Same here. I use the air fryer to make boil egg. I have been cooking protein in the air fryer to add toward any sort of salad (pasta salad, egg salad, chicken salad, bean/veggie salad). Leftover salad can be remade into wraps for the following meal. Just use the salad as a filler for a wrap, and toast the wrap in the air-fryer.

Love the cardinal when my best friend died I came home from funeral I was washing dishes as I looked out the window a red cardinal sat on my passenger windows staring at me that was his seat when he rode with me brings back great memories my favorite go to meal is chicken salad with discount croissants with tomato yummy up to 8 dollars a sandwich at gas stations and restaurants only a couple bucks at home 😅

We too still live in our starter home(33 years). Two bed , one bath, 900 square feet. Basically the size of your little house in SC. 😂 Raised two boys, they had bunk beds. Still have one son at home, the older one is married with a son on the way. The younger will be out in a year or two as he is planning to get married soon. We also payed our mortgage off early. 30 year mortgage in 20 years. Now that we are almost empty nesters it will be perfect to retire in.
When it’s hot, my husband and I enjoy a lettuce-based salad with previously cooked meat that’s cold… Something like diced cold chicken breast that was grilled the day before, or even can tuna. No cooking required for anything and you get to have a delicious, healthy, cool meal. We live in South Texas, where it ishot most of the year. We eat a lot of salads, lol.
New subscriber here. Love your channel! I have been single for about 25 years now, raised three children and have tried to make frugal choices along the way thanks to my beautiful Mom and Dad. My summer meals are pasta salads, grilling, and pot lucks with friends and family.
My favorite cold weather meal is a provolone, bacon, and avocado sandwich on sourdough bread (buttered and grilled). It's a supped up summer grilled cheese.
I agree re the house situation I live alone I bought my house 20 years ago and I save each year so that I can get something done on the house. Any extra money I have goes towards paying off the mortgage which will be cleared later this summer so almost there. This year I got all the rooms decorated new carpets and curtains I am not good at diy so I hired a friend and I did any cleaning or prep work needed. I got deals on everything I bought and bought stuff during sales. All I need is a roof over my head a warm clean home. I don’t need a bigger house in fact could downsize… have a great week everyone
Egg salad sandwiches or deviled eggs, rolled cold cuts, olives, etc. on a platter. The latter is my personal favorite. I also serve fruited Jello with whipped cream or fruit salad. After a hot day who wants to get even more overheated? Have a blessed day 💖✝
When I cook any pasta for a salad, after draining and rinsing well, add lemon juice and toss. The lemon takes away the starchy taste then proceed making salad. I make Macaroni salad either adding turkey breast or ham cubes and cheese with lots of colorful vegies.
I happen to be eating a tuna sandwich as I watch this. I don't like mayonnaise so I use RANCH DRESSING fortuna salad instead of mayonnaise -- gives it a good flavor 🙂 I came up with this idea when I didn't have any mayonnaise but I had Chick-fil-A condiments in my fridge 😜
The weather has been horrible with the poor air quality, and being I have asthma, I have to stay indoors. But, it's more time for me to make my favorite Italian pasta salad. I also enjoy making us frozen fruit pops with mashed frozen fruit, like cherries and bananas, adding a little almond milk and vanilla in the food processor, and then placing the mixture into ice pop molds. So good, and no artificial flavors or colors.
Hi Emmy & Paul I like to do a charcuterie board for dinner when it's hot. It's a nice light dinner then maybe some ice cream, pudding or jello for dessert. TFS ☮️💜
Me too I have gone through well the dog and I, have gone through four on sale watermelons. My hubby also takes a couple chunks out for the birds and squirrels that we like to watch, they enjoy it too in the hot summer months.
I eat hummus, salsa, refried beans. I also use wraps with veggies. I keep leftover soup in the freezer so I always have a meal. I can eat soup every day. A big salad, with bowl of fruit and homemade bread
I love sandwiches when the weather is warm, especially egg salad sandwiches. Also, veggies and dip are a favourite. I like to make a ranch dip with sour cream and fresh herbs from my garden.
