Since there is no pvp, no other divers factions in game, there's just no way to bring it beyond role-play and drip. Chaosdivers group are not about griefing, never were and never will be. Team-killers that are claiming they're chaosdivers are just using it's name and are not welcome anywhere among Chaosdivers groups.

As a representative of the TRUE Chaosdivers, I can assure you our fight is with High Command and not our brother and sister Divers beside us on the field. We do not spill the blood of our own, and those who do are nothing but lowlife, cowardly criminals acting alone and they do not represent us or our mission.
I hope more Chaos Divers fall in line with that!
What exactly does a typical Chaosdiver mission look like? Do you just go out of bounds repeatedly?
It goes like any other mission. The main goal is to ignore the major orders and let super earth fall. We don’t kill fellow divers them being from hell or chaos for we all are victims of super earth elites uncaring and greedy taking the glorious bravery and support of divers for granted.

I don't kill my brothers and sisters in battles. I stopped defending against Automatons. I want to see Super Earth Burn.
Arrowhead has betrayed us, the players, enough. Let the bots take super earth. Let the nids roam free. I'm done. While I could just spam assignments and abandon them to force a ton of losses, I'm not going to give Arrowhead the satisfaction of seeing my numbers on the board. This is just gonna be another peice of woke trash in the garbage bin of history at this rate.

“Yeah, I used to be a diver. Was defrosted towards the beginning of the second war. One of the first ones to drop in.
Those were the days. It was a blood bath, but the weapons and gear we had were top notch.
But then things started to change, even though we were completing missions, high command began to make erratic changes to our gear.
Made it cheaper, lower quality. Made it more unreliable.
I stuck with it for a bit, tried to make things work, but the quality just continued to drop. We were still doing the extremely difficult missions, then those missions became impossible. And we still managed to succeed!
We thought it would cause high command to revert the changes they made, but it only encouraged them to make more cuts.
Finally I had enough. All the hard work I’ve put in. The blood sweat and tears. Wading chest deep through rivers of Oil and big guts. All of it was for nothing.
I heard about there being a splinter group, a few dozen turncoats that began fighting for their fellow divers rather than Supper Earth. I was tempted to join them, but in the end I realized I had joined the Corp to save supper earth, to be more than myself, to fight for a cause.
I realized that I joining those rebels would be the same as turning my back on my home.
I can’t bring myself to actively fight my fellow Hell Divers, not bring myself to play a hand in Super Earths down fall.
Many have called my coward. But I simply do not care anymore. I put the rest of the ships crew in cyro, and took the ship to the outskirts. Found a moon, many others have joined me.
We train, we prepare, we wait for the day when Super Earth recognizes the mistakes they’ve made. And when those errors are corrected, we will return.”

Starting to get tired of every other YT HD2 video talking about Chaosdivers without doing any research. Griefers are bad players not Chaosdivers. Chaosdivers whole idea is to RP at reddit etc and ingame just ignore anything MO or mission that would protect Super Earth from burning to the ground. Currently that means fighting only bugs and letting bots get to Super Earth.
Hard to agree with you when there are photos and videos of players gunning down their team and calling out stuff like "Death to Super Earth"

Anyone can do bad things in the name of something, that doesn't mean they are a representative of that something. And griefers, being the type of gamers that they are, will find any excuse to ruin other people's gameplay. They don't care why. That said, the people who started the chaosdivers movement, and the majority of those participating in it, have disavowed anyone who team kills.

I just retired from it. Probably not coming back. There's going to be games coming out that will sell me guns that won't get nerfed 2 months after I got used to them, because by Arrowheads own admission the weapon wasn't tested enough. Done with that nonsense. Other games will figure out how to do that. I can wait. Now I just watch this ship sinking. Neither sad nor happy about it for many reasons.

As the Wandering Reapers SRT or SOS Response Team (I do videos for their channel), we had an instance of two "Chaos Divers" in a match and boy was it hilarious.
One of them hasn't a "true" Chaos Diver and killed a lot of thd civillians and other teammates while the other one gunned him down after reinforcing the rest of us saying: "You're no Chaos Diver. You're a Traitor to us Helldivers." Then proceeded to throw a 500kg on the corpse before getting into the Pelican with the rest of us.
Sounds like some Hydra level antics there!

