I was guilty of this, the reason why people think normal throw procs garantee electric is cause they have no idea there is a light attack and just hold down the throw until it fully charges. The fully charged throw is what garantee proc electricity. If you do only charged throws you can do corrosive heat on this and melt everything if there is enough enemies around.
I have every single glaive, and have them to built to their theoretical maximum, (I have spent hours doing math in discords lol) and have near god roll rivens for 3 of them all of them nuke. And you can use any with melee influence if you use a melee influence proc diriga any glaive can hit near, or actually hit damage cap. This build is interesting, but its most definitely not the fastest kill/minute you could achieve. This is slow and annoying to use (due to combo upkeep) I also wouldn't recommend the falcor over the xoris unless you have a riven for it, or need it for another specific application (such as ship sniping in Venus. The higher travel speed helps greatly… but in that case, I would rather move away from electric Glaives, since I would assume you would already have the xoris built up and use either the Glaive prime, or the Cerata for that application I also wouldn't do a combined element unless it already comes on a riven you are running. Glaives are already preety hungry for mods as is. If anyone is interested in watching a guide by someone more experienced and knowledgable about Glaives, I would recommend Havok’s video “Quick guide to thrown weapons” He dosnt consider everything or get everything right on that video, but its by far the most informative single piece of content about Glaives
I have used all glaives 4 with good rivens, my fav is a ricochet built Falcor with Melee Influence(M.I) on Mirage. Falcor has the best tracking of all Glaives and Mirages copy glaives can proc their own M.I. It all leads to a massive room clearing chain reaction other glaives can do the same but not with the same consistency as Falcor.
my issue is with glaives that can still bounce i keep geting a bug where the weapon wont come back it gets stuck, we desperately need a way to redeploy our weapons to fix that, iv had the hound master enemys steal my weapon and it fall through the floor as well so yay entire mission without weapons lol
@@mmonkeybone Dafuq, I've never seen that happen, DE really hates you I guess. Have you tried holding the melee button again? Holding the throw glaive button while it's already out is supposed to recall it.

The xoris does more damage from the get go, no build up needed. It looks cool ill definitely try it just for fun but the xoris is still the best glaive
I mean you can build falcor like xoris and go the initial combo/detonate route too. High riven disposition allows it to go crit too. Since there's a bug on falcor that punch through is disabled by volatile quick return, it's also easier to detonate falcor at the center of a group of enemies.
@@derp1489 with 12% crit chance and a miserable 1.6 crit multiplier it probably would have worse dps than this build. also after searching in the wiki the volatile rebound mod is a pain to farm
@@Rianmt795 On charged recall explosion Falcor has 16% crit 2.0x multi vs. Xoris 22% crit 2.4x. With rivens, because of the hugh dispo difference they are prettey much on equal footing in terms of crit. Falcor's based explosion damge is 1,380 electric vs Xoris 1,000 electric. In practice I find these two perform similarly damage wise. Xoris has bigger initial explosion radius and beefy explosion sound while Falcor has faster/farther travel, punch through and tracking. For the heavy attack explosion build you'd use [Volatile Quick Return], the same you would on Xoris.
@@Rianmt795 One could also argue otherwise because it can hit farther things and the explosion range is no that big of a deal because 1) melee influence 20m anyway and 2) with Xoris you have to aim ABOVE the monster pack so the actual effective range is not as big as it looks on paper. At the end of the day both glaives can one shot EDA-level and above so it largely depends on handling and whether you have a riven or not. I'm not trying to say Falcor is definitely better than Xoris, just pointing out that Xoris doens't necessarily out damage Flacor and Falcor is not bound to a 12x combo bounce playstyle that needs build up.