We still live in our first home that is 1200 square foot 46 years later. Paid it off pretty early. Debt free and both me and husband are still working full time at 65. We may retire in a year or two. I hope we can enjoy our retirement as much as you and Paul do. Love your channel.
I'm still in my starter house after 46 years here in California. First with my first husband that passed on and our son and now with my second husband. The house is small but just right for us.
Thank you for another wonderful video Emmy and Paul! Such helpful tips!! I'll be trying out the stocking one for sure. An easy summer lunch/dinner meal my husband and I enjoy is Caprese Sandwiches. We make ours with spinach leaves, fresh basil, tomato slices, bocconcini or fresh mozzarella cheese sliced up, and balsamic vinegar and olive oil spread onto the undersides of the toasted bread slices. I sometimes add arugula as well.
We built our house 36 years ago and still reside in it. We just got back from a 3 day camping trip with our camping group. Yes, we have a travel trailer, but we paid cash for it and got the most efficient layout we could. It's perfect for our needs. We enjoyed reading and playing games. Simple things like a campfire! We planned our meals and cooked from scratch! We had a great time and didn't spend gobs of money!
Hi Emmy/Paul: Taco Salad is a yummy cool alternative for a meal. Just put the cold taco meat over a salad with some tortilla straps for crunch add ranch dressing and voila!
Never understood why people use French dressing or Russian dressing. It’s too sweet for my taste. I mix sour cream with a little taco seasoning blend and that’s my dressing.
I love your videos! My parents grew up in the great depression also but they were spenders not savers....I learned a lot though. I decided not to make their mistakes. I learned it late in my life but I am trying to be frugal and am re evaluating my priorities... Stuff is no longer important... Have a beautiful day
I have always used stocking for tying plants. I get them for Pennie’s at garage and estate sales. Plus the very top makes a perfect pony tail holder been doing that since the 80’s 😂
Hot dogs, beans and buy the giant salad mix and vary chopoed veggies to go in it,Also rice is great w that tuna recipie replace the noodles and rice cookers take less heat. Thanks for your ideas!
Made a big mistake this week. Went to make chicken stock with all my scraps the other night. Put everything in the slow-cooker and went to bed. Got up in the morning and realized that I had forgotten to plug it in,😢. One of my favorite hot weather meals is ham pasta salad, so good.
In the summer I use my instant pot, air fryer, slow cooker, grill, electric skillet and we eat more sandwiches and salads in the summer. I will cook in the mornings and then we will heat a plate in the microwave. I try not to use the stove from 4 pm to 8 pm as our electric company charges 4x the amount during those hours, so all baking, etc happens in the morning. Thirty minute meals are Lifesavers as they cook quickly and don't heat up the kitchen.
Vietnamese rice paper rolls. Soften rice paper in hot water, add shredded lettuce, carrot, avocado, chilli and tofu. Wrap up and dip in soy sauce. Best hot weather meal ever. Cheap too. Also live in our starter home after 25 years. Great neighbours, by the beach in Sydney, no reason to move. Small, quirky beach house. All we did was paint it blue and white and plant a beautiful tropical garden. Paid it off fast too.
Hi Emmy and Paul. Glad to see you had a lovely trip to the little house and had a safe trip home. Good video with good information. Our go to summer meals are an assortment of salads, cottage cheese, boiled eggs, and cheeses ham slices for a cold salad plate. Another all time favorite are BLT sandwiches . Its fast and easy when I precook bacon and have prepared the ingredients beforehand. It takes only minutes to put together. No cook meals keep the kitchen cooler.
Make the same dish with canned chicken instead of tuna, I make sun tea and eat fresh veggies from my garden with cream cheese and a canned meat or hard-boiled eggs. No muss no fuss no extra heat in the house.
I make this at least twice a month during the summer. We love it so I usually make enough for two meals and a couple of lunches. Also add a bit of paprika to the mayo/lemon juice.
Loved your channel and wisdom. I have been watching you and listening since I retired. God Bless you and Paul. I asked my daughter and her husband to watch your channel they are in their 30’s and told them to listen again this is a valuable channel
Last weekend, ahead of the heat wave, I made some egg bites and cut up a bunch of melon for our breakfasts. I made a big pasta salad, precooked some taco meat, boiled some eggs, and planned out a few greens salads that incorporate cheese, eggs, or other easy proteins. We used frozen fruit for smoothies too.
