    ANd thank you also for this video. I got into a pretty bad accident (no damage to myself) in which the front motor/rim got bent in on a certain spot (even a little chipped and broke of in fact). Had ordered the parts to replace a few days ago and have been researching this whole time to find out how to take apart the rim and thanks to you now I finally have the confidence to bring my mercane back to life. The parts are due to come in any minute now and I can't wait to get the repair going and ride again.

    it may not be pretty but putting a woodblock down and going for it does the trick (can confirm this works!)

      I did not need to save any of the motor, it was already burnt .

    I was thinking about getting one but if u have to go through that to put a new tire on forget it

      changing the tire at any scooter is very difficult because the wheel are very small.

    I am planning to buy a scooter very soon. I really like the Widewheel but I am certainly concerned about the resistance of the wheels and tires in general. How strong are they? Cheers!

    • @Xtreme23F
      @Xtreme23F  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The wheels are pretty strong, I guess it was bad luck that mine got broken. The tires are ok, they become very slippery in the rain, so you have to be very careful. The worst thing about this scooter are the breaks , especially the rear break. Overall I recommend it because I enjoy the explosiveness speed and agility. Whatever scooter you are getting, have fun!

      Besides this problem with the motor the scooter is very strong. The wheel get bend on the edges but you can ride it like that.
      The worst part with this scooter are the brakes.
      You can't really put hydraulic brakes and the mechanical ones are a joke. Because of the widewheel the brakes get dirty and they don't really function properly .
      Overall I like it, but I wish it had better brakes.

      @@Xtreme23F you can use zoom hybrid hydraulic breaks on the rear for around 30 usd. Check this link: www.google.no/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/ElectricScooters/comments/g08dbe/widewheel_zoom_xtech_brake_upgrade/

      Hey dude the tires are the worst thing about this scooter, a tiny pebble or street reflector can make you crash, or atleast shit your pants. I have found that if you lean back you can avoid it. But if there were different tires I could buy I would

    • @oneeyedrone4293
      @oneeyedrone4293 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joecl10 its def a scray ride, i think when youre going 40+ kph on anything with wheels that small its always a scary ride.
      You will soil pants on most surfaces with the widewheel, i usually avoid any mild slip situation, thats the case for most scooters so not all that surprising.

    So basically the tire is just rubber around motor casing I’d rather just get an entire new motor when tire wears out

    • @Xtreme23F
      @Xtreme23F  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      suit yourself, the tire is $60 the whole wheel is $250

      it comes apart very easily, you can even get some longer m4 bolts in case you are worried to help start the process, then remove the long bolts once the original ones catch.
      ive done it a few times, you need a nice wood block to protect the cables, and a good bench vise.

    At least put the nut back on the threads if you´r going to beat it like a caveman. Or in your case, go to a shop so you can learn how to do things right.

    • @Xtreme23F
      @Xtreme23F  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      no need to put the nut back because that axel is attached to the Brocken motor, so you just beat it like a caveman and trow it away . Plus I do the thing how I want, you do whatever you want.

      @@Xtreme23F ofc, you do it well. But it´s a lot more professional showing how it´s supposed to be done on TH-cam. Lots of younger kids watch this and it´s good to show how to do things right. Great video anyhow. :)

    • @Xtreme23F
      @Xtreme23F  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fredrikalfson1541 so how is suppose to open up this wheel in a professional way? can you send me a video from TH-cam please? do you have this scooter, did you have this problem?

    • @fredrikalfson1541
      @fredrikalfson1541 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Xtreme23F yes, i just bought it. So much more power than my old M365pro, I really like the WWpro a lot. No I don't have a TH-cam video, but if you place the wheel in a cheap press you can get it out gracefully. And in the case of not having that at your disposal you can always use a puller.

      Didn’t take much of a knock to get it out, I was prying the tire for 20 min before watching this. I’m sure there is more proper ways but it came right out.
      If anything put a block of wood down if you’re worried about messing the threads up.
