I relate to joseph so much.I too was oppressed by my siblings. So much hatred jealousy. I've been punched in the face twice by them as a kid and as an adult. I was strangled/choked by my younger sister and mother. It's really intense and not fair, and I'm still trying to heal . God please save and heal my mind and body. Help me to forgive my oppressors.
Heavenly Father, be with our sister. Heal the wounds in her heart that only you can heal. Show her the way to forgive. Teach her that she is YOUR child and all that it means, that she is loved, that she is part of a larger family, that the things of her past are in the past. More than anything Lord, touch the hearts of her family. Show them the error in their ways, teach them to repent, and make clear to them the pain they've caused, and the need for forgiveness from it, in Jesus' name, Amen.............Lord bless you and keep you dear sister, may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you, may He lift His countenance upon you and give you peace.
I was oppressed not physically but emotionally. but gladly, they weren’t my blood relatives, however they were ppl my parents trusted enough. They were like family. They were so wicked in many ways but they appeared so innocent and nice. I have hated them for a long time but God has brought me far, and out of their hands. Glory to God. 🙌🏾 I never want anyone to go through what I went thru. May God help those who are also in this. It’s not easy to be mentally abused like that, or physically, especially at a young age.😢🥺
When I was a kid I couldn't understand how they didn't recognize their brother. But then I realized, well, it had been almost twenty years since they last saw him as a teenager. He was in Egyptian dress, Egyptian makeup, and most importantly held a high position. No wonder they didn''t know him.
It is definitely hard to wrap your head around in today’s society. His father had multiple concubines and quite a large tribe. If you go back in time and understand everything that went on and how they dressed themselves in Egyptian garb it’s not so far fetched that Joseph was unrecognizable to his brothers
Plus Joseph spoke to them through an interpreter so they wouldnt know he spoke Hebrew: "And they knew not that Joseph understood them; for he spake unto them by an interpreter.” Gen. 42:23
Every time I read story of Joseph, I always wept. I imagined myself being Joseph. I love his personality, how he loved his dad so much and his own brother Benjamin even his other brothers.
@@mrniceguy3750 The Messiah, that Israel was expecting was rejected by Israel. They delivered Him to the Romans because of His claims. They sold Him for 30 pieces of silver(Joseph was sold for 20). While on the cross He was condemned with two thieves (Joseph in prison interpreted the two prisoners' dreams. One was saved the other perished). On the cross, one was saved, the other lost. Israel as a nation utterly rejected Jesus and even said " let His blood be upon us & our children". After a long period of time and being married to a non Israelite wife (foreshadowing of Christ and the present gentile church), Joseph sent his wife to the palace while he revealed himself to his brethren (The rapture of the church before God can go back to dealing with Israel). He had to rise to his position of prominence before he revealed himself, and nobody could approach Pharoah except they went through Joseph. Also when Joseph went anywhere, everyone had to bow the knee. Remember that Jesus said: John 14:6 KJV [6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Also: Philippians 2:8-11 KJV [8]And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. [9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Can’t help 30 times over seeing Jesus in Joseph such a type of Jesus like no other. Seen this movie about 22 times never gets old and now the tears just roll
Genesis 45:1 Then Joseph could no longer control himself before all his attendants, and he cried out, "Have everyone leave my presence!" So there was no one with Joseph when he made himself known to his brothers. 2 And he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard him, and Pharaoh's household heard about it. 3 Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph! Is my father still living?" But his brothers were not able to answer him, because they were terrified at his presence. 4 Then Joseph said to his brothers, "Come close to me." When they had done so, he said, "I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt! 5 And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.
ommmg...;) your telling me... this part. this very part... everytime i see it... makes me cry... when joseph realvile himself to his brothers. they litterly felt soo bad. they drop there weapons.bow there heads.they didnt dare go near him. the only one that got near him was benjerming. its been 20 years ever seence the betrayel. and look how God put them all together. just like in the dream that joseph had...im telling you. everytime i see this. everytime. makes me cry...
It is such a blessing to understand that after Joseph had been thrown into that hole by his brothers that the Lord through his love blessed him with more than man could do
i know. its been 20 years he hasnt seen hes brothers. especialy bengerming. when he saw him. he ask him hes name. he said im bengerming master. and he ask him. master how is it that you could speak our tough?have you been to our land??? ommgg. it broke me. when i saw him go to another room. to hife hes tears. it brougt memories to him.
This situation has happened to me many o times. “Are you ok?” From an individual that believes i was dead. That feeling is permanent. When somebody thinks U are DEAD BUT NOT! Just. Another reinforcement and echo of Jesus sacrifice for us. And we ARE STILL HERE I AM STILL HERE. I DIDNT DIE I AM HERE JUST GLORY AND ALL PRAISE to the ALMIGHTY LORD AND GOD OF MY BREATH! Because i know i can only live once but Jesus lived TWICE!
@@soufichan1791 I don't want to argue. But have you ever heard of Jeremiah? They call him the "weeping prophet". He was in the presence of God continually also. But that didn't stop him from weeping. But his tears were not for himself. They were tears shed for his people, who had gone astray, and, worse, had no intention of turning back. Sometimes, that level of suffering is far greater than the suffering of everyday people. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. It is not a curse to be mourning.
