Big question! Is the 'edge detection' based upon the recognition of planes or other well defined features? I ask because features such as "corners" do not exist in reality. A corner is the intersection of two planes. So in performing 'edge detection'; are you measuring the planar features directly?
I use one of them and i don't like the guiding software. It is not confortable for a simple action you should do a lot of clicks the path is too long for elementary things it is just not userfriendly and that costs time money and putting so.much amount of.force in something easy by default. The support is also awful just search for another supplier of equipment.