Emmy, you know you had me at the NMB photos! 😂 These 7 tips were such good tips! Y’all’s container garden is amazing & what a good idea Paul had to design the watering system to keep the plants hydrated while y’all were here in the Carolinas! Loved this video!
One summer favorite is a tabouli type salad. Bulgur wheat, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onion With a mix of olive oil and lemon juice. I like to add chick peas, too. Another is a 3 bean salad made with black beans, kidney beans and chick peas with chopped cucumber and chopped red peppers and some cilantro. Same type of dressing.
One of my favorite cold meals is, chicken pasta salad. Mine. Recipe: Box of tri color Cork screw pasta Seasoned, cooked chicken breast, no bone or skin. Chopped up. Add in, Sliced banana peppers Black and or green olives Sunflower seeds Fried cranberries, yum, Tiny grape tomatoes, cut in half And the dressing is Zesty Italian wishbone salad dressing. Mixed all up. Just before serving, add in fresh spinach and top with freshly shredded cheese. I usually use asagio or romano but parmesan will also work. It's absolutely delicious. And is a complete meal. You get your protein from your chicken. You get your starch from your pasta. And you get fruits and vegetables with the dried cranberries and the fresh spinach. Also wanted to point out that the reason I use the corkscrew pasta is because all the little bits of seasoning and spices from the salad dressing gets all with inside the grooves of the pasta making sure that you get that flavor in every bite. It is so good.
Hi Emmy and Paul! My mom still loves in the same home my parents bought in 1965. I’m still in my first home I bought in 1994. My house is perfect for me. My go to summer meals are salads of any kind to which I might add grilled chicken or tuna, or a taco salad. Lots of sandwiches. Crockpot recipes too, since we can have several days/weeks of 105+ degree weather and I’m not doing any cooking on those days. (I will put the crockpot outside to cook so it doesn’t heat up my kitchen; energy costs are outrageous and I’m not going to heat up the house unnecessarily.)
Cold tuna pasta salad has always been my family's go-to for hot weather eating. I also made a cold ham pasta salad with diced ham I had in the freezer.
I am 56 in October God willing five years latter same furniture same clothes good simple good life we're I prioritise live within my means count our blessings yes cooking at home❤❤
Hubby and I are still in our starter home (1200 sq feet) 34 years later. Hubby moved some of our money into a high yield savings account that is making money for us. We usually grill burgers or chicken or salmon.
Oh my goodness! What a great idea Paul has given me for staking up certain plants in my garden this year! I never would’ve thought of using a stocking. It does everything that you want it to do and doesn’t risk strangulating and breaking the plant stems like the twine we use sometimes will do. Thanks Paul!
Hi Emmy and Paul! Glad you got to spend 10 days here in SC when it wasn't so dangerously hot. 107 here by Thursday! We purchased our forever home last November after selling our condo which I have shared with you before. It was very dirty and a bit of a fixer upper but in a great neighborhood and location. We already have over 40% equity in it as we put all of the condo proceeds into it. Like you said, the values are increasing every day as well! MB as you probably know is the #1 place people are moving to, so hang on to your little house here for sure! We are the opposite of you as my husband is younger and still working but hoping to retire or at least semi a retire at 55. He has been in the restaurant/ food service business his whole working career which is very hard on the body. He is a chef and I am a pretty good cook as well if I say so myself! We enjoy cooking and eating at home in our beautiful " new" home and have no plans to leave it! Container garden looks great! When I make spaghetti once/week I mixed the extra noodles with Italian dressing, basil, tomatoes, red onion, cucumbers, whatever veggies I have for a cool pasta salad. Hi from MB, SC😎😎😎
Hey Paul and Emmy! Not to be nosy but what jobs did you and Paul retire from. Retirement is such a blessing after teaching 24.+years. I’m a widow so I don’t cook a lot but the crockpot is a dear friend.
