Hi thank you for the video. We are family of 3 (2 adults and one pre-teen 12 year old) and thinking to reserve the club room (for the club access). I want to confirm though that all three of use can enter the lounge at the same time? Sounds like only 2 at the time? We cannot leave our 12 year old by her self. Thank you.
My understanding of the current policy is that if you book a club room with 3 beds, 3 people will be allowed into the club lounge. The 2 person limit applies to Marriott elites who have access to the lounge due to elite status. To go beyond the limit, you would be charged an extra person fee of 3,000 yen per child up to age 12 or 6,000 yen per adult.
Hi! Thank you for the video and review. My wife and I will be visiting Tokyo Disneyland this month and part of our stay, we chose this hotel. I have a couple of questions as I am trying to decide how to book our nights with points. Since we have Platinum status, I know we have access to the Club Lounge already. Would you recommend booking a Club Level room with points still? Or just a regular room and still have lounge access? For the welcome gift, if we choose the Galleria buffet, is the buffet free for just one day or the whole duration of our stay? If it’s just one day, how much is the breakfast buffet daily? Lastly, how does purchasing park tickets work? Should we wait until we get to the hotel to buy tickets? Or buy them before we travel there to Tokyo? Are there early entry perks to the parks for staying at the Sheraton? I know I asked a lot of questions and I appreciate your response. Thank you so much for your help!
I never book a club level room because there's a chance of getting upgraded to one anyway with platinum status. If you're concerned about getting an old, unrenovated room due to upgrades being unavailable, you can book a park wing or ocean dream room. If you select breakfast as a welcome gift, you'll get a voucher for each morning of your stay. The Sheraton does not have early entry into any of the Disney parks. Only the Disney hotels have early entry with the Miracosta and Fantasy Springs Hotel being the only ones which currently give early entry into both Disneyland and DisneySea. You need to purchase tickets in advance to enter the parks. These days, I purchase from Klook when I know which day I want to visit and am comfortable with the exchange rate for yen. You can get 5 USD off your first purchase from Klook if you sign up using my referral link below: www.klook.com/en-US/invite/EU8GUL Be aware that sometimes, Klook will not allow discounts to be used for Tokyo Disney tickets but you can still use it for other attractions in Japan that are sold on Klook.
The rooms here will be larger than what you can get for a similar price in central Tokyo so I personally don't mind taking the train 30-40 minutes from here to Tokyo station area for a couple of days. If you plan to visit many places further West than Ikebukuro or Shinjuku, then you'll likely want to stay somewhere closer.
I don't know unfortunately. At Western hotels like this in Japan, it's usually not a problem when you're covered up but people with visible tattoos might not be allowed to use the public bath, pool and/or gym. You may want to contact the hotel directly if you're interested in using these facilities.
I consider them to be medium firmness. But the beds at most other hotels nearby such as the Hilton and Disney hotels may be too firm if you like softer beds.

@@ardens-travel-guide awesome! Thank you so much for the info! We’re so excited!
Would you recommend this property for a base during an entire week trip in tokyo, or just the tokyo disneyland portion of the trip?

How do the hotel staff feel about guests with tattoos?
I don't know unfortunately.

Are the beds firm or soft? We definitely prefer the softer side. ;)
