I had a wonderful time thank you. Got lovely haberdashery bits bias binding, labels, buttons. I won two tickets from Specky Seamstress which was amazing. Bought a few fabrics that I couldn't resist including some Lady Mcelroy and Fabric Godmother new collection - it really was brilliant but a very long day. So sorry your plans were scuppered due to being unwell. Really hope you are feeling better 😊❤

@@ClaireD247 yeah I was definitely going to spend if I had made it to the the Stitch Fest so just went for it. I went for the pink and orange Linen Viscose, and the floral on ivory with that lurex fleck 🤩 so tough to choose though!
If you do a fabric ban next Jan it seems reasonable to make it go up to your birthday :) Then make another goal of some kind. One of mine is to sew 3 things before I go shopping again The fabrics are beautiful.
The birthday target sounds like a much more sensible idea! I think I will go for that one next time. Love your approach too though, I might try something similar x

(Sorry if you said). I think the fabric buying to avoid is when you (and I’ve done this!) add loads of items to my basket cos they’re on sale/get to the free shipping level. 😮
Hi Jan, it's a cotton voile (I probably forgot to say 🤦🏻♀️) it's nice and soft! You are definitely right re just buying for the sake of it. Prior to the FG sale this year I preloaded my basket with things that I actually wanted and then only bought the ones which were reduced instead of going mad on the lot!