Paul was a Foreman for a local town municipality. I taught computer technology in an elementary school. This video will answer a lot of your questions th-cam.com/video/lKoi7cWRREw/w-d-xo.html
Our favorite warm (actually hot here in NC) summer weather dinners is a grilled chicken Caesar salad w/garlic bread. There’s just something delicious about the juicy grilled chicken on top of the cold savory Caesar salad. And the buttery garlic bread just finishes it out nicely. Please be blessed.💕~Sarah D.
My favourite dessert in the summer always tasted so good! Layer of lady finger cookies on the bottom of a glass bowl. Fresh fruit cut up or a can of fruit cocktail drained next. Mix 1 lg tub of plain yogurt with pkg instant vanilla pudding mix and pour over top. Let it sit in the fridge for about an hour so the flavours come out. Enjoy 😉
...I FINALLY cut the cable cord!!! Thanks for helping me do that. I also got a new deal on my internet, paying 2/3 less!!! Now, I am taking stock of my food choices...after that gets mastered...the sky is the limit!
Thanks! This video is so helpful for me right now as I debate what to do. I am 57 and in a small 3 BR and 1 BA home with twin almost-teenagers and an adult daughter with her 2 small children. I am closing soon on the sale of 2 properties my late husband owned and will have a nice chunk of money out of that. At times I am tempted to put that towards a bigger house, but the smarter thing would be to stay put. I can always add a bathroom and even a bedroom but pay for it outright. Everything I look at that is 4BR would mean a mortgage that is more than double what I owe now.
Hi Emmy My tuna pasta is slightly different..Pasta,tuna,mayo,sweetcorn,red onion, and pineapple chunks for sweetness finished with tonnes of black pepper and each serving we squash a packet of salted potato chips on top and mix it all together! Worth a try ! My ultimate favourite hot weather dish is also cold ..chop up a red onion and leave it to rest in a bowl of 5 limes just the juice, the onions will turn a beautiful pink colour after 20 mins in the fridge. Then chop up a water melon into chunks pour over the onions soaked in lime with the juice, add a handful of mint leaves and parsley and cubed feta cheese maybe some pea shoots too mix together and oh my goodness its delicious! xx
So glad you are back !! Taco salad is a family favorite at our house in the summer ! I make my own dressing for it ...equal parts of vinegar , sugar , ketchup, oil yum !!
I like to add some frozen peas to this type of salad -- delicious with the tuna. If I let it sit I just fold them in, if I'm eating it right away I run cool water over them first to thaw.
A summer meal is pulled pork in the crockpot with homemade coleslaw. Another is potato salad with corncobs and minute steak. And lots of salads. Taco salad. Belgium andive salad with cheese and ham cubed from a tin. You get all your proteins and veggies. And your kitchen stays cool.
We like to eat BLT's or tomato sandwiches in the summer. I also use our crockpot to make salsa verde chicken. We put it in tortillas or in a salad. I always love to see pictures of your trips to SC. We haven't been to Tybee in three years because the lodging prices have went up so much. We purchased a camper and are hoping to hit the riad again soon :)
Hello Sweet Friends! I saw that cardinal and said...Yes. I've had some major experiences with cardinals. They are definitely signs from our loved ones, from God. I have stories about a lot of things on signs like that. God in His mercy sends those signs. Our youngest had a dream about my dad in vivid color watching her, he had on a silver colored blazer with a blue shirt. We appreciate your videos, we enjoyed this last one, that is so wonderful that you are in the same home! We've moved around a lot because of hubs being in real estate, (a broker) we get fixer uppers etc. that we can make money on but we're settled now God willing. : ) But we do things the same way, a little at a time. We built this home and I started out with wood counter tops in my kitchen etc. And we had the slab put down with a smooth surface and hubs stained them with gardening chemicals and glazed that. Now we do have laminate wood though. Thanks for your sweet spirits, and your inspiration. You both seem very true blue and have such integrity. God bless ya'll greatly! Your friends ~Amelia and Hubs : )
I like to do cold plates. Everything from veggies, homemade hummus, and naan to deviled eggs, cheese and crackers w/ fruit, or an antipasto platter. Easy to do and cold for hot days.
