I tried out the Amazon Influencer program for 6 full months to see if the "shocking results" promised by online income gurus were true.
After 6 months I have my Amazon Influencer income results and some thoughts about this program and if it is worth it.

Ha, I wish I had but no! I do make between $1,200 - $2,000 every month now which is great for a secondary income stream, but it wasn’t instant and it is actually a decent amount of work. I’m surprised so many people are pretending it’s passive and you’ll instantly earn so much.
Your honesty is so appreciated. The time and effort spent on good quality video production (on a constant basis) with the unpredictability/no guarantee of (any) income is definitely something to take a close, hard look at.

Honestly you learn the most from your own trial and error! I’m working on a course because some people enjoy having step by step in one place and I can share contact information for paid collabs, but the best way to learn is always taking action.

Thanks for sharing! I have been on the program for about 6 months. This is the worse month yet on earnings. I have close to 200 videos. Top monthly has been $450 ish I keep thinking add more will result in more income. I do not feel like I am gaining any traction

Thank you - you are probably that is pretty honest . Where do you go to see how much money you made for your reviews only ? Not what I sold on my store front.
They don't give you super detailed analytics. All you can see if "off-site" vs "on-site" commissions.
Have you noticed any trends in what type of product reviews do better for you? Clothes, kids products, household etc….
For me it’s super random! Some people specialize but I’ve had success in all the categories you mentioned. I will say that while clothes sell really well hey also have waaaay more returns than any other category.

You can do the same products. I would do it in English.
How many videos do you have total?
Are you having to buy the products you review?
You either need to own them or be in a position to film them from someone that does. You shouldn’t film stuff off shelves in stores.

I was expecting to earn a lot more. 🤦🏽♀️ Maybe associates will be better since i won't hace to record videos
Honestly it’s been flooded by new influencers in the last two years so commissions are lower for people. More videos means they cycle thru videos more so you get knocked off and lose commissions.
How many videos did you upload for this 6 month period?
She only did 209 videos 😂 o dod around 260 my first month
Yes a bit over 200. Which was great for the results I achieved. If you want to churn out a ton of videos you can.

You only have 200 vidoes I made 263 videos my first month it took 6 months to make 200 videos wow 😂

This is a side hustle for me I didn’t spend a ton of time on it or try to make 200 videos in a month.
