Nicely done. As I do make use of the acrylic paints in starter sets (the matt ones at least) I shall remember that tip about the tape dispensers - thanks!
Cool little build. Some of these new airfix kits are really nice. I got a couple of Spitifres the other day as free gifts , and the detail is excellent
well done alex! the model looks great and and i am glad that you enjoyed making it. the me262 took its maiden flight on a base nearby my place and is relevant for the entire region due to its manufacturing back then. highly interesting topic!
oh yes, she is :) have seen a 262 in Munich and also some bits of here at the Leipheim airfield museum (where she took the maiden flight and was also built to a certain extend).
Hamilkar Barkas and to think that when it flew if only Hitler didn t asked for a 500 kg bomb this jet would have actualy made THE diference... makes you think! :)
I wanted to do that kit when I was 18 back in '87, Thanks for doing it for me. Now, I think it needs a few AIM9Xs mounted to it, and of course it will need a cuing system for the pilot.
+ChancerNW Hello my friend and Thank you! The only "problem" i encounter on this one was on the fit between the wing and JUMO engines... but i had a lor of fun! I hope you are well!
Eine wundervolle Schwalbe, a wonderful swallow. Great work as usual. I would also like to build one in 1/48. but I have not found a suitable model yet.
Cool. My next aircraft will be a MIG 29 Fulcrum A of the German Bundeswehr. The aircraft come from the former GDR and were taken over. The first MIG 29 in NATO owned. Have you already seen my finished EC 135 ADAC?
this is again a very nice build Alex, really enjoyed watching the video. Looks like it fits really nicely so well done indeed Airfix, i was going to ask it but i just saw in in you comment that it is a tailsitter ... was thinking it, sad they do not specify in the instruction that you need to put some weight in the nose
+jean grieten Yes Jean... i disn t had any led and the weight i improvised was not enough and would compromise the fit! But even so... it was just a tad fitly on the engines fit but even so a pleasure!
+jean grieten Oh and they do specify that it needs weight ok? It was my bad! But this one is already on a wood base simulating concrete so iys glued and no problem with that! :)
no i do not think they do, i have seen it on some instructions but mostly they do not even tell anything, or when they say it is need they do not specify neither how much ... so that would be a nice thing for them to do would be easier
A great little build, Alex...too small for me though, my eyes cannot cope with that scale anymore! I had to use putty on the front wheel of my Skyhawk, because the instructions didn't indicate that nose weight was required. Cheers : )
+International British Modeler we already have some more in comon Marrin! This one is a tail sitter because the exact same thing my friend! We are getting old... but with a lot of class!!😂😂😂
Great build I have to find one in a 1/48 scale. Have you seen the modern rebuild? Everything is modern of course but its quite a sight to see one flying!
Doing the beaufighter tf.X atm good kit exept its impossible to put theinstrument panel in it because it just dont fit (WAY TO BIG) EDIT: I WANT THAT MODEL!!!
Ulisses Simionato sim Ulisses apliquei mas muito pouco.. aliás ha uma imagem onde vc ppde ver o putty.. simplesmente esqueci de colocar no video! Abraço
As a beginner I really liked seeing your technic in real speed. Thanks very much.
Great job, the ME 262 was a beautiful aircraft, and you have really done it justice here. Bravo
Thanks! :)

Nicely done. As I do make use of the acrylic paints in starter sets (the matt ones at least) I shall remember that tip about the tape dispensers - thanks!

Hamilkar Barkas Hello Michael! I love ME262... such a gracious jet!
oh yes, she is :) have seen a 262 in Munich and also some bits of here at the Leipheim airfield museum (where she took the maiden flight and was also built to a certain extend).
Hamilkar Barkas and to think that when it flew if only Hitler didn t asked for a 500 kg bomb this jet would have actualy made THE diference... makes you think! :)
Wow. I didn't know you lived in the town where they manufactured the me262. Now THAT'S a privilege.
I wanted to do that kit when I was 18 back in '87, Thanks for doing it for me. Now, I think it needs a few AIM9Xs mounted to it, and of course it will need a cuing system for the pilot.
TalksWithDirt ahahahah!! Aim 9x ARE the cherry on top of THIS cake
Very nice work Alex. And excellent neat build with a well compiled vid. Great looking 262.
+ChancerNW Hello my friend and Thank you! The only "problem" i encounter on this one was on the fit between the wing and JUMO engines... but i had a lor of fun! I hope you are well!

I have heard others have too.otherwise it looks like s great kit.

+MrBMBuilder yes it is! Amazing hobby this one of ours!
Lovely job sir. Did Airfix supply the swasika decal or did you source it elsewhere?
Nicely done there Alex 👍

Hi Alex sorry for the late comment but what psi did you spray with the ak paints and what size needle in you’re airbrush
i have this sat on my desk ready to start, thanks for the inspiration gents ;)
I see many modelers using a “surfacer,” but what does it do exactly? Can you put any paint on top of it or is it limited to acrylics?
good job! I have not saw SS decal on the sheet, where did you get that?or is there a separate part of SS decal?
Hello. Very nice job!!
When do you use each one of the glue types? According to what? Thanks
Mr.Alex, when you do these vids, it look so easy :] HAHAHA, great bild mine friend, love it, and with a Big smile
Eine wundervolle Schwalbe, a wonderful swallow. Great work as usual. I would also like to build one in 1/48. but I have not found a suitable model yet.

We are getting older by the day, but I'd be willing to swap your age for mine, if you're okay with that?! : P
+International British Modeler AHAHAHA.. well... if i could... i wouldn t!ahahah.. your right!:)

EDIT: I WANT THAT MODEL!!!
Very nice.
Is there a 1:48 version?
How big is this model in length?
Awesome I like the kit also I want one of those
E nao ficou nenhuma marca próximo do cockpit, a cola e o primer resolveram a junção?
+Ulisses Simionato daí ter sido tão divertido!:)
Super,Alex .Перфектен модел!
Явор Ганчев Thank you!

Nice done. I have plan to build it too - nice to know, that it is a good model. Cheers! ;)

Pity they have removed the tail fin decal and it would be a true war time replica
The airfix one is a bit better than the revell 1 72 me 262
Edit: but the revell one is cheaper
SU-34 please.
Серега Серега I like it too! Will try
The revell version is better I think ... And half the price
Airfix = heavy panel lines imhop
Модель с одной стороны хороша,а с другой стороны не очень...Что мешало выполнить качественно заднию часть мотогондол???Даже древняя ,хасегава, лучше!!
