    Underrated keep going man. This is more of a type of video someone would have to look up to find rather than get recommended and watch.

      yes as the person who go a 70$ fan that broke and only had 2 5v fans in it only was good since it had filters on it and that should be the issue tho if u have less or moister in the air maybe it would help

  • @JamesSullivan-ru4op

    How well either cooling device works or not, depends on where the air intake is versus the position of the cooling fans in the cooling pad. Of course fan size, speed, cfm and static pressure are also important. Still position is most important.

    Thank you for the video. I've liked other things from Havit. I have a low profile mechanical keyboard from them that I've used for years now. Looks like I'll probably get their cooling pad now too.

    Finally someone does video like this. One thing I figured out for my MacBook Air m1 is that the material. If it's aluminum touch the Mac aluminum with some fans laptop is basically cool to the touch. That's the deal breaker for me. I ordered the Keibn one with three fans and aluminum material for maximum dissipation

    I have two "Targus". Ran both 24/7 for years. One just quit. I'll order another. Design is permanently angled fixed position, and the best part is the full bottom surface contact area. No way will it slide around. Very important. There is one downside. They are not quiet.

    • @mattscomputerservices
      @mattscomputerservices  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good point! It’s really just something extra that they are all trying to use as an added value proposition. This doesn’t mean it’s for everyone but if you compare two coolers and prices are the same the extra feature will often draw the customer to it. Hope that makes sense of why these extras get added.

    • @thefoxmoonlight
      @thefoxmoonlight ปีที่แล้ว

    And the real best one is the iets gt lmao. It's 60-80 dollars but actually blows air and cools. I can have my laptops fans off and it will cool it from 80c+ to 50-60c depending on the game.
    It keeps me under 29c idle.