@@soufichan1791 really ? Daniel was thrown in a lions den ; his friends in a fiery furnace ;Jeremiah was beaten, mocked, close to being put to death , had to go into hiding , kidnapped , taken to Egypt and died there , several were put to death , imprisoned , had to be hidden or they would have been killed , John the Baptiser was beheaded . So are you sure prophets of God didn't suffer ??
I have had to forgive so many people who have hurt me. I have carried so much pain for so long, it was almost like my life was characterized by pain. I don't think anyone will be able to forgive deep dramas and hurts if not for the grace of God. I literally would not be able to forgive if God did not heal and take away the pain every time I stayed in his presence. Literally impossible otherwise. Jesus Is A Healer of broken hearts. I also had to learn to stand up for myself and draw hard boundaries to guard my heart. I thank God for his wisdom❤
The story of Joseph can be sumerized in four words: Pit..Penthouse...Prison...Palace..He was put in charge at the house of Potapour (so) when his wife lied about Joseph he was placed in a prison where he was placed in a position of authority, and when he got to the palace he again was placed in charge!! How great is our God!!
I cried. I lived out the Character of Joseph, 2 times. Still haven’t got healing from one of the two times. I pray to God that I’m as strong as him, when it comes time to face them. I still can’t believe that this has really happened to me, not once but twice. Thank you Lord.
God bless Joseph for what he endured. Believe the Saving Gospel that Jesus Christ died for our sins was buried and rose again the 3rd day by which we are saved, 1 Corinthians 15 1-4.
After really racking my brain to find this movie again on You tube, I finally realized that a fire TV stick would offer me my best chance of finding it again and sure enough. I did !!! It's the best version I have ever seen and once again I am able to enjoy a decent form of relaxation while learning about some of the many blessings one can receive from God... :-)
This was such a heartfelt moment!!!! Joeseph could’ve had ALL their heads on a Pike!!!! And he would’ve been right to do so (excluding Benjamin, his kid brother) But chose to Forgive!!!!!!🙏🙏🙏
I saw this movie on the religious channel for the first time. I think it is available on youtube in Spanish in subtitles. It is a great way to learn a language because it is so well done. You just want to watch it over and over again. The casting, story and cinematography are tops. And, my favorite part is when he actually gives forgiveness. I wish more movies were made like this!
Just image how William Branham felt when his one son Billy Paul sold him out and told the world that his father died in a car wreck. The modern second coming of God's Joseph is acted out once again. The world has crucified Christ in our day.
One thing that I do find to be very amazing is that stuff like this can be applied to people's everyday lives. For seemingly no reason one day this week I started thinking about this and I felt like Joseph. Black friday just passed and I work at Walmart so things have been very stressful. Then just yesterday I was working in Housewares (a section of the store I really hate) and my manager kept telling me to do 10 different tasks every 5 minutes it seemed like. It may have been just me but I kept thinking that she doesn't like me, or else she kept wanting to keep an eye on my to make sure I was working, or maybe she was just stressed I don't know. Anyways I was getting really tired of feeling like that and I was really worried that she would be so displeased with me that she would fire me (again that just could have been me). But that evening my best friend called me and told me that she had moved to South Carolina (she had been moving around a lot lately). Ever since we've known each other she has been into a lot of drama and I've always been scared that one day we'd just call it quits on our friendship. But last night I finally didn't feel scared to speak my mind to her. Fully and truly talk about a serious issue with her. If one thing is for sure, these past stressful days, even a couple of weeks were worth it to take that fear out of me. Not solely for me, but for her.
My first time of shedding tears watching a movie. Whoever is reading this, I pray those who rejected you one day need you in the name of Jesus🙏🙏🙏, but show mercy.
I pray that maybe maybe maybe someday me and my best friend will have a reunion like this after what happened between us Tammy I miss you and love ❤️ you
Did you love Joseph when he was in the pit alone? What about the poor black people in the US who were sold into the pit of slavery by their own brothers... You people are very hypocritical.... You love fairy tales but reject actual reality... Would you love Joseph if he was a regular black man from the hood? If so, how so ??? This question is for all of the people who claim to love Joseph but hate on black men you see everyday ...
what an emotional scene from this great movie Story of Joseph! one of my favorite and for a true christian who forgives like Joseph forgives his brothers!
I love that story, JESUS is very near, TO TELL US THE SAME WORDS," IM JESUS, WHOM YOU CRUSIFIED, COME TO ME, IT WAS MY FATHERS WILL TO SAVE YOU, ANGELS""" BRING THEM UP HERE, LETS DEPART TO MY FATHERS HOUSE WHERE THERE ARE MANY MANSIONS. ALELUYAH .
You guys should watch the Muslim version of this. It is like 45 Episodes, it was made by Iran I think and it is so nice. I understand Persian, but I am not sure if there is an English version or English subtitles on any of them. Joseph was supposed to be the most beautiful prophet in Islam, and in this movie they don’t really have a good looking actor for Joseph. Joseph other biological brother Benjamin is also good looking. I never get tired of it, I just watch it all over again every Ramadan.
The Veil is lifted when someone lift The weight of hatred for his brothers This is a commandent of God an Order from angels. Nothing can destroy The Love for Others even a Great War. Those who have left needs those who have stayed Those who have stayed needs those who have left Remember that Jesus our trust and the trust of others have left The Kingdom Of God to save us and to make us his brothers and sons of God. Maybe he is the example to follow by others. As he said to Kephas : Follow me Yes I will follow you Jesus I will return Merci Jesus Je t'aime Jesus Merci M Je t'M Lune
I have a parallel story with Joseph. I was adopted by a woman who is in her clan is one of the future queen. She raised me with love, respect and was protecting me from the jealousy and hatred with in the family. I do understand what Joseph went through.

