enough roads to support it all. Got in a accident just a few days ago. And food service sucks as most quick food places have a bunch of low life’s who don’t care how nasty they make your food. Kissimmee is definitely a 1 star place to move. Florida its over populated and it's getting worse and worse I lived 20 years in fl and it's becoming 1 of the worse states in US if not the worse! Trust me this is a misleading video then this guy says Kissimmee, st cloud. But those 2 cities and orlando are the worse areas and downtown Kissimmee is not 30 mins away man, that was like 12 years ago b4 the massive migration that's been taking place in fl the last ten years specially the last 4 , now it's around 50 mins to an hour maybe more depending how bad is the traffic, and that's the key the traffic... roads are getting overwhelmed with the amount of cars going in and out, another thing to worry about big time is schools.....schools are overwhelmed, over populated and if a person happends to have kids with disabilities forget about it, I could be here hours explaining diferent reasons how it's so bad,
    all I can say is you' ve been worn,
    the difference between this coment and this video of this guy is he look like he's a realtor and that's the problem.... because he has not been honest.....he's just selling, it is prudent to realize that there's a reason why all this massive over population it's happening in fl specially the cities he just mentioned!
    Why?
    Because now there are thousands and thousands of realtors in fl probably millions of them, and what do realtor do? Same as sales mans in car dealers ect.... Sell!!! Sell! Sell! Sell!! At all cost no matter what, why, or how, sell if is the last thing you do like crazy, it is as simple as that and as sad as that is, and dont even get me started with the healthcare system and hospitals they're like fast food restaurants trust me, I love fl so much and it breaks my heart because it USED to be such a CALMED GREAT PLACE... NOW IT'S A NIGHTMARE TO LIVE AT, if you ignore this message and end up falling for that trap and you go there,
    you are gonna notice within a month of been there and you will always remember this message....that one person that wrote this coment.....or better said THIS WARNING was right and I should of listen to the warning before falling in into this trap, rem when things are too good to be true specially in the middle of a crisis like wera all living.... means something must be going on...... have a great day everyone

  • @MyBackyardScience

    It seems like a great location. We will definitely consider any areas that have low crime, reasonable housing costs, no short-term rentals. Good schools are not critical since our kids are grown, but that always helps keep the home growing as well. Of course, proximity to Disney is important.🙂

    • @toibarreto8296

      Kissimmee as a whole does not prohibit short term rentals. Do your homework on the Home Owners Assn covenants before you choose. Short term rentals are a nuisance and they also can bring property values down. I love being in Kissimmee!

    • @Skyjuice70
      @Skyjuice70 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I live here in Kissimmee since 2007. It's a decent city BUT you really have to do your homework if you're looking for low-crime areas. Start with the local police departments. They will give you the statistics. If you're looking for an HOA-type place to live in, you're better off with a 24hr gated community and the stricter they are, the better. Some of the rules may be annoying but you'll appreciate later that it helps to keep the community safe and clean from vandalism. Also, there is a ton and I mean a TON of traffic now. They have to constantly widen the main streets because of the flux of people moving here. If your budget is a bit flexible, look into Lake Nona. It's a bit more expensive but far safer and newer plus traffic is a non-issue.😉

Min wage I think is like 8hr. 300k is not cheap! I guess if your from California or somewhere but then your wages are not going to be the same. An accounting clerk in Denver Colorado would make 17-18 entry level but typically 20-25hr.

    I left kissimmee and moved to Tampa, Kissimmee became overcrowded, growth isn’t necessarily bad but the roads can’t support the influx of new comers. There are barely any jobs in Kissimmee so expect to drive through heavy traffic to make it to Orlando. And the home prices are outrageous , I got a much better bang for my buck in Tampa (my home cost me 289k) beautiful 2 story home and a I have a beach 5 minutes away. But sometimes I do miss Kissimmee , I am hispanic and I miss the culture there it was vibrant and fun. Sometimes I do miss the food and energy , but i much rather the beach.
