@@ChrissyLove you upload them to your storefront and tag the product. That video can then appear on the product page or other places in Amazon. If you upload to your storefront and tag the products, Amazon will do the rest.

Congrats! I've been waiting for a week and I'm dying of impatience 😂😂
I just got approved today, Thursday and submitted Monday. So, 3 days for Onsite Commissions on my first attempt. I used my Pixel phone and natural sunlight coming into the room with a simple background. I did add those videos onto my youtube account and linked my amazon store as well as my affiliate link to the products in the description. Each video was 1:40-1:55 minutes long. I shot some panning B roll and even did a time lapse. Probably more than what was needed but I wanted it to get approved. I was more active on TH-cam, by commenting on channels that I get value from. I also worked on my store by making lists and ideas. I hope that helps!

I am horrible at social media. Especially with picking anything to get engagement. I've attempted for years with different accounts and niches and as many tutorials and types of advice I follow, somehow I can never make it work.
I am so envious of you and others I see making real money with this program. You are amazing.
Social media is HARD! It’s not for everyone. I’ve been making content for over a decade but have only done it full time the last two years. Don’t get down on yourself about it but keep learning if you really want it!

I got approved four days ago and already my first 3 videos were denied. I uploaded 3 new ones and two of them say "published" and within moments the most recent says "In review." Could they already be reviewing my account? That's crazy fast!
It can be fast to get the videos reviewed. Usually the longest wait if people applying to get into the program.

I’ve never submitted any videos so it sounds like I need to do those 3 to get the ok…. THeN I can start making unlimited review videos??

Yes submit videos in order to get approved and start earning from videos. Any Amazon Influencer can earn from photos and lists before that.
It doesn't affect it on Amazon's site. You can review anything. If you want to be well known for something and use the same content on amazon and off then sticking to a niche is usually better.

Hi i just applied for being an amazon influencer then the next step is to build a storefront . Can you help me how to build a storefront and where do i actually need to create the storefront, is it on my social media account or thr amazon page? How do I know if I am in the program already? I am already in the associate program and it is showing something about a creator connections

Such a great video, very informative. I have a question. The three videos you send in for approval. Do they put those on the Amazon sight for people or not? Also, do you put all three videos in at once or when you get one done, go ahead and upload it while working on the others?
They do one they are approved!
You can do it all at once or one at a time but you can’t be placed on site until all three are done and approved by Amazon.

What if you have a product that could have or could not have actually come from Amazon but Amazon has the exact same one. Can you review those? Also could I do a product review on my influencer account that was purchased through my husband’s Amazon account?

Hi! Great content! I got approved immediately but now I'm hearing I need to have an active social media page to get my 3 videos approved. Is that true? I haven't posted to my TH-cam channel in a year.
It depends! Hard to say for sure. Some people are still in the program with pages that aren’t active but I’ve heard a couple people say they’ve been removed because of it so it probably depends on if Amazon reviews your account. There is nothing official about it but the program is for active influencers on other platforms so it wouldn’t hurt to keep an active page!

You don’t have to. I have seen videos that talk and some that don’t.

I’m so confused bc I am accepted and uploaded 4 videos now they all are published on my storefront but nowhere does it say accepted or denied for onsite commissions. Do you get an email or how do you see notification one way or the other? I must be missing something 😢
It is definitely confusing. Mine were published just recently too but that doesn't mean you are accepted yet. They're still reviewing them. From what I've read, you should have a congrats pop up when you go to your storefront I think. Or get an email. Also if you type in Amazon creator hub on google it will show from that site if your videos are still "locked". Hope that helps!

Affiliate is off site sharing of links, Influence is mainly on Amazon's website itself.
My first 3 videos were rejected for onsite commission but I cannot find where they say the reason is for these rejections? Would you know where this is located? I went to "manage video" and not there. I hear people say it is next to the video but I don't see this. Thanks
This was the only message I got from Amazon, but no exact reason: "Your videos were not approved to be featured on our product pages. Please try again.
After review, we have determined your videos don't meet our video quality requirements. These requirements must be met to be shown on placements outside your storefront, such as a product's details page. To be reconsidered for additional placements outside of your storefront, please delete all your existing videos and upload at least 3 new videos that meet our best practices. Please note that we limit the number of cumulative reviews to 3 per influencer."
It should have a reason under manage video if it’s something like you shared personal info or gave medical advice - big no nos. They don’t give a specific reason if it’s based on video quality - bad lighting, bad sound, etc.
On the topic of making video's for product pages without video's is a myth... That's the video's I target and it's paying off.... Try it... Just a little tip... Cheers
It was previously not worth doing because you wouldn’t show up but Amazon is ALWAYS changing and yes I’ve now made sales from products without manufacturer videos. This program literally changes week to week on video placements and possibilities… both good and bad.
I’m having trouble getting my 3 videos approved 😢 I think I’m doing everything right but clearly I’m missing something 🤔 it’s so nerve wracking you only get 3 tries! Lol

You can definitely use the app on your phone. Some people only do it that way.