The cold borsch is the best for me in hot summer. The boiled and minced beetroot, potato and egg, with the adding of minced fresh cucumber or both pickle and cucumber, as you like, some dill and a bit of mustard (optional), salt and pepper for taste and - splash the greek youguth, kefir or any other fermented dairy products. It's very healthy and fresh.

Love a cold salad with protein!
Still live in the same house since we were married 46 years ago. We did add on and update. I am content . Love the garden. ❤❤
Thanks, Delphine!
New subscriber here. Love your channel! I have been single for about 25 years now, raised three children and have tried to make frugal choices along the way thanks to my beautiful Mom and Dad. My summer meals are pasta salads, grilling, and pot lucks with friends and family.
Welcome! So happy you are here, Sandy! Thank you!
@@FrugalMoneySaver Thank you!
My favorite cold weather meal is a provolone, bacon, and avocado sandwich on sourdough bread (buttered and grilled). It's a supped up summer grilled cheese.
Oh yeah!!
You as well, thank you for sharing!
Egg salad sandwiches or deviled eggs, rolled cold cuts, olives, etc. on a platter. The latter is my personal favorite. I also serve fruited Jello with whipped cream or fruit salad. After a hot day who wants to get even more overheated? Have a blessed day 💖✝
Love the jello salad idea!
When I cook any pasta for a salad, after draining and rinsing well, add lemon juice and toss. The lemon takes away the starchy taste then proceed making salad. I make Macaroni salad either adding turkey breast or ham cubes and cheese with lots of colorful vegies.
Thanks for the tip!
Tuned in from a parking garage in downtown Nashville!
So kind!! How fun, thanks!
I happen to be eating a tuna sandwich as I watch this. I don't like mayonnaise so I use RANCH DRESSING fortuna salad instead of mayonnaise -- gives it a good flavor 🙂
I came up with this idea when I didn't have any mayonnaise but I had Chick-fil-A condiments in my fridge 😜
Oh Ranch sounds perfect!
What a clever idea!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for another great video. My favorite hot weather meal is a BLT sandwich with a side of applesauce.
Thanks, so very much!
Hi Emmy & Paul I like to do a charcuterie board for dinner when it's hot. It's a nice light dinner then maybe some ice cream, pudding or jello for dessert. TFS ☮️💜
Oh yes, one of our faves!
Hot weather meal, I love a good watermelon cut up in chunks
Yes, love that!
So good!
I love sandwiches when the weather is warm, especially egg salad sandwiches. Also, veggies and dip are a favourite. I like to make a ranch dip with sour cream and fresh herbs from my garden.
Yes, simple but delicious!
We still live in our first home that is 1200 square foot 46 years later. Paid it off pretty early. Debt free and both me and husband are still working full time at 65. We may retire in a year or two. I hope we can enjoy our retirement as much as you and Paul do. Love your channel.
Thanks so much, Debbie!
Thank you for the pretty cardinal and pics!
You are so welcome!
I'm still in my starter house after 46 years here in California. First with my first husband that passed on and our son and now with my second husband. The house is small but just right for us.
Isn't that wonderful!
I sometimes add arugula as well.
that sounds soooo good!
Perfection, Nyssa!
You inspire and motivate us so much to be able to retire at 55. We have saved well and taken cared of big expenses. I always love Paul’s taste test.
That's so wonderful! Good for you!
Love that, Judy! Sounds like so much fun!
Hi Emmy/Paul:
Taco Salad is a yummy cool alternative for a meal. Just put the cold taco meat over a salad with some tortilla straps for crunch add ranch dressing and voila!
Sounds great!
Never understood why people use French dressing or Russian dressing. It’s too sweet for my taste. I mix sour cream with a little taco seasoning blend and that’s my dressing.
I just love all of your videos! It feels like I’m going to visit a good friend.
Thank you so much! That means a lot!
The container garden was an absolute delight to see. :) ❤
So kind, thank you, Katherine!
I love your videos! My parents grew up in the great depression also but they were spenders not savers....I learned a lot though. I decided not to make their mistakes. I learned it late in my life but I am trying to be frugal and am re evaluating my priorities... Stuff is no longer important... Have a beautiful day
You as well, thank you!