True, the tabernacles of God's second coming is the exact duplication of Joseph of old. He will disguise himself do well that his own brethren, wife, son's and daughters did not recognize him. I refer to William Branham ofcoarse.

@@luciusmalfoy7778 actually it is written figertively on purpose. If we love Godly then his meaning shines through to his sweetheart. It's a love hidden language that confounds the Theologian and the lover sees the deeper message. The Bible is written in "tongues" so to speak. This Joseph of old is only a reflection of the second coming relationship and how the world rejects God's Christ( Joseph) again. The second coming has already taken place but we have sold our brother out, me included. I didn't recognize him until just recently.
Yes this is this is one of the best parts of the Bible evoking a keen sense of poignancy. Can we imagine the trepidation the brothers must have felt for what treacheory they'd done? And he? Completely forgiving inspite of the fact that that all authority was in his hands! That is how our Heavenly Father is - ever forgiving, all HE asks is repentance!

Remember that Jesus said:
John 14:6 KJV
[6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Also:
Philippians 2:8-11 KJV
[8]And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
[9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
[10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
[11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Cus god walks with joseph alwsys
A real heart of forgiveness.
And they were all black is why they couldn't differentiate him from an Egyptian..

It is such a blessing to understand that after Joseph had been thrown into that hole by his brothers that the Lord through his love blessed him with more than man could do
One of the most dramatic episodes in the bible. Gets me tearing up whenever I read it and imagine the scene!