This whole situation is getting out of control. Arrowhead has until October until Space Marine 2, and Starship Troopers Eradication take their playerbase. Hopefully by then they'll figure themselves out, because I'd hate to see this game lose to many Divers before being able to realize it's maximum potential.
Space Marine 2 is going to be big, as far as I played Starship Troopers that game sort of fell off.

At this point. If people are hellbent on playing as chaosdivers. The most respectful way i could see of that happening is if they give at least like a heads up before the mission. Run away from everyone and wait for a few minutes. Then tell them "Chaosdivers have arrived" Or something along that line. Wait a little longer than you can fight if you really want. At least then they have a heads up and some time to complete the mission before you just gun them the hell down
You know I was thinking about how cool it would be if there was an option to stay loyal to super earth or go rogue. Rather than it being pvp, it’s simply a matter of getting gear, outfits and skills that is exclusive your side.

We the Chaosdivers have a rule set. First, Chaosdivers do not TK. Helldivers are mindless victims to the corrupt SE regime that led them astray. Those that do TK are not Chaosdivers, they are griefers tarnishing our cause. Second, Chaosdivers will assist in objectives and securing samples. Even Chaosdivers needs resources to continue our cause. Lastly, Chaosdivers do not follow the Major Order. If SE High Command orders the Helldivers to the bot front, then Chaosdivers will redeploy to bug front. If SE High Command orders the Helldivers to the bug front, then Chaosdivers are redeployed to the bot front. In the event the MO is a generic objective like collecting samples, then Chaosdivers will ignore rule 3 as rule 2 is of higher priority.

To say most of us are smashing out the MO, With 3k of us in a space jungle holding back the bots whilst the other half of the playerbase have entered their emo phase. I'd say we're doing pretty good!
Its not even chaos diver that are the problem i just get greifers that kill you to take you samples then revive you only to kill you before extraction. I play solo most of the time because i cant deal with the bs teamkillers and greifers

Though I agree with you, I also believe having a rebelion in this case of lore just makes sense, if the company actually cared they'd make sure to add the rebelion as a mechanic to the game. Just go ahead and let them fight. But, as I've said, and you aswell, "chaosdivers" have the right to do something about the company's bad scheeming of the game. If the players want to take that path sacrifices will have to be made.
technically the Automatons are the creations of rebels, in the first galactic war there where those who shunned managed democracy. They were exiled where they began to replace flesh machinery, they became Cyborgs. Now all these years later their flags fly over the Automaton forces.

I can understand the chaosdivers feeling about it, and no, it's just not the players looking for an excuse. We did not see this kind of thing happening when the game was great
One of the great thing about HD2 is the community,
and the thing that ruins it is the devs.
Let say for example:
When a game Discord/forum become a toxic place, the root cause will almost always be player dissatisfaction.
"Dev is fixing it in 60 days"
Looking at another perspective, they can save and allocate 60 days for expanding/bug-fixing the game if not for their own nonsense.
Also, I would like to see Superarth maps/biome.

@@DisIngRaM Good points made here, I sit in the camp that this is still a good game, not as good as before but these mistakes they made take time to fix, dev work takes a long time and I am willing to wait to give them a chance. For all we know the flame particle upgrade was just supposed to make them feel better to use and accidentally nerfed them. On the flip side maybe they wanted it nerfed, either way they will either dig themself deeper or fix the issues, I also doubt there is a pre made super earth biome.
Chaos Divers are not killing helldivers those are called Griefers.

The whole chaos divers thing is kind of cool. I’m not a big fan of pvp but if others enjoy ok. All I ask is to not grief others and team kill. The player base has dropped dramatically since launch. Not a good idea to push more players out.

I tried Foxhole and was really confused, all I did was run supplies around in a truck. I did enjoy it but had no idea what to do. I really like Hell Let Loose but im worried to record it due to so many randoms being in voice chat.

Team killing has always been a problem since the steam community outright declared war on all ps players after the ps account linking fiasco and im sry but having a game that has multiple difficulty settings....should not have a quick play option

I was honestly going to become a chaos diver myself not because I’m upset but just as an excuse to troll like you mentioned 😂 but after some consideration I’ve realized there’s no point in punishing other players just like myself for playing the game. If it was a game dev or perhaps the individual who changed the fire visuals, then THEY can get the whole grief package.
You could always Chaos Dive in ways that doesn't hurt the other players. Go up to a charger and exclaim you're going to pet it and when you die call out this was one small step for Chaos Divers and toward the end up Super Earth Government.
