Started my journey on Nov 3 when I was accepted. I agree, do not make crap videos. Quality over quantity. And like you I get lazy sometimes and know I should be making more videos than I am. I am following along. - Shawn
After 3+ years as an Amazon affiliate, i just joined the influencer program tonight. (Never a huge amount, but gas money. The creator rewards have been a nice boost.) Anyway, thanks for the straight talk and real world numbers. 👍 I don’t do Facebook but I’ve seen some of these myths in other videos.
Could you answer this question? I have a TikTok account that’s 60 days old with 40 videos where I am showing my face. One of the videos is even up to 50k views with hundreds of likes and hundreds of comments (70 comments of which is me interacting with other viewers). I’m still not getting approved to join the program. Any ideas why?
@@natedevita7002 it’s completely random. Some people have gotten denied with 5k followers, and some have gotten approved with 200 followers. Amazon doesn’t do a good job of having a set standard of who they approve
Well I have been doing 30 videos a day in the last 5 days or so. But I listened to the video and you said quality is more important. We’ll see what kind of results I get
Yeah 30 videos a day sounds impossible. Quality would have to be very low to rush through videos like that. Amazon wants videos that provide value to help the consumer make a purchase, so those are the videos they will push over time
The Influencer sign-up is asking to select a social media account. It asks me to sign in through Facebook, but it only gives me the option to select my personal Facebook account. How do I select or put in the link to my Professional Business Facebook account page? Thank you! Your booklet is helpful!
@@deniseflynn1050 hmm, it’s been a while since I signed up. From what I remember you’ll be creating an Amazon account first if you don’t already have one, and then when applying for the influencer program it should ask for the URL to whatever social media you’re wanting to use, so you would go online to Facebook and copy the URL of the business page. Hard for me to answer without seeing what you’re seeing
@@deniseflynn1050 yeah im thinkin you may be at a different step in the sign up process, because they don’t allow personal Facebook profiles as the the submitted social account, only business pages on Facebook.
Crazy question! I was approved for the Influencer program (YAY!) BUT I used a new Amazon account to apply. (long story) That being said, I have NO previous (or current for that matter) purchased products. Can I still review the products I have that I bought from my OTHER Amazon account and review them on this new account? If so, can i use those videos to apply to Onsite commission program? What should I do??!?! Thanks!
@@joshandkristy you can do videos for ANY product that can be found on Amazon. When and where you bought the product means absolutely nothing. Also, you’re creating videos about the product, not actually going in and giving it a review, just to be clear.
@@agentalexcampThanks for the reply! Does this still qualify for Onsite videos? (The review videos on Amazon itself?) I was thinking if I did a review I don’t purchase on my Influencer account, it wouldn’t register as a “verified purchase” and that would be a bad thing? Or am I over thinking this whole thing? 😅 Which is very comment for me..😂 Thanks again!
@@joshandkristyreviews you’re not supposed to be doing any reviews. You’re making videos for onsite. When you make a video for onsite, you will be tagging whatever product is in the video. There’s no record of what you have or haven’t purchased
Great content! New sub here. I just got into the influencer program. Made a few bucks so far. Just curious what products are you reviewing or what are your best converting videos? Thanks!
Thanks! At the end of the day, just focus on making quality videos. The products you should focus on are whatever ones are coming up for a certain season/holiday. For example, right now you wouldn’t be making videos about warm coats and Christmas lights, because nobody is buying those right now. On the flip side, outdoor products would be great to post right now.
In how many days you got approved. I have applied in feb 2024 still not approved 3 videos are published still blue lock is not open. They're not denying or approving. Any solution?
@@ifindbest4u I was approved in about 3 business days. Your videos can be published but not approved. Sounds like they were denied at some point and you might have missed it. Maybe delete all 3 and publish new ones. Does it say you’ve used 1 of your 3 tries?
I post 3 videos and waiting for approval, I left it alone like other influencers advise not make more than 3 videos, out of no reason I check my amazon associate account, my videos have $132 in total commissions for the month of June, is that it? Am I in the program? I havent set up any payment account. Should start uploading video reviews? What is you advice to me, thanks and I enjoy your videos
When you go to the “manage videos” tab, at the top, there will be a banner with a blue lock, showing how many submissions you’ve made out of 3 and all that. If that lock is gone, you should be approved.
They will post your videos to their site before you are approved. Some people will have those rejected and you wouldn't get the money but if you are approved you would eventually get that money.
@@kristikaye4491 you’re partially correct. Your videos can get “published” without getting approved for onsite. But, your videos will not get “rejected” and then get approved for onsite. Rejected means it didn’t follow Amazon’s required standards.

Can I promote my own products? I have over 400 coloring books on Amazon KDP and I would like to make videos on them.
I’m not sure if that’s allowed or not. On regular products, the sellers can have a main video for their product. Not sure about with books.