Gazpacho, potato salad or pasta salad, poached eggs on toast with mashed avocado, caprese or Greek salad.😋
Sounds great!
Peanut butter and banana sandwiches or peanut butter or grape sandwiches. No heating up the kitchen .
YUM!
I have always used stocking for tying plants. I get them for Pennie’s at garage and estate sales. Plus the very top makes a perfect pony tail holder been doing that since the 80’s 😂
Great tip!
Hot dogs, beans and buy the giant salad mix and vary chopoed veggies to go in it,Also rice is great w that tuna recipie replace the noodles and rice cookers take less heat. Thanks for your ideas!
Thanks for the tips!
Made a big mistake this week. Went to make chicken stock with all my scraps the other night. Put everything in the slow-cooker and went to bed. Got up in the morning and realized that I had forgotten to plug it in,😢. One of my favorite hot weather meals is ham pasta salad, so good.
Oh I am so sorry! UGH!
An affluent friend told me once that before I put a dollar of mine into someone elses hand question whether I needed it or not. Great piece of advice.
Love that!
So smart, Vicki! Our electric company always charges the same day or night UGH!
Oh a beach home! How lovely!
Yes, that's the ay to do it! Prep!
Oops forgot to add that i also Luv potato salad 🥗 🥔 w little mayo and mustard and a tad dill!! 😋
Love it!!
When it’s so hot outside we love to have a simple cucumber or tomato sandwich. Just bread, mayo and cucumber or tomato.
So good!
Delicious! Do you ever add a slice of cheese?
My go to meal for a hot day...toasted tomato sandwiches with salt, pepper and mayo..... so good.
How is it toasted? And is it toasted with the tomatoes & mayo on the bread?
YUM!
My childhood summer staple ... waiting for local farm tomatoes ... Yum
Make the same dish with canned chicken instead of tuna, I make sun tea and eat fresh veggies from my garden with cream cheese and a canned meat or hard-boiled eggs. No muss no fuss no extra heat in the house.
Perfect!
I would add a little frozen peas to your tuna salad, yum
I make this at least twice a month during the summer. We love it so I usually make enough for two meals and a couple of lunches. Also add a bit of paprika to the mayo/lemon juice.
That's a great idea!
Loved your channel and wisdom. I have been watching you and listening since I retired. God Bless you and Paul. I asked my daughter and her husband to watch your channel they are in their 30’s and told them to listen again this is a valuable channel
What a compliment! Thank you, Maritza!
YAY! Now, that's the way to do it!
Emmy, you know you had me at the NMB photos! 😂 These 7 tips were such good tips! Y’all’s container garden is amazing & what a good idea Paul had to design the watering system to keep the plants hydrated while y’all were here in the Carolinas! Loved this video!
Karen, I am so thrilled to see you post more! We have been praying... God Bless!
@@FrugalMoneySaver happy to post when I can!! Thanks again for the prayers. They truly do help! God Bless!
Sounds great!
Chickpeas in a salad are so delicious! And they have calcium and iron as well as protein
Every summer my mother would make the most delicious summer meal. Macaroni salad, French bread, and watermelon, and corn on the cob, Loved it!
Love that! Fresh corn is wonderful!
One of my favorite cold meals is, chicken pasta salad. Mine.
Recipe:
Box of tri color Cork screw pasta
Seasoned, cooked chicken breast, no bone or skin. Chopped up.
Add in,
Sliced banana peppers
Black and or green olives
Sunflower seeds
Fried cranberries, yum,
Tiny grape tomatoes, cut in half
And the dressing is
Zesty Italian wishbone salad dressing.
This sounds delicious, thanks for sharing!
So kind of you to share that! Thank you!
Aren't salads great this time of year!
Cold tuna pasta salad has always been my family's go-to for hot weather eating. I also made a cold ham pasta salad with diced ham I had in the freezer.
That sounds great!
I am 56 in October God willing five years latter same furniture same clothes good simple good life we're I prioritise live within my means count our blessings yes cooking at home❤❤
Absolutely!
Emmi- a easy trick i learned many years ago is to grate the hard boiled eggs. They grate in seconds & every piece is the same size.
