I cannot imagine the wear and tear on the seals and bearings of an electric motor right at the wheel. I think that’ll be trouble. They’re gonna have to take seals and wheel bearings, which would be the motor bearing to a whole different level.
A usefull comparison summery.. 👍🏼🇬🇧🧙♂️ though the artificial voice is accurate its still prefferable to use a human narrator. You might want to take a look at the advantages and design of Rare earth/ permanent magnet free motors verses perment magnet motors. Dont forget that Copper reserves are also under pressure and that the PMF motors can also do without copper windings saving wt. money and reducing pressure on the already struggling reserves.
if you make the EV the holly cow what it not is then motors are good for a purpose for one thing one motor will fit verry good for a other thing the other motor prforms better so it is the purpose for what use one motor fits all is advertisment talk
like this how sure are you that some people do not like the gearing in combination with high RPM i love it the other motor will kill my innovation in fact for me it will be useless.

One that has greater value used as a raw material in manufacturing.
very good. i hope to see them in motorcycles soon.
Nice & beauty best technology
To be clear, the motor has never been the issue with EVs; the battery is!

Someone PLEASE make an Axial Flux motor-in-a-wheel DIY bolt-on kit for < $3K to convert Toyota Echo, Yaris, Corolla etc to a PHEV.

lucky there is not one master there is always a master above a master
and i am not talking about a believe.
You have your terminologies backwards radio flux is like the Kona Sega motor. Axial flux it’s like traditional Motors.
No.
I’m all confused scratch that comment to that I just made and I still don’t know for sure whether it’s axial or radial