If that gets you teared up, salvation only being for the 12 tribes must be a bitch!
This movie is so powerful. Always stuck with me as a kid. The message is clear that good will triumph over evil in the long run
And so his dream came true, after decades of suffering, and he's hardly the happier for it. I just hope it was all worth it. Joseph was a good man.
He was happy
But his brothers were still afraid of him

It makes sense.
Prophets do not suffer brother, for they r in the presence of god continuisouly.
@@soufichan1791
I don't want to argue.
Beautiful act of forgiveness, we can all learn from this!
Those who try to break you, will witness the Glory of God upon your life
this is such a great movie. definitely worth watching. much better than the new ones.
Time for Christian's to pray 🙏 Psalm 83 loudly
Joseph’s story prefigured Christ. It’s amazing how God did this throughout scripture.
This is concept of Messiah son of Joseph.

True, the tabernacles of God's second coming is the exact duplication of Joseph of old. He will disguise himself do well that his own brethren, wife, son's and daughters did not recognize him. I refer to William Branham ofcoarse.
@@luciusmalfoy7778 Do not be intimidated by those who claim to interpret scripture. God speaks to the heart not the head. A Doctor of theology knows not God's will for they follow man's system of understanding by head knowledge rather as do the humble who hear God through revelation.

And he? I still cry when I see this drama
God's love and forgiveness are shown through Joseph
God loves and forgives HIS CHILDREN. He's merciless to anyone who would bring harm to his children.
This movie is called The Bible Stories: Joseph. And it can be found on Amazon, the website or their app. God bless.
My VERY favorite movie ever, watched it at least 30 times.
I pray for faith like Joseph exhibited.
Amen
This is an amazing movie!!! Absolutely amazing!!! You must see it!!!
Joseph's brothers were surprised just to know that he was still alive...
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I connect this to like the redirection of JESUS. Jacob thought Joseph was dead and in his heart, he came back alive!
I cant imagine the hurt Joseph felt when his brothers betrayed him😭
I can't imagine the hurt the brothers felt from the favortism Joseph was constantly shown by their father. Also having to deal with Joseph's bragging about dreams.

The difference between the two is that the brothers were not sold to slavery, were not imprisoned, were not fearing execution.
@@bunnylady6758 Well I mean, The father set this whole thing in motion. That's why its unwise to show favortism between children. You never know how the affected will react.
But this is called the envy @@snoopyco07
I liked Joseph film then any other. Well played. It's crying moment both by reading & visualise this thru film too... All he said God turned Bad into Good, they way he tested his brothers intentions but his brothers regretted & repenting especially Juda 😭😭
Apart from our Lord Jesus.. Joseph was one of the kindest and greatest person in holy Bible
They sold him , so that they would not die in hunger. God is a brilliant Director. ☮️
Gods plans are un explained god is soo great heavenly father please i hold your precious feet please make me like Joseph✝️🛐✝️
Nah, dont ask to be like Joseph, rather, ask to be like The Lord JESUS CHRIST, The One who knew no sin.
@@slaveofYAH HI there. we can't live like Almighty Jesus Christ we can't compare with our heavenly father we are like Forest Flowers bloesem in morning dry in afternoon.
@@naninani1397 Of course, but that doesnt mean you can't put forth effort to live like The Lord.
@@slaveofYAH hi We can't live like Lord Jesus. We can only fellow his instructions and teachings , no body can compare with jesus not in this world or not in holy bible.
@@naninani1397 Nonsense, for The LORD says, "be holy as I am holy." And if you know God you will live a holy life, sure we fall short, but His grace is sufficient. We are to deny self, pick up our cross daily, and follow Him.
No matter what people do, your destiny must stand.
i cried.
Never seen that depicted before. Some of the brothers had to be thinking "Uh-oh!"
When did I reveal myself to my family. Never mind I told you raise me in a different country with my babies and send people to help me. And I can live happily in peace. No more pain. No more past people. You will let me make peace with my family in time. I forgive them.
I have seen this movie so many times ❤❤ best movie ever!
