- Star Wars Outlaws did not get off to the best launch yet. Aside from issues with the gameplay and bugs, now an email from Ubisoft or Massive Entertainment has instructed players on PS5 to start an entirely new game with a brand new save in order to prevent “issues and progression blockers.”

I'm really hoping Ubisoft steps up with Outlaws because the current state of the game at launch seems underwhelming and full of issues. But then again, it's been a year since Jedi Survivor launched, and it’s still plagued with bugs and poor optimization, with Respawn seemingly lost on how to fix it. Let's hope Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment don't make the same mistakes and figure things out. Just because a game comes out as a buggy and unfinished mess at launch, doesn't mean it has to stay that way - looking at you Cyberpunk 2077!

I used to watch you in the Battlefront days when people could submit clips. I am glad you are still contributing to a better star wars gaming experience. I like your more critical view on outlaws which other star wars youtubers lack cause this is what we need if we want the best star wars experience in games.

How did Ubisoft, with so many games under their belt, fuck up a starwars game. Hugest mistake not making it a create your own character. We should’ve had the choice to be a Jedi or mandalorian and all that mess. But nah we get stuck with space pirate simulator
I just got hit with this. Well, I haven't played the game since the day before yesterday but as soon as I started it it gave me no other option than to start a new game. And this is, what, six days after it's release day. Never in my over 25 years of gaming have I been this dissapointed in a game that I bought. Maybe I was just lucky until now.
Gosh I miss when this channel thrived during the release and lifespan of EA's Star Wars Battlefront 2. Over 100k views each vid but as interest in Star Wars dropped off a cliff over the years, as well as the greater dark times occurring, so did interest in this channel also fall. I am proud to have been here watching since the first few news videos prior to Battlefront 2's release. I'll stick around as long as I still have hope. Besides fan-works, hope is all we have left...
Yeah after the canceled support for Battlefront 2 there were only a few star wars singleplayer games but those couldn't keep a community alive like Battlefront did. Truly a very special time period with all the engagement from devs, youtubers and the community
I'm so glad I just subscribed to Ubisoft plus and I didn't pay $130 for a broken game. Realizing this game is not the greatest only paying $17 I don't feel like I've been robbed
That's actually a pretty smart idea. Especially if you beat the game in one month.
This is why I no longer preorder any games, I've wasted money on so called AAA games that have been terrible at launch.
Yeah I learned my lesson after preordering Jedi Survivor. A year later and that game is still an unoptimized stuttering mess on PC.

I was watching this video, and thinking that so much of what you're listing seems so far from my experience with the game. Until about 2 minutes in, you mention some of the problems you're discussing only applies to PS5. I'm not saying that makes it okay, but it sounds like you're saying Ubisoft is telling ALL players to delete their save files.
No, I specifically say in the video that Ubisoft is only making PS5 delete their saves. The game breaking bugs/progression blockers are somehow only exclusive to the PS5 version for some reason. However, all the other smaller annoying bugs are on all versions of the game.
kill me, I got the early access, pretty happy with the game, game launched today, got the update, my save data, GONE. I am very displeased :(

This is why you need to be VERY selective when pre ordering.
Got the early release . 7 hrs into playing and I’m having to restart because of a bug that they patched. Disappointed in this . Good game so far overall but they promised way more than we got .
Just please let ubisoft go bankrupt triple A needs to learn a lesson. This game sucks.

Maybe. Or you picked up the standard edition with some of the bugs fixed and no need to restart your save file. Makes a world of difference, how you liking the stealth missions in the game?

just ran into a progression blocker i think. went into hyperspace and won’t come out. can someone confirm?

Same except my ship breaks with no control so I can't "punch it" into hyperspace.. this is after starting again with the new patch.. I don't think i can stand doing it a third time...
