Far Eastern Occultism which has to do with what this mod is based around, is the creepiest stuff around. I'm not super familiar with chinese but I am with Japanese and the whole dark realm creatures remind of Yokai. Their stories of these monsters and how to deal with them is bizarre to say the least like the Kappa. This bald turtle man who is often friendly will sometime drown you or come to shore to steal your soul out your butt. Another I forget the name of is this pale woman who wears a surgical mask that will stop you and if you don't tell her you're going to be late and to let you pass, she'll show you her carved smile on her face, kill you, and carve a smile into your face. There's plenty of Far eastern cinema that have to deal with this dark realm aberrations and I'd highly suggest you check out the listings.
@@mylesdrake2949ah Yokai, japanese folklore and current era horror stories, the Japanese love them some horror.
Anime( I watch a lot) really doesn't do them justice in just how creepy, disturbing and in some cases utterly hilarious they can be.
These mods are cool but I swear no one makes content on them I never see let's plays

Asian horror and undead mythology has a really cool, but unnerving quality to it. What a brilliant mod.
Maybe it is because I have grown up with western horror and the novelty has worn off, but I find that eastern horror is more scary and horrifying. Playing a faction of ghost doctors and nurses and undead patience (along with the Non Chang units.) I find to be creepier than anything that has crawled out of Sylvannia, or Nehekara. The flavour text for each building, and unit also sheds light on the lore of this faction, and the poor souls who tried to stop what we now play as.
Curse of Non Chang is one of the best mods out there, happy for this
Jin Jin and Nagash are also outstanding.
Nonchang is one of my favorite stylized factions. Having Undead Cathay Factions really changes up the war scenario and would love to see a 3 way war between The Undead, Chaos, and The Dragon Siblings
Agreed. CA needs to elaborate on this soon. Curious if Nakai will stay or go.
@@ghost101049 Probably stay, his presence helps to highlight the animosity between Cathay and the Lizardmen.

These monsters are honestly giving me some Hyrule: Total War Gohma vibes. Great mod, worth checking out if anyone is interested.
These look absolutely amazing. If an official implementation were half as cool I'd pay the 20 bucks for such a faction. Great job modders!

It's the same lords as the other jade blood vampire faction. Just so people aren't confused this faction called the jade blooded vampires has 2 legendary lords and this is the second one. It's an amazing mod. It's a little difficult in the beginning because you don't have access to armored melee units.....plus the raise dead/ghost mechanic only recruits spirit units, and not anything else. So it's gonna be awhile until you can get cav or revenent/grave guard equivalent. My only complaint is that it took me 40 or turns until I could start recruiting the revenants which is their basic heavy infantry front line. I mean I'm not finished yet so maybe later on you can raise revenants......dunno. all in all one of my most fav mods to date. The unit art is hands down c.a. quality......to me anyway.
BTW Cursed Jade Carriages 19:28 are fast moving shotguns. Very powerful against infantry.
More undead! Im all Vamp'd out mod makers seem to love skaven and vampires haha 😆 for sure adding this to my mod list of course because i want all the lords
Playin this campaign now thanks to your recommendation. I’m having a blast with it and have already conquered Ind. moving to ether a Khuresh or Cathay next

The artwork of the models in this mod is amazingly good.
Despite this mod being exceptionally well-done, assuming there's an Eastern-Vampire-themed faction with Asia horror in legends, I doubt they'll be a race on it's own but just another faction under Vampire Counts.

It is great that we have new faction mods. However, CA F everything up with that last patch, can't play with multiple mods with heroes in them.
Okay wtf is that carriage thing like is it a yokai or something along line of fill the sucker with gore and souls to make it run?
While whole sanitarium thing seems hamfisted Silent Hill theme, and sticks out for me in Warhammer setting, I must admit that work put into the mod is incredible on all levels and fact that they bothered to make Tor Elasor playable faction on top even though they never had to speaks tons about how much heart was poured into it.
I hope for more vade vampire bloodlines ledendary lords and units
Please somebody take over the "Dynamic Disasters" mod, it's the most valuable mod in the workshop and people are begging for someone to update it. Nathan, please summon the Elector Counts sir
the units are more based on chinese and japanese evil spirits and demons and such.
Is this playable in immortal empires?
I lose like 50 fps from the vfx lol. Those vfx on the new units are pretty heavy when you have a lot of them.
Looks like a quite incredible mod. I usually value official stuff more, but this is very interesting. Plus, the ability of CA to make the game I want to play, is..... questionable.
If CA pay the modder for his work it will not be theft;P

with comunity bugfix, Mixu's, OvN and other factions mods do we really need those overpriced DLC? modders doing a great job for real!
Not to mention grimhammer which rebalanced the entire game by themselves

@@zarrstrudeltributemaker314no we don't need more content have you seen the new dawi mod it has nothing to do with the new dlc and it adds mech suits for dwarfs we don't need more content we need more modders and many more are joining by the day we will have much better then the main game
