My take : Marsiling > Woodlands South > Yishun > Yishun Mall > Seletar Airport > Jln Kayu > Fernvale > Hougang 1/Buangkok Green > Hougang > Defu > Bedok North > Bedok > Siglap > Long island > Katong Park > Stadium > Kallang
Personally I would like the line to start from Woodlands CIQ, int Wdl Nth, follow your proposal to Gerald Dr, AMK Industrial Pk, Serangoon Gardens, int Hougang, int Defu, int Tai Seng, Upper Aljunied, skip Aljunied, Sims Ave, Geylang, int Stadium (optional), Marina Blvd, int Downtown, int Tanjong Pagar, int Cantonment and then Bukit Merah Central. Though Blue Ribbon probably has very different ideas 😂😂
@@zbkvolgrenThey don’t have a choice, they have to start offloading from CCL, DTL, and NEL 😂😂 They can’t just add CDS after CDS and think the problem is going to go away 😂😂
you watch my circle line video it's for the Dhoby Ghaut - Prince Edward Road trains to turnaround meaning DBG - PYL - SRG - BSH - BNV - HBF - PER (go one round)
Personal opinion, but I think it should serve Jalan Kayu, Fernvale (interchange with SKLRT), Kampong Buangkok, Serangoon North (interchange with CRL), Kovan (interchange with NEL), Lorong Ah Soo, Kim Chuan, Ubi (interchange with DTL), Eunos (interchange with EWL), Marine Parade (interchange with TEL), with future provisions to Long Island. This should help to alleviate demand along the CCL between Serangoon and Paya Lebar as well as bus services plying the Hougang Avenue 3, Eunos Link corridor. Will also help to provide connections to many interchanges, especially since the East side of Singapore has a lack of connections that seamlessly connect the DTL with the EWL and TEL in 1 MRT line.
first paragraph i agree completely second paragraph for me i would cut thru kaki bukit and bedok instead, using your alignment but i can see why you'd want it to pass thru eunos and still rd (i think i did cover it in the video)
I quite like the idea of sending the Seletar Line through Bedok from the north as it could provide more orbital connections in the east. I would suggest that the line could stop at Tanah Merah as it might allow passengers to transfer to the Changi Airport Branch to get to the airport. However, if the line were to continue to the future “Long Island”, where would the line terminate?
Why not extend the cross island extension line to woodlands north from Punggol? Will stop at seletar airport yishun ave 8 admiralty road west senoko etc? Better as it will connect changi airport terminal 5 to seletar airport and to woodlands north RTS to Johor. And rename it to North east coastal line instead of cross island extension line.

Ahh got it
So basically instead of PLAB just swing the thing westwards in attempt to offload NEL 😂

@@zbkvolgren NEL, DTL, and CCL are overcrowded due to poor planning, now need new line to tank the excess demand. Can easily take out 10-15 CDS.
That makes us wonder what will the vacant station platforms at Prince Edward Station be used for.

@@glenn84 Just the CCL, not another line.

Inside long island 😂
Then Holland line would cut through long island as well conceptually
Currently takes over 1h 15min from NE to East coast/Bedok, so the ERL is certainly helpful, thought it doesn't help the NEL overcrowding at all.
Allow Seletar Line to serve Chencharu and Yishun of course.
In my latest video I've mentioned why yishun khatib chencharu isn't a priority
Cos bus svcs 801 804 806 alr exist
CRLe Extension to Yishun when
