The timing of this video is amazing...just today I was trying to figure out what the difference was between the old and new packaging and was tempted to go the older ones because they were clearing out a bit cheaper but this video has totally changed my mind. I love do conversions so the more bits the better! Thanks for the awesome video Sup3r!!!
i like that u with the new set can make every possible combination u want, and the sergeant bits can easily be used to make another sergeant or captain or even a character model if u wish so. realy like it when a box gives alot of extra bits ^^

They're called Space Marines to show they're generic Space Marines and not Blood Angels etc. The website and dexes use the same distinction. They're all adeptus astartes, but these guys are the standard marines which use the standard codex.
Really wish I bought this instead of the long fangs box now, the molds just look janky and theyre a pain in the arse to assemble, the sprues for this pack looks amazing. Not to mention the poses compared to the normal ones. Bugger

I think you mentioned it in your Reaver titan vid. If not then it would just ve logical to have it after the Devs cause they came around the same time. Or I am just guessing :)

Blades and 40k in the same video! How awesome is that?!? It's been three years or better for me. None of our group has bought the last edition rules and we're all still playing our armies just fine. Also none of us re-subscribed to their now P.o.S magazine (read: catalog) White Dwarf. It used to be awesome with articles and tutorials, but now it's just crap. I have three armies (Chaos [all 4 factions], Dk. Eldar and Nydz) and none of them are small. GW is slowly cutting their own throat with their tactics. At least here in my part of the USA. It's sad to see that there are no "beginner" sets anymore. There are plenty of other games on the market too that you can get into for less than half the cost & none of the work (which we all love), so I don't see them broadening the customer base like they used to. Now that my rant is over, I really like what you do here Sir! P.S. Can't wait to see them painted!

i am going Devastator lascanons and missile launchers for my havoc's because gw still haven't got better box of havoc's at least the the old Devastator box had 8 heavy weapons. havoc's got four :( ( i play dark angel and chaos :)
So many issues with this set... - Mine didn't have a 25mm base for the cherub - 5 bases when you can make 6 Marines - If you follow the instructions, they list the wrong numbers for the arms of the Grav Marines - Ultramarine only transfers - wtf is this all about?
yo guys a family friend and my godfather passed a while ago and i just found that i was left his figures collection, my dad says its about 1k pounds, I'm very confused. its made of a few boxes and they are a mix of kinda recent and stuff that ages almost back to 1990's and 1980's xD can you guys either tell me how to sell them or even just tell me selling tips because i have no fricken clue of how to sell these bad boys xD i have to keep the little ginger one though to help me remember him, i loved him lots but don't say sorry because he died a few years ago and i don't want to get sad. he was positive and brilliantly nerdy so i thought i would post this comment once i saw this come up on my subscriptions feed :D any help is appreciated I'm only 14 so sorry for grammar

TBH, "Space Marine" sounds a lot dumber than Adeptus Astartes, even if it's pig latin. Marines, by definition and etymology, are called such because they deploy overseas. A space-based expeditionary force would not be called "marines", that's just stupid. Space is not an ocean, even in Warhammer. So, no Space Navies, and no Space Boats.

I am currently using a Voss-Incarnadine Pattern Heavy Bolter from the 30k war for one of my 40k Devastators of the Ultramarines faction.
Good shout about the kit bash. Iv taken your advice and bashed the tactical squad with this set and it's saved me a fair bit of cash.
i recommend combi flamers on the leaders because it just makes people more reluctant to charge you

Depends on how much you want to spend. If you don't want to spend too much and are just starting the start collecting box set is a great start.
