Definitely a great tip! I had my shift rod just kinda thrown on there prior to this install, and he showed me the same thing. It makes a world of difference in lever feel.
I am looking into getting one of these for my bike ('12 R6) and I currently have a Z FI (fuel ignition tuning) so trying to find out if I can hook those two together, if I need something else, or this stand alone is pretty much acts like ZFI, too.
No worries, thanks for watching. We had the Hindle exhaust system on the Z125 when we shot this. You can find it here: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/hindle-evo-megaphone-black-ceramic-exhaust-kawasaki-z125-pro-2017/ - Brian Van
Can u do a video or send me a video showing how to convert that quick shifter from standard to gp shift? I have the same quickshifter on my bike but I wanna convert it to gp shift. They say you just flip it over, but I don’t know. Help me out bro!
Do you think this is a worth while upgrade for a 15+ r1. I do some drag racing here and there and id imagine the adjustable kill time being a huge advantage over oem qs sensor because oem feels a bit slow to me.
This is a good question and to be honest I do not have any real drag racing experience to give you the best answer. That said I though the OEM QS on the R1 could be adjusted a little??? I sold mine a year ago and do not remember if that is the case. If you have drag race specific questions the best folks to answer them would be Brock's Performance or Orient Express. We do some business with Orient and they are solid - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear thank you very much! It was never brought to my attention oem had any adjustability. I go back to the dyno friday so ill ask about it. Hes the guy who does all the westby racing r1 work so if anyone knows it would be him lol.
I do prefer the Bazzaz over Power Commander. Having used both over the years I like how Bazzaz integrates everything into 1 unit rather than stacking multiple boxes in the tail. What bike are you looking to install this on? - Brian Van
Sportbike Track Gear Brian, I’d be looking at slapping it on the good old z125 pro. The bazaaz seems to be a better solution for a lot of things across the board, just no ability to make any changes to Timing.... which is fine
Tim Alcorn Thanks! Unfortunately the event was canceled because not enough people signed up (or because the competition saw I had Van wrenching on my bike for me)...there's always next time! Until then I have a bitchin' pit bike ;) RIP Peter
Tim Alcorn my Son Max did his first day on track last weekend. I thought of Peter and what happened before Max rode. Before I ever put Max on that R3 I knew in my heart he had both the maturity and ability to ride. That said I could have used a diaper for the first session he rode. There is a difference between living and being alive. God Bless Peter Lenz and his family. - Van
Right on you guys!!! Im sure Peter is smiling knowing our sports future is in capable hands! Van thats really great on your Son! Congrats to you and Max both!!! That has to be one proud moment for sure! #Forever45 #EarlsRacingTeamForLife #STG4Life
I have to say I like the way it looks better personally. Beyond that they are very similar IMO so buy the one that appeals most to you out of the box. - Van
I really cant believe you just used a scotch lock ,you do realize how those work ? They cut the insulation on the wire leaving it open to the weather , it will turn green and fail in time ,,,really disappointed to see you half assing stuff !!!!
To be clear this is what Bazzaz sullies in the kit for the install. Over time a scotch lock connector can be problematic if used in an environment that is exposed to weather. This is in a location where that exposure is not likely. If you look at many of the terminal ends on most bikes you will quickly see many are not weather pack style connectors with terminal ends and bare wire exposed to the elements on some level. End of the day this is not a whole lot different than a scotch lock. - Brian Van
You did a kick-ass job, thanks again Van! The bike is now even more fun to ride, which I didn't think was possible.
You are welcome my brother. The competition saw you had me wrenching for you so they cancelled the mini race. Next time we will keep it on the DL.
No one wanted to mess with Team STG. There's always next time!
Very professional, and entertaining. Well done. Recently received my QS4 for the 20' Hayabusa.
Thank you for watching! - Van
Brian Van has some of the most entertaining videos on youtube, keep up the great work!
Awesome vids man! Clear instructions! Keep up the amazing work man!
Mida Multitool thanks for watching! - Van
Sweet install, Might look into this for my Ninja 1000. Also great info on the 90 degree angles. Makes alot of sense.

Nicely done, through and clean install good video
Can you make a quickshifter install video on the ninja 400? Thanks Van

Yes you can run both of these units on the same bike with zero issues. - Van
That was mad, thanks for doing vids like this. Btw what exhaust was it running? Makes me want to do it to my z125

Game of thrones is the best series i ever watched
Hi Brian, should I go Bazzaz, PCV or Healtech as a standalone QS for the Z?
The Bazzaz is nice a nice part and you can use this install video for reference. - Van
Is this quick shifter still available for 2021 z125?
I would expect this to be the same system. You will need to call Bazzaz direct as they no longer sell to dealers. - Van

Hey Brian,
Do y’all prefer the bazaaz over the PCV? Trying to decide between the two
