You are mistaken she was not his only daughter,
“And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David.”
      ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬ ‭
“And David took more wives at Jerusalem: and David begat more sons and daughters.”
      ‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭ 14:3
The reason why she specifically is mentioned is because of what happened to her. Remember this is a historical account of what happened.
Now I’m not judging either king David nor the one who made this video concerning him and one of his daughters and a couple of his sons. But I just want everyone to view it accurately.
Whether he favoured his daughter or his son doesn’t matter now because all have been dead for thousands of years. Their books are closed, THE END for them has happened.
Today we can only make sure we do what is right because it is right. And not what is right according to man but what is right according to YEHOSHUA HAMASHIACH, the ONLY true and living GOD.
We also have to make sure that we leave this world right so that we can go to heaven:
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yehoshua HaMaShiach for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
      ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭38‬‬

The Bible says train up a child in the way he should go and in the end he will not depart from it I know it would have probably broken daids heart to do Justice to amnom but he should have done it anyway to not only protect his daughter but also to explain to amnom it was not acceptable what he did if he did justly it may have prevented farther retribution and spared his son absolams hatered and revenge

Lie much against GOD'S anointed King David? The scripture doesn't record things being prevalent at the time of King David's family. as you claim. You show her as a little girl about 10 years old and her another as an older adult.. Look for GOD to deal with you accordingly.

People who haven't experienced it don't realize the abuser gets a slap on the wrist if we're lucky most of the time they don't get anything but we get a life sentence with it. I pray for all who are wrestling with the pain being abused as I was, my prayers are with you. God has removed my pain, the pain that cut my soul and left me enslaved to the man who did this to me. God only asked me to forgive that man so I could be free from the anger and hate I felt. I pray you will forgive the person who did this to you as well, so you will be free. It’s the only way, as you alone are locked in this prison and you alone have the key to open the door. When you forgive what has happened and the person who did it, you open a door for God to work miracles in you life, and to save the person who injured you. In Jeshua’s name

Wow, this story is so intense and really makes you think about the impact of silence. David had all the wisdom in the world when it came to ruling Israel, but when it came to his own family, his lack of action made everything worse. Tamar's pain wasn’t just about what happened, but also the silence that followed. It’s a reminder for all of us-don’t stay quiet when something’s wrong, especially when it comes to protecting our loved ones. We need to speak up, take action, and make sure we’re there for each other. 🙏

This Bible story always broke my heart 💔 for Tamar. Absalom as her big brother became her protector and his fury at the lack of justice from David festered into violent vengeance ☠️ to Amnon, yet the injustice continues to tear David’s family apart as Absalom plots to rebel and take over the throne and is killed. 😢 King David had many laurels in his reign but being father of the year definitely was not one of them.

    • @evangelistlisamarieperez5636

You should never allow it to break your heart but bring joy to you The reason David is called the man after God's own heart is because this story lets you see how he repented his sin and never went back to it that is what made him become a man after God's own heart so even though the story is sad it was prophesied as God said and that's the glory in it David came out to be one of the greatest kings ever to have lived and his son Solomon was just as great so there are plenty blessings from these prophecies that God gave in the beginning anyway.
Let us give praise to God and thank him that a man came out of this that he could say was after God's own heart. ❤
And that is the blessing that came out of this.

David, claimed by God, being a man after God's own heart, tells how humble, merciful and being a father he was, who still loved his rebellious son despite the tragedy. David knew that all that happened to his family were the consequences of his sins. This broke his heart for sure that his children suffered and died because of his sins.

