Thankyou for this guide as a citrine main. I don't like builds that require a whole load of setup but I do like the advice with harmony. I have been looking for a solid melee weapon and might have just found one.
@KeesieOilcorner correction its modded elimetal mods that scale Afflictions dots. So for example corrosive will boost the toxin and electric dots from melee afflictions. With melee Affliction there is 2 ways to build. A. Build for single elimetal dot or B. Build to buff the other dots. Affliction takes into account the average of the modded base damage for each status type. Before adding them together and caluating new dots based on melee mods for status boosting. This is why moding for elimetals on melee is good. Beware heat inherits from other sources. Gas would be far better in the samtote damage because of how Affliction scales the gas by replacing the oldest procs. This does increase the damage but the damage is still limited by the proc count but highly scales the damage of other procs during the next hit.

@KeesieOilcorner I don't think you undergo what I'm saying. If you have combined elemental from separate single element mods, each individual element will apply to its appropriate stats effect when Affliction triggers meaning in some builds it just shreads when a corrosive melee scales a electric or toxic dot by also stacking corrosive. In our case, it's just toxic and electric (with heat inheritance being only from first source). I've done extensive testing and helped update the wiki page with details. I just want to make sure that mechanics are fully understood. And if you want to see a gas buil for Affliction, I have a few blender builds on my channel.
This video singlehandedly makes me want to play Citrine again. Also note that you can health tank with her in level cap with enough build investment. Let's say you reach around 800 armor which is around 75% damage reduction + 90% from her 2 + 90% from Adaptation + 75% from Arcane Double Back + 75% from Eclipse. A bombard missile in level cap deals 1.6mil damage, which gets reduced to a mere 250 after all those stacking reductions. Heavy Gunners fire 200k damage per pellet that you can easily tank. This build takes an helminth slot, an arcane, 2 archon shards (for armor) but just 1 mod slot. You now need to increase the maximum HP to take a few of those hits and have several ways to reduce damage. Health orbs will fully heal any attack you receive outside of a Bombard missile which will require more healing, which is provided by Citrine's passive. As long as you prime enemies with your 1, stay active in your mission by killing enemies (already a requisite) and jumping around for Arcane Double Back, you will survive. What's even better here is that this concept isn't taking specters in account, which can either replace 1-2 of those damage reduction sources (mainly Eclipse and Arcane Double Back IMO), or make you even harder to kill if that's even a necessity. Weapons don't give damage reduction as far as I'm aware, but some provide lifesteal or armor like Melee Fortification. It's not a good arcane since you'd have to make up for the loss of damage from the arcane, but some melees are able to kill level cap enemies without an arcane such as the Arca Titron slams. Reasonable armor from Fortification should be around 30 stacks (they decay in 10 seconds) which is 6300 armor, a 95% damage reduction by itself. This huge increase in armor can also replace one damage reduction method, maybe Eclipse so you can subsume another helminth ability. Maybe for a melee focused build with Wrathful Advance, and you also can drop the armor shards for melee shards.
@@KhristianBolano Thanks for this elaborate comment! Will have to check out the setup. I know one of the infested assault rifles gives health on headshot. Probably better off running the amalgam daikyu mod with the syam for levelcap :) 3% lifesteal on 100M+ waves will heal enough I would assume 😉🤟
@@KeesieOilcorner I think it's the Hema that gives you lifesteal right? The Basmu also gives you health back, IDK if it's enough life though. An heavy attack based melee is the way to go imo. If you can kill level cap enemies with an heavy attack without having to build Melee Crescendo you'd unlock tons of armor with Fortifications as well. Well you can always use Rakta Dark Dagger for survivability but let's not talk about that lmao
Did not know that breach surge triggers. Prismatic gem. I want personally to have null star or shuriken to work but no. They don't. I also tried specters/ companion abilities because they should work but from what I've seen they don't. I think it's the difference of the transfer host kavat cloneing bug and Necros army getting roar buff and melting enemies.
Sampotes with zephyr is bonkers and quite funny with dante (quite similar playstyle like citrine+harmony). Citrine is a crazy good warframe, i use her specter with dante sometimes if 300%+ status chance just isnt enough hehe. Wish her dr would work on overguard like ancient healer, that would make for rhino levels of stupid tankyness:)
Reduce grind my ass the amount of crystals you get is way to little for this kind of think it took me 8 hours to farm for this warframe and never again

Prismatic Gem is the coolest ability in the game. Don’t even need a gun to kill. Just ability spam and clone your sentinel.
lycath's hunt is a great subsume over her 1 and archon continuity makes sure her 3 can refresh it constantly
