It’s projects like this that makes me wish Nintendo would’ve done that weird thing third party developers in the 2000s did where they would make home console and handheld versions of the same game except they would be entirely different games with separate developers.
@@YellowStickmanAnimations they did. Another good example was sonic games. Sonic Colours, Generations and Lost World all had different versions on the DS/3DS compared to the mainline home consoles. I used to think it was so cool playing a pocket-sized version of these games on the go.

Idk it’s easy to pick up a new project like hey let’s make a fallout mod, let’s make a Pokémon hack then u get to it and those projects have to become back burner projects a lotta people who make stuff have adhd, u may lose interest but never fully lose the flame to wanna make some of those projects but yah obviously no dur sometimes u gotta put ur best foot forward and work on things that could actually make u money or get u credit. Not saying porting a game to a DS sized cartridge isn’t a huge accomplishment they could totally land jobs at Nintendo for this typa work cuz these guys r putting the devs who had the n64s hardware limits to shame rn but still I just feel like it’s super easy to get hyped for these things yet a lotta folk don’t even know the half of it with the logistics and work it would take. Idk the specifics for this typa compression n replacement of textures n stuff etc but I’d imagine it’s half n half u got a full game with all the data to compress but getting it to run with a team of 1 is just a very daunting task

Technically Delta Emulator but yeah it's pretty impressive although if there is a new update then bruh because that means I have to search for it again

Yeah! I’m nearing the end of a Galaxy 100% run right now, and I’m realizing that the levels just aren’t meant to be experienced and explored multiple times. I hope they do something new with this DS game!

The Mario 64 ds engine is really polished. You'd just be adding new skybox files and closing the hood. Not to say its easy, its anything but easy. But your energy wouldn't be spent on the physics engine.
*Fake anti piracy screens (Mario Odyssey obviously doesn't have a creepy bloody Mario face saying death threats of course not the game is rated E10+ Nintendo would get sued) There are some real and actually funny anti piracy like in Zelda oot, where Zelda has a funny haircut, and the game softlocks you at a gate that Zelda is supposed to open.

I know the game isnt complete yet, (and you didn't make it) but god it looks painful to control. You keep your speed after touching a wall. Very hard to get used to, and might be fixed.

The BreakDownPlanetGalaxy level actually works really well and is playable.
This could’ve worked had Nintendo actually wanted to make a DS companion version of Super Mario Galaxy, similar to Sonic Colors.
Nintendo could have gotten it to work but Nintendo probably didn't have enough intelligence yet to get it to work or either they just didn't care

I played as Luigi but it was pretty much the same to me because I am good at getting used to newer controls or altered controls

It's not that painful to play although I'm using an emulator called Delta to run this and I also used my Joy Cons for the recording

It's real hardware, but can't be too sure about that, as the game can be run on an emulator.