Do you have to buy the products your recommending? Seems like you would spend more than you make.
You have to have them in hand yes, but many people have hundreds of things they already bought that are sold on Amazon. Beyond that people research products to find the right ones and spend less than they make. That’s the goal at least!
Should you stick within a niche with your videos or can you make reviews for just about anything you've purchased from amazon?
You can do anything! Every video could potentially be seen. If you want to build a following outside on a platform like TikTok or TH-cam then stick with a niche is usually good advice.

Answered on your other comment. Basically where you are looking is for specific reasons like giving medical advice or saying the price in the video. They don’t give video quality feedback, so your videos might just not have been good enough but they don’t give that type of feedback. You just have to improve the videos and try again.

I’ve been accepted to start earning commissions on videos posted to Amazon, how do I know which products are eligible for commissions? You said some don’t pay…
On videos the seller can not participate so if there are no videos you won’t earn from on the actual product page but can earn from your storefront.
What does starting from over completely mean? I can’t reuse my social media that got approved anymore?
Yes if you get to that point if multiple rejections you would need to apply with a different social/brand.
What about amazon influencer program posts? We earn from posts?
You can earn from other posts in your storefront like photos and lists!
I am stumped. I have a great following on TikTok(almost 3000 peeps) and just tried to sign up as an influencer and got denied immediately ☹️ what am I doing wrong?

Yes but most people already have a lot that they could review to start.
Can the Amazon associates make videos and receive commission as well?
Yes! You can do both but you have to apply to the influencer side of the program to do so!

I got denied...anything I can do?
I've been told to remove those first 3 videos and review the rules of content. Then make 3 new videos that follow the rules, 30-90 seconds is best- and upload them to apply. Make sure to watch the videos carefully before submitting- best of luck, you got this!

It can be products you already own that are sold on Amazon.
my baby's bottles weren't bought on amazon but since they have them on there too I made a video. as long as it is the exact item sold on amazon you can do the video, which is amazing!!!!
I have an Amazon store now about 200 summer clothes and selling 1 item about every 2 weeks and just about to quit. Any advice?
Clothes are the most returned items on Amazon by far. If the customer buys your product but then returns it, you won’t get a commission. I know a lot of Amazon Influencers who avoid doing clothing reviews altogether for this reason. You might want to try other product categories and see if your analytics improve!

In the associates program if you don’t make a sale in 24 hours with the cookie then you don’t get commissions from the sale. That’s probably what you heard about.

Can we live in any country in order to become an amazon influencer?
No some countries are not supported. They have a list you can check.
How do you add your bank information for them to pay you ?
It’s in settings! Got to account settings and “change payment method” and enter your bank info.

You should have them in hand and not film in stores. Usually that means buying them or already owning them or borrowing from a friend even.

Yes! Depends on the product but I’ve seen plenty make it to the top carousels even
How come no influencer is talking about that recent? $25 a video incentive incentive?
Not every one in the program received that opportunity to do it. My account did not so I didn’t have details for it.
Also this video was made before that incentive so it wouldn’t have been possible to talk about in this video.

And I checked, it says PUBLISHED so I think I have about 2500 dollars coming to me. But I have anxeity I have not heard from Amazon. But says they will confirm by Oct 15. Any advice? I am really anxious. My whole Chrsitmas depends on this .
That’s great! No advice, you just have to wait for Amazon to review and then pay. They are really behind since they accepted almost double the number of videos they said they would.

Unfortunately that usually means you have to start over. The account you have now won’t be approved for onsite placement.

Videos using AI voices have been removed so as of now I’d steer clear

Ok, so there are no videos in other countries, only frontstore? So it works only in the USA?
They’ve started in other countries like Canada and UK but it’s primarily USA and some people from certain countries aren’t allowed to sign up as influencers. But English is usually a good option for programs primarily based in us.
They will probably keep expanding it to other countries as long as it is successful so keep checking with them to see if your country is eligible for videos!