This was an incredibly accurate analysis of the scriptures and an important transition between how the history recorded in the bible pertains to our lives today. Two years ago I decided to read the bible Genesis to Revelations as it is written instead of the( important parts) suggested in study guides and sunday school. I finished in 11 months but then a few months later I decided to do it again and I do learn something new every day. I did remember the story of Tamara, Abasalom, David and Bathsheba. I have noticed in the comments that several of you must have read scriptures also because you caught many of the same MINOR discrepancies as I did. I was distracted by these in the first half of the video but began to realize they were not as important as the main message here. The only thing I would like to add is that David was a sheppard, not the son of a king. He grew to be the right man to become king at the right time for both Israel and for every christian. Was he perfect, not by a long shot. He was human and the scriptures demonstrate he made several mistakes and tried many times to correct those mistakes with prayer and the proper behavior. I am nearly certain that he did feel he was unworthy to correct his children and felt pain when they strayed from the law of god just as the narrator implied. Perhaps when confronted by his failures within his family he turned to what he did best which was leading and unifying the tribes of Israel. This of course left his children without guidance but did benefit the people of Israel. Absalom, Amnon and the other members of Davids family all had free will and their sins were their own and not Davids. The bottom line is all these mistakes and attempts at correcting their behavior is how we got Solomon. He was also a human and had his flaws as evidenced in the scriptures. However the experiences he lived through and endured, helped him make the good decisions he has been credited with and we still speak of his legacy today when we say " The wisdom of Solomon".

David paid for this when Absalom took revenge for his sister, and then later revolted against David, causing him the worst anxiety and tragedy in his life. It could have been dealt with by David punishing Amnon, condemning his act, and removing his honor to inherit the throne. David's allowing the act to stand as some sort of anomaly within his household was an enormous blunder, and may have had generational consequences.

To share something that came to me after the movie; Jacob was a descendant of David. Jacob's only daughter was Raped. The 12 sons did something about it in this story. A generational curse haned down the genealogy line to David's also only daughter. Sad to say this happened to me and just as the narrator was explaining problems yes absolutely there is. I was kept silent and a family disgrace. To give a testimony on this when my children was born I stopped this generational curse in my family line. Yes it was destroyed in prayer.

@@xSundayMourningx... I agree. Seems like bizarre behaviour when viewed through the lens of our 21st Century sensibilities. However, I find there are a few reasons why royal polygamy was practiced & tolerated by God, the most obvious one being that David, Solomon & so many others in the scriptures were used as object lessons of failure & human error in a fallen world, especially in regards to transgressing the original design of Adam & Eve. He allowed this in order to teach us human weakness & the consequence of error in judgement, false human ideologies, just as the narrator this video explained (great job by the way). Personally, I'm surprised that David did not seek the Lord after the rape of Tamar, as he had done in previous times of personal error. Maybe he did, idk. I haven't yet found it in any extrabiblicals or targums to date.
Another two reasons why I think polygamy was tolerated as a practice, during a time when kingdoms were established through terrestrial wars: (1) The marrying of daughters of conquered kings to new leadership always helped strengthen their position & favour, and (2) something not so well known... during the times before Messiah Yeshua, the culture of 'women's desire' to have children 'or die' was also somehow wrapped up in the desire to give birth to the Messiah, in addition to their perceived lowered societal status. The ancient extrabiblical scrolls strongly support the idea that, yes, the knowledge & teaching of a coming 'Messiah' to redeem all of mankind was in fact a very common understanding among the children of Abraham. It's a fascinating time to study all these things :)

This is the 2nd female named Tamar involved in a forbidden sexual act w/in families. In Genesis 38, Judah had sex w/ his daughter-in-law but supposedly didn't know it. Lot's daughters also got pregnant after getting their own father drunk. Leviticus addressed numerous forbidden sexual practices to try to correct this problem. Solomon, although touted to his wisdom, fell prey to pagan influences that undermined him in the end. This is the reason God said to wipe out the Canaanites so the Israelites wouldn't start following their practices. The captivity in Babylon could be considered punishment for this.

I also wonder, as when David sinned by taking Bathsheba, Nathan the prophet was sent to him to tell him that God would bring a sword against his household, and when David saw all this happen, perhaps he froze in the fear of God’s judgement and realizing that it was indeed a sword against his household. Still not good that he remained silent and didn’t act, and also against his character, unless it was a fear that this was God’s hand against him, so what could he do?
I do hate that we don’t see him show anything protective toward his daughter. But I also wonder, as she and her brother were born from Davids wife whose father was a king of an enemy nation, he thought less of them? Not sure, but wonder. And the son that r ped his daughter, was possibly of Saul’s concubine, and he loved Saul, like a father, so maybe there was a weird favoritism there?
But honestly, I really lean toward the fact that it was said through the prophet, that God would bring His judgement against his household, that David realized that is what was happening and what could he do against God?

