DISNEY HOTEL INTRODUCTION
The Disney Ambassador Hotel
This was the first Disney-branded hotel built at Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan. It opened on July 20, 2000 and was constructed under a license by The Walt Disney Company. The hotel is managed by The Oriental Land Company.
The hotel was the Tokyo resort's first officially Disney-branded hotel, but the sixth hotel on the Tokyo Disney Resort property. The Disney Ambassador Hotel is located next to Ikspiari, an "entertainment district" similar to the Downtown Disney area of the Disneyland Resort and Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Ambassador opened in 2000 and was designed by the 2011 Driehaus Prize winner Robert A. M. Stern and Paul L. Whalen.
Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta
This was the second hotel built at Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan. It opened on September 4, 2001 alongside the opening of the Tokyo DisneySea theme park. It was constructed under a license by The Walt Disney Company. The hotel is managed by The Oriental Land Company.
The hotel gains the distinction of being the only hotel in the world which is entirely placed inside a Disney theme park. It is located above the Mediterranean Harbor port in Tokyo DisneySea. The hotel is themed after the ports of Portofino and Venice.
Tokyo Disneyland Hotel
This is the third Disney-brand hotel of the Tokyo Disney Resort. Also, it is the fourth Disneyland Hotel. It is located directly in front of the Tokyo Disneyland park with the Tokyo Disneyland station of the Disney Resort Line monorail system in between. The hotel was designed to reflect early 20th century Victorian architectural style, and to blend with the World Bazaar area of Tokyo Disneyland, the monorail station and the main entrance area.
Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel
The newest Disney hotel opened June 1, 2016 east of the resort property in Shin-Urayasu. The hotel was refurbished from the former Palm & Fountain Terrace Hotel. The hotel is divided into two properties: Wish and Discover. The two properties complement each other but do vary in theming. This is the only official Disney hotel not located in the Resort area. A free 20-minute shuttle is available for guests.

For me, the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is part of the whole Tokyo Disneyland atmosphere. It's such an iconic part of the parks and you see it when you enter and leave, from the monorail and at Maihama Station. It literally glistens in the sun. It was on my bucket list for ages and finally got to stay there! Didn't realise it's a more recent addition to the parks.
Very well done. I have been lucky enough to stay at the DLH and the MC. Both are amazing and I recommend you stay at one of these if you are doing a once in a lifetime trip to Japan. Thanks.

Personally, I would choose the Mira Costa, as it offers something unique that can't be found at any other Disney resort. 😁

Good visuals, but the narrator needs some coffee before he speaks, & he should speak more quickly. He sounded really bored & this 17:46 video should've been under 15 minutes long. I subscribed & make these suggestions because I plan on watching more videos by Disney Park Addict in the future.