Clever! Thanks!
Omg that tuna pasta looks soooo good!!
It really is!
Hubby and I are still in our starter home (1200 sq feet) 34 years later. Hubby moved some of our money into a high yield savings account that is making money for us. We usually grill burgers or chicken or salmon.
Wonderful!
Yes! Exactly.
When it's hot, I drink a lot of water or homemade iced tea.
I eat very little in hot weather.
Yes, we agree!
YAY! Love that you moved into your forever home! Wonderful!
Thanks for sharing your choices that made it possible for you both to retire early. Your tuna pasta salad looked delicious! Have a blessed day!
You as well, thank you!
Hey Paul and Emmy! Not to be nosy but what jobs did you and Paul retire from. Retirement is such a blessing after teaching 24.+years. I’m a widow so I don’t cook a lot but the crockpot is a dear friend.
I was wondering the same!
Paul was a Foreman for a local town municipality. I taught computer technology in an elementary school.
This video will answer a lot of your questions
th-cam.com/video/lKoi7cWRREw/w-d-xo.html
Paul, why do you think your pumpkins don’t do well in the garden? I’m trying pumpkins this year.
I like to eat orange and yellow peppers like an apple with ranch dressing. Quick and very delicious!😊
Anything with Ranch is the best lol!
In summer, I'm happy with any meal that I am using fresh produce from my garden in. I did a vegetable lo mein tonight.
Yes, sounds wonderful!
Thank you for the beautiful pictures. Loved the ocean and the bird.
Glad you enjoyed it!
❤❤❤😮😮😮😊😊😊 Ritzi and Me send Cheer from Texas DixieBelle and Paul and Emmy ❤❤❤
Wanda and Ritzi! Sending you hugs!
Yes! I love that too!
Enjoy 😉
Sounds great!
...I FINALLY cut the cable cord!!! Thanks for helping me do that. I also got a new deal on my internet, paying 2/3 less!!! Now, I am taking stock of my food choices...after that gets mastered...the sky is the limit!
YAY!!! Toni, that is wonderful! I guarantee you won't even miss cable!
Every situation is different! You are tight you can always add on if you need to...
Then chop up a water melon into chunks pour over the onions soaked in lime with the juice, add a handful of mint leaves and parsley and cubed feta cheese maybe some pea shoots too mix together and oh my goodness its delicious! xx
Oh goodness that sounds good!
I’ll try that!! Taking a screenshot now. The potato chips would replenish the salt we lose when we sweat.
Lovely video. One of my favorite summer meals is just a simple cucumber, tomato and onion salad with a vinaigrette dressing. I could eat it every day.
Great idea!
High temps here, too. A cool salad is perfect for supper! Glad you enjoyed your trip to SC❤
Yes, thank you!
Tuna or chicken pasta is my go to meal when it’s hot. Now I know what I’m making for dinner this weekend. 😊
So yummy!
Cold potato soup and cold tomato soup.
Yum!
All though I eat a lot of meal salads through out the summer I do use my crockpot too. However, I put the crockpot outside on the deck.
That's a smart idea!
Your channel still remains a favorite. Thank you for all that you do.
Thank you for the encouragement.
So glad you are back !! Taco salad is a family favorite at our house in the summer ! I make my own dressing for it ...equal parts of vinegar , sugar , ketchup, oil yum !!
Alice, sounds great!
I like to add some frozen peas to this type of salad -- delicious with the tuna. If I let it sit I just fold them in, if I'm eating it right away I run cool water over them first to thaw.
Great idea!
Perfect! Sounds good!
coleslaw, potato salad, chickensalad
YUM!
A tip. Boil the eggs in with the egg noodles. 😊
Sounds wonderful!
Thanks for your channel I love seeing you both ❤
Thank you so much!
Chicken Salad sandwhiches
Yum!
Great tips!
Thanks so much!
Such a loving and kind comment as always, Amelia! Thank you! The Lord's blessings be upon you and yours!
I like to do cold plates. Everything from veggies, homemade hummus, and naan to deviled eggs, cheese and crackers w/ fruit, or an antipasto platter. Easy to do and cold for hot days.
So good!
Sounds good!