BUT IN THE DAYS OF THE VOICE OF THE 7TH ANGEL, WHEN HE SHALL BEGIN TO SOUND, the mystery of God should be finished as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
And when they have finished their testimony the beast that ascended out of the bottomless pit shall shall make war against them and overcome them and kill them. And their was war in heaven and Michael and his Angels fought against the dragon and the dragon faught against his Angels. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcomethem. And power was given to over all kindreds tounges and nations. SAYING WITH A LOUD VOICE, FEAR GOD AND GIVE GLORY TO HIM, FOR THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGMENT HAS COME: WORSHIP HIM THAT MADE HEAVEN, AND EARTH, AND THE SEA, AND THE FOUNTAINS OF THE WATERS. And one of the 4 beast gave unto the 7 Angels 7 golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. And I hear another out of the alter say, even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. And the angel said unto me, where for did thou marvel I will tell thee the mystery of the women, and the beast that carrieth her with the 7 heads and ten horns. How much she has glorified herself and lived deliciously so much torment and sorrow give her for she saith I sit a queen and am no widow and shall see no sorrow. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the Marriage of the Lamb has come and his wife has made herself ready. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison. He that overcometh shall inherent all things; and I will be his God and he shall be my son. Please, someone tell me a REAL reason why David was called righteous? I read for years and years and NOBODY has convinced me David is righteous. Not yet. --- Unless the Bible has a different definition of what righteousness and justice means, then I have NO CLUE. I don't want to speak badly about him so I am asking - really asking for help to see David's righteousness. David's heart doesn't match his actions/deeds. Thanks.

      @paulaludengow3516 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@sunnyb390 Dear Sunny, I understand your point of view. However, it was the Lord God who judged David to replace the King Saul, and for many years, he kept the peace and allowed David to rule as he should have. I don't think that problems began till (man giving unto human ways), when Bathsheba presented herself at King Davids attention that corruption crept in and tempted him beyond what he resisted. David made probably his Biggest mistake and all that we read about, ensued, (which was a lot and at significant cost to David.) If it's any consolation, he Did eventually repent and the Lord granted him Strength to triumph over his enemies. You know that King David was the first (and to my knowledge) the Only King to have ever Unified the separate tribes of Isreal at that time!

      @sunnyb390
I think there may be a conception problem in your description. You asked, "Why do they call David righteous?" David is not described as righteous.
      1 Samuel 24:17
[King Saul] said to David, “You are more righteous than I, for you have done what is good to me though I have done what is evil to you.
      1 Samuel 26:23
[David says to King Saul] The Lord will repay every man for his righteousness and his loyalty. I wasn’t willing to lift my hand against the Lord’s anointed, even though the Lord handed you over to me today.
David's restraint in not killing Saul despite he had opportunity twice is spoken of as righteous. He did the right thing in accordance to the wishes of God. In this instance we see righteous acts by David, but this does not mean that David was cloaked in righteousness as a nature. Only Jesus was righteous. This is the reason we all need to submit to Jesus's transformation because He is the only One who can change us and we receive eternal life because He gives us His righteousness.
So David did good things, but that did not make him a good man because he also did bad things. Note that David is described as a man who had a heart after God (1 Samuel 13:14) and still he was flawed like all of us.

Unfortunately, but this quote doesn't back up your point, not at all in my understanding...
To me, it's just a generalized explanation for a typical dress code of a daughter (any and every daughter who's still a virgin) of a king (any and every king ruling at that time or/and lands). It's not saying 'king's David daughter(s)'. It's rather giving you an insight that what she was wearing (king's David daughter) was a traditional outfit for a virgin daughter(s) of a royal family in the timeframe when this specific tragedy took place. Generalisation. She actually could be the only daughter, according to the scripture fragment given.

Also, can you imagine just how many children Jacob had? Only 1 daughter is mentioned b/c of the gentile tribe, but when he met Esau for the second time, Esau asked about meaning of all of the "hoards," LOL There was a very good reason why his wives always rejoiced and celebrated when they had a son. Probably many daughters in between. Typically in ancient lineages, daughters were not mentioned.

