It felt very relatable 😍. Plus shopping these store helps local economies, helps the charity they support, and keeps wonderful clothing out of landfills. I could see this being a monthly content piece for you. ♥️
The fact that one can find such nice clothes indicates that people are giving their clothes to these stores and not just selling them online, which makes me happy.
It makes me happy when people sell things online because I can find what I want for a great price and I don’t have to leave my house. The thrift stores around me are terrible.
When I was in 8th grade my neighbor was in her late 40's and she was so classy and I was absolutely enthralled by her!!! She was the epitome of sophistication and pure class!!! She taught me to always have the basic colors of navy, black, white, cream and brown in pants, blazer, sweaters, shoes and skirts or suits. She worked in the big city and we lived over an hour away in the country. I looked up to her so much! I learned about fashion and trendy items and how to get the best for your money. She let me borrow anything I wanted to wear! Spending money on them solid sturdy classic pieces will be worth it in the end!!! She never used the term "capsule wardrobe" but that's what it was!!!! All I can say is wow Dominique, yes we definitely need a part two. I am an avid thrift shopper. Some of my finds range from cashmere sweaters to 1960’s era vintage coats. My favorite find is an original navy pea coat with the sailors name in it and his date of birth which was 1942, from a thrift store in Greenwich New York over twenty years ago.

I introduced my granddaughters 14 and 22 to Thrift stores a few years ago. At first, they were not the least interested in going. But once I got them there - they were hooked!!! I also volunteer with a small group that provides prom dresses to girls that can not afford them. We shop the thrift stores for our inventory- we find such a wide range of sizes for the girls to select from. It's so rewarding for your own soul but it's beyond emotional to see the girls look in the mirror and see just how beautiful they are. And keeping in mind these gorgeous gowns came from a thrift store!!

My son's college roommate is from Houston and was with us here in Omaha over holiday break for a few days. His dad owns thrift stores in Texas and now Arizona. It was so interesting to hear about some of the great things his dad has collected over the years. He said leather and denim are huge sellers.
If you don’t thrift you are missing out. I have done it for 25 years and I won’t stop…always find something amazing. My 20 year old twin daughters are thrifters now too. Creates a lifetime of savings that you can put towards other things in your budget. Great episode.
This video was fabulous! I am a plus size woman and take very good care of my clothes! I give them away when I buy new ones! Clothes are very expensive especially plus size! But doesn’t everyone deserve to look beautiful ❤️

I have always thrifted and visited consignment stores since I was a barely middle-class kid who went to a very exclusive private school. Even now, I still do it. Once, I found a Chanel top for $10! Now, my daughter loves thrifting, for the thrill of it and for environmental reasons. My husband is baffled (although he gets the environmental part)! lol

I've thought many times about doing videos like this and showing people what they can get and do with previously owned clothes, save money AND the planet! I am so glad you did this video, so FUN! I really like you with your darker hair. Your facial features, strong cheekbones, and brows look more prominent, to me, with your darker hair color. Your darker hair color is shining and had great bounce.
I started buying used clothes in a store in Sweden I often when I go in I find something. Its cool to feel like I can use my money like that and not only buy new things.
The oversized fuchsia coat looks 'cool' just like that. Personally, I'd only alter the sleeves. Also I love your hair curly but (as someone with equally curly and processed hair) it needs more moisture. I use the nice cheap and cheerful 'Aussie Moist' conditioner in the shower, rinse it out and then put a pea sized back in half way down the shaft only. Then use a 'bit' of any mousse and either diffuse, or let dry naturally. The curls will look softer and more defined. And finally, LOVE the up cycling! Great example for us all! TY!

Quick story, I was getting married and couldn't find a dress that I liked, I had gone to my local Reshop and I found a new with tags ($780.00) dress for $60.00!!! it was gorgeous! YES, please do a part 2!!! Better yet, make a regular feature! This was so fun!!! Everything you put on was amazing! Honestly, I never used to shop thrift but the last few years, I have become obsessed. How could I not have been doing this for years? (We are the same age). Shame on me!! I have found some of most outstanding pieces; some new with tags, some second hand and some vintage…quality you just can’t find anymore. It’s become the best treasure hunt. I think in the past year, I’ve only purchased maybe half a dozen brand new items retail. Crazy, right? I’m never going full retail again. Likewise, I have cleaned out my closet and donated to a couple of local thrift shops that give so much back to the community. It’s a win win. Plus, it’s a great feeling to purge giving me more space and I don’t feel guilty if I pick up something while in there. I’ve also been able to thrift for my home as well. Amazing vintage items, dishware, etc. Please consider doing a video on home items as well. The money I’ve saved vs the money I’ve spent the last couple of years is ridiculous. Your haul today is proof of that. Well done!!!

