In the wild they are very protective of their territory ... they swarm intruders like bees ... fierce little birds. I have a blue female and a green male ... they should begin nesting in a few months.
I play this for my parrotlet and it makes him/her so happy. I only have one (gift) and it really helps with vocal training and alertness. So glad you have this posted. Love the music too.

Yeah, it was just a natural thing for him. He was also pretty young here and less obnoxious as is he now unfortunately haha. Try leaving some music on for your bird while you leave someplace. She may begin to like it and sing along with it. My bird doesn't even talk/sing that much until he knows he's alone in the room. lol. You may have a closet bird on your hands too. And try teaching her a turn around trick. That's a pretty easy trick to teach a bird. :)

The only time he chirps is when I play his favorite video, this one.