The only way you would be shocked by this story is if you did not read the whole Bible story about David's sin, God clearly prophesied that He would raise up evil in David's house and against itself.
the King James Version of the Bible, God tells David that his house would be against itself because of his adultery with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband, Uriah, in 2 Samuel 12:10-11, 14:
2 Samuel 12:10: "The sword shall never depart from your house"
2 Samuel 12:11: "I will raise up evil against you from your own household"
2 Samuel 12:14: "The child also that is born to you shall surely die"
The story of David and Bathsheba is told in 2 Samuel 11-12:
David committed adultery with Bathsheba and arranged for her husband, Uriah, to be killed in battle
The prophet Nathan confronted David about his sins
    David repented of his sins
    Bathsheba gave birth to Solomon.
We as True children of God should do our best not to blur or misconscrew the word of God to those that are working hard to seek it.
This is not something David intended It is just something that was prophesied by God so there was nothing he was going to be able to do.
Is God teaches let it be written and let it be done. 🙏💕🙏

The tragic events within King David's family were direct consequences of his sins-adultery with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband, Uriah. Though David remained silent, it did not signify indifference. He was deeply heartbroken but did not plead with God to halt the consequences. Instead, he humbled himself before the Lord in repentance and submission.

Do the people who make the AI videos ever watch them before release to find and correct the mistakes in the written dialog? This is why I hate watching them. That and the redundant nature of them. Every once in a while I get lured in by the subject.

I understand her pain and shame, I was raped by my father, brother and uncle. They took turns. I was never the same. Told my mother what happened, her reply ,I have 7 other children to care for. What do you want me to do about it. She stayed silent. Even after I told authorities. She stood up for my father. They believed my father and mother. Not me. Nothing was ever done.

Disgusting behavior of those men AND the mother who was complicit by her inaction. May God yet bring you justice and may His pure love heal your heart and mind.

Celebrate and uplift women. Part of the problem, I believe, is that women were not very highly regarded in those days.

TAMAR WAS LIVING THINKING THAT MEN IS HER PROTECTION. THIS IS TO SHOW THE DAUGHTERS OF ZION, NEVER PUT OUR TRUST IN MAN OF FLESH AND BLOOD, NOT EVEN IN DIVINE BEINGS, WE THE DAUGHTERS OF ZION, NEED TO HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ALMIGHTY ETERNAL CREATOR..NO MATTER WHAT POSITION OUR PARENTS MAY HOLD IN LIFE, NEVER DEPEND ON ANYONE, BUT GOD..

There is more than that, no one can know everything. Everyone can be wrong, that's a lesson. If you know the deep truth, you won't dare to criticize anyone. Because each person has something that doesn't know. Hope you understand. When I know all the confessions, everyone has tears and torture as well. I'm not protected in any way. But I don't want to sin. But everything will be better because that's God's will. And please don't criticize me. This is something I know and want everyone to understand. Good luck.

Church or temple is not the only place where the devil strives to tempt people. At times he operates in the very halls of government itself.

It wasn’t Absalom that lusted for her, it was Amnon. Absalom was the one that tried to avenge her because of king’s David silence and failure as a father to punish Amnon for violating his Tamar.

The worst injustice is that Tamar remains desolate in her brothers house and then not one more word is written about the devastation to her life. Now that she is no longer "Clean' she can never marry she will be alone and grow old with no purpose. Even in this video it is all about the bigger picture of the brothers the men. no jewish laws were changed to make her worthy again. she is now unworthy to be anything but desolate. It is a real threat to this day and now when a girl is sexually violated by someone in the family silence is still the way. If a girl tells then she is usually returned to the family who are all angry that their peace and happiness are interrupted and she becomes the trauma based scapegoat. everyone gets mad at her.

David’s difficulties are similarly reflected in the Book of Job. Where so many miss the most important information about Job. Job thought his children were sinning. This is a huge deal as Jobs blessings, like David’s, were from Gods protection. Instead of properly counseling his children, even punishing them, he prepared a sin offering. To have the children’s sin forgiven. But they continue to sin for lack of counseling. So they die. In fact, Job’s entire kingdom is decimated by God. And for a brief instant, Job blames God. Once it is clear Job understands his error, and justifies Gods actions to his three friends, in that God gave Satan permission to act on Job, after that, Job is made whole. His kingdom restored.

Maybe David didn't want the shame of all Israel knowing what his son did to his daughter. Maybe that is why he was silent. It doesn't make it right, but it's relatable to our human nature tbh.