Am a thrifter myself since i can imagine and often go to thrift stores to unwind and de-stress. Retail therapy has become therapeutic for me and it addresses my fashionista side. Reshopping should be the first thing any woman learns about shopping from her “shopping momma” (whom ever that may be) I live on Long Island but was raised in Queens and worked in Manhattan but had not found the joy of thrift boutiques until my DAUGHTER started shopping with her friends. We now post Covid are back, finding the FINDS for my grandchildren a boy turning 4 and my precious granddaughter turning one in May. My cup over flowith. I introduced my granddaughters 14 and 22 to Thrift stores a few years ago. At first, they were not the least interested in going. But once I got them there - they were hooked!!! I also volunteer with a small group that provides prom dresses to girls that can not afford them. We shop the thrift stores for our inventory- we find such a wide range of sizes for the girls to select from. It's so rewarding for your own soul but it's beyond emotional to see the girls look in the mirror and see just how beautiful they are. And keeping in mind these gorgeous gowns came from a thrift store!!

My son's college roommate is from Houston and was with us here in Omaha over holiday break for a few days. His dad owns thrift stores in Texas and now Arizona. It was so interesting to hear about some of the great things his dad has collected over the years. He said leather and denim are huge sellers.
If you don’t thrift you are missing out. I have done it for 25 years and I won’t stop…always find something amazing. My 20 year old twin daughters are thrifters now too. Creates a lifetime of savings that you can put towards other things in your budget. Great episode.

I am a plus size woman and take very good care of my clothes! I give them away when I buy new ones! Clothes are very expensive especially plus size! But doesn’t everyone deserve to look beautiful ❤️
I love that that sweet woman handed off her find to you when it didn't work for her! I have always thrifted and visited consignment stores since I was a barely middle-class kid who went to a very exclusive private school. Even now, I still do it. Once, I found a Chanel top for $10! Now, my daughter loves thrifting, for the thrill of it and for environmental reasons. My husband is baffled (although he gets the environmental part)! lol

Love this so much! I barely shop retail anymore.When I go thrifting somehow I come across the best stuff for the best prices. I've thought many times about doing videos like this and showing people what they can get and do with previously owned clothes, save money AND the planet! I am so glad you did this video, so FUN!

I really like you with your darker hair. Your facial features, strong cheekbones, and brows look more prominent, to me, with your darker hair color. Your darker hair color is shining and had great bounce.
I started buying used clothes in a store in Sweden I often when I go in I find something. Its cool to feel like I can use my money like that and not only buy new things.
The oversized fuchsia coat looks 'cool' just like that. Personally, I'd only alter the sleeves. Also I love your hair curly but (as someone with equally curly and processed hair) it needs more moisture. I use the nice cheap and cheerful 'Aussie Moist' conditioner in the shower, rinse it out and then put a pea sized back in half way down the shaft only. Then use a 'bit' of any mousse and either diffuse, or let dry naturally. The curls will look softer and more defined. And finally, LOVE the up cycling! Great example for us all! TY!

Quick story, I was getting married and couldn't find a dress that I liked, I had gone to my local Reshop and I found a new with tags ($780.00) dress for $60.00!!! it was gorgeous! Everything you put on was amazing! Honestly, I never used to shop thrift but the last few years, I have become obsessed. How could I not have been doing this for years? (We are the same age). Shame on me!! I have found some of most outstanding pieces; some new with tags, some second hand and some vintage…quality you just can’t find anymore. It’s become the best treasure hunt. I think in the past year, I’ve only purchased maybe half a dozen brand new items retail. Crazy, right? I’m never going full retail again. Likewise, I have cleaned out my closet and donated to a couple of local thrift shops that give so much back to the community. It’s a win win. Plus, it’s a great feeling to purge giving me more space and I don’t feel guilty if I pick up something while in there. I’ve also been able to thrift for my home as well. Amazing vintage items, dishware, etc.
Please consider doing a video on home items as well.
The money I’ve saved vs the money I’ve spent the last couple of years is ridiculous. Your haul today is proof of that. Well done!!!

Am a thrifter myself since i can imagine and often go to thrift stores to unwind and de-stress. Retail therapy has become therapeutic for me and it addresses my fashionista side. Kudos to all these thrift stores for bringing in more goods than one can imagine. This is truly my happy place. So glad that Dominique Sasche is sharing this side of her to her followers like me.

I am an avid thrift store, consigment shopper. I love it when I can buy myself a pair of pants, top and bag for $24. Thank you for reminding people that looking good doesn't have to cost a lot of money. And recycling is good for the environment.
I’ve been a thrifty and consignment shopper for years! I have a friend that used to look down on it, until I’d clean out my closet and she would get great stuff she had complimented me on, and when I told her it was from a thrift store… she was convinced and converted 😁 I LOVE a great find!

I live on Long Island but was raised in Queens and worked in Manhattan but had not found the joy of thrift boutiques until my DAUGHTER started shopping with her friends.
We now post Covid are back, finding the FINDS for my grandchildren a boy turning 4 and my precious granddaughter turning one in May. My cup over flowith.
