@@gearnighthang I purchased the dream 65 from amazon, but am really pulled towards the flexibilty and mystique of the enigmatic and in my heart, that's the one I want. Probably time to send it back as im within 30 days lol Interesting to see you both prefer the Enigmatic in general
You came to the same conclusion I did. It’s very Fendery, but a bit more. I would recommend messing with the app, that’s how you’ll be able to dial in a drive tone you like. Save that or your clean as you favorite and then you’ve got a great 2 channel amp. I tried the UA stuff to make my practice setup easy and ended up with the Enigmatic on one board, Lion on the other.
Really enjoyed this. Could you possibly do an Amp Sim mega battle? Like a Simplifier X, vs an ACS1 MKII, vs a Tonex for example. Have not seen anyone at all do this at all with their latest updates and releases, and I think it would help everyone trying to decide from these pedals!
Thoughts one the UA pedals vs Tonex? This video got me curious enough to go buy a Dream 65 and I quickly found it to be much more pleasing than any of the Fender captures I had in my Tonex.
Oh man I’m going through this right now. I think the tonex can sound incredible especially with great captures, but I really don’t like their computer interface and how everything integrates. So I end up using UA stuff more right now. Because it sounds good is consistent and easy to use.
You guys gotta listen to Wolf Alice, their guitarist Joff is a guitar mastermind. Great rig rundown with his touring board, and their records are phenomenal. Check out My Love Is Cool
First time I've seen your channel and - I get that it's a part of your channel style but - the sine-wave cutaways are REALLY annoying. Given how many guitarists have tinnitus problems you may want to rethink blasting them unexpectedly with high-pitched sound.
@ I don't need to have my ears checked, I know I have hearing sensitivity. I'm just letting the channel editor know that something like that will be a dealbreaker for myself and a surprising number of others. What they do with that information is up to them.
I have them both these petals and I have a quickly returned or sold both these petals and got my money back the bottom line is is that or not at least the dream is not terrible but you can duplicate that with 10,000 other paddles sorry and I just don’t like the manufacturer I think they suck but the enigmatic is another story that is a POS that is a method is a fake BS pedal that’s trying to sell you on something that is fake to begin with the Dumble amp is an over priced over bragged about highly contested and that if you have on few have played but everyone seems to think it’s the greatest around wake up
Just wanted to drop a comment to say that this has quickly become my favorite guitar channel.
Thanks man! Really appreciate that!
OMG I have been waiting for this for so long. You’re the first to do an in depth comparison. Bravo.
Intro song slaps btw
Thank you!!

Giving the people what they want!
I have the Lion and the Enigmatic. The cleans on the Lion are beautiful. Worth a shootout.
Agreed! I've been rocking the lion and enigmatic in stereo on my board recently
I also have the Lion and I’ve been thinking to get the Enigmatic. Which one do you prefer clean to use with external drive pedals?

I already have the Dream 65 for clean tones. Debating on buying this one because i just want it haha.
Haha I know that feeling! It’s a solid pedal for sure
Really enjoyed this.

Thanks for watching! I don’t have the simplifier or acs1 anymore but I’ll see what I can do
I want to see this too. Specifically the Simplifier X vs the ASC1 MKII vs the Iridium.
Hey, I used that same stock photo on your Single cover for a brochure I just did! 🤯
Great minds think alike haha

love the bass tone! wanna know how u got it! i got a p bass too
Thank you! The signal chain is cali76 bass comp, microsynth, original dcx boost, tone hammer w/ the ags engaged
@@gearnighthang love it! thank you sooooo much! helps a lot
Have you used the dream and enigmatic in stereo? Are they in phase or are you reversing the polarity with like a diso?
Hey I have used them in stereo. I believe they are out of phase, but I can't remember 100%.
@@gearnighthang Latest firmware for Dream says it flipped the polarity to be in phase with the other amps, probably in phase now
Now, do the clean channel on the Knuckles vs. The Egnigmatic.
Need to get my hands on the knuckles! Then we will for sure

I may have missed it in the video but are you running all of the effects straight into the Enigmatic or are any post?
Yep I'm running everything into the front of the amps for this video
I still love the Dream. I've got both and think that they are both great but the Dream will be the last pedal that leaves my board.
seems to me like you just need to cut the bass on the dream a bit and then bump up the volume a little to compensate
what board is that pedalboard? curious about the size
It's a pedaltrain classic 3 I believe. The one that is 24x16. In a live in case by creation music co
But how about the Lion, are we keeping that? 🥺
Oh don’t worry lol I’ve actually been running the lion and the enigmatic in stereo recently. It’s pretty epic
@ that’s gonna break the internet!
Are you guys preferring this over ToneX?
I’m just using it instead of tonex because I like the user interface more, not because one sounds better.
came for the pedal comparison. stayed for the drug church riffs.
Same lol
The one with tubes 😢
Play fat bottom girls
You got it 🫡

You have control over your own volume pussy
I like the sine-wave cutaways which doesn't bother my ears at all. If it bothers yours you should get your ears checked out.
