@mojiitek you are in the process of designing an assault ship why not build a ship based on logistics something that can carry heavy cargo but be manned by one person.
@@chrislrogel I like it, most of the stuff I make is designed to be manned by one person. And making a ship that can carry containers I assume would need a ramp of sorts with a container lifter to move containers from and to dock right?
Awesome video! Is there a rule of thumb to calculate how many boilers you can run with a given number of rods and how many turbines you can power with a set number of boilers that you know of?
Short answer is no, need to power more boilers? Raise water temp. Need to feed more turbines? Run the boiler hotter. Heat = Steam, More heat, more steam, more water needed etc. So you can pretty much scale it however you want. As long as your turbines are running at 60atm your good. If your getting less work you way backwards to find the bottleneck. I usually run 5-7 turbines per boiler, never seen an issue. But you can chain 22 of them in series, but it will take hella long to get running :D
@@mojiitek Awesome! Thanks so much! Would love to see you build a nuclear sub with this reactor! Also have you tried vertically launched missiles? Would be a nice addition to your attack ship
I might do a sub build, thing is that despite building, the gameplay after is a bit mediocre. I might try the deeper oceans and crush mod, could be a fun little series :D
I had never considered feeding the fuel rods horizontally before, that will compact my own micro reactors considerably! Great work!
No #1 space saver you can do :) With the contact sensor and the track trigger, it's super easy :D
Cool, I think my next ship will be nuclear power
Nuclear is cool, but also, a bit slow to get going. So just consider having some electric motors and batteries to get you going.
I might do that to
I love this concept
Thank you, let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see :)

@@mojiitek absolutely the best part is being able to double stack containers if possible I'm curious to see what you come up with.
@ I’ll put it on the list 👍

you said that this reactor will be in the workshop, is it possible to link to it?
steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3355969621 - here you go :D
How do you replace the rods?
Simple, you don't. Realistically, add a door and a connector to the rods :D
