To everyone who complains about the plastic being cheap and "easily breakable", brother, your laptop wont work if you drop it too, doesnt mean its cheap plastic does it? If you treat everything right, itll definitely last you more than it would if you dont properly treat it lmao. Makes no sense to say its bad quality if youre going to be dropping it every chance you get

Right? Like, you place your laptop on a table, or in a secure, somewhat padded bag if traveling with it. A bath tissue is easily breakable but as long as you're not tossing it around and mangling it, it's completely fine. My $5 phone case is perfect since I'm not going around throwing and dropping that shit everywhere, where people spending $50+ on something that works if dropped from an airplane smh.

    FIANLLY BOUGHT THE LLANO V12!
It was a beast of cooling my Dell Latitude E5420 that has a degraded Motherboard Fan Socket so no amount of repair could fix it.
When I power it on without the Llano V12, after 10 seconds the laptop gets toasty and immediately shuts down and I have to wait for 1 hour to be able to use it again.
With the Llano V12, not only does it stayed bellow 100°C, it also allows me to use my laptop for hours without overheating the internal components and my relatively cool ego!
    Nice work!

After this video, I bought the V12 version for my Gigabyte X17 XES and... (we're building suspense here) Man, it works. Of course, if you buy a gaming laptop with an i9 processor on board, you can also use it as a hair dryer (Lupe could use it for his debatably beautiful blonde hair), but with this nice pece of engineering the temperatures are really lower. Sadly there is no distribution in Poland, and switching off RGB is a bit anoying as you have to do it every time you switch on the cooling pad, but in the end in my opinion this is first device of that kind that realy works.

This is the perfect solution to the laptop thermal problems. I am studying mechanical engineering and my 2018 dell g7 is definitely twards the end of it's ropes thermaly that i started planning on 3d printing this exact solution an pairing it with a comically overpowered fan. "Turbo charging" it so to say. A lot of these laptops have more to give but they simply can't dump the heat fast enough due to their form factor. This is a really good design that solves that problem and im glad to see a company behave this way with their marketing standing behind their products.

I think I can probably drop it a few more degrees simply by giving it more cooling area and thermal mass. It's quite the entertaining project.

If the computer is from 2018, it's almost certainly overdue for a repaste; while a comically-sized fan will help some, it's only gonna go so far if the thermal energy isn't getting transferred from the die to the heatsink.

A radical redesign of the "laptop" form factor is what the industry needs.
Sure, bulking the physical size (internally and externally) HELPS, but not by enough. Desktops stay so much more reliable because they have the interchangeability of parts and better solutions for thermals, power, and I/O.
The ROG Mothership is a great example of how portable PCs capable of mobile gaming can have a great and very functional design simultaneously.

I think for my needs, as I'm not gaming on it even with the memory foam not optimised for the fan intake of the laptop it is more than enough for my workload purposes. on idle at 300rpm only I notice a 2-3 degrees C drop in temps which is what I predominately use the cooler on as when I'm working I like to be able to concentrate without hearing as much of the buzzing from fans and such.
Because the framework 16 doesn't yet have a way to manually turn on/off the stock in built fans, or set a fan curve, being able to manually turn on the lano V13 to pump some airflow through the laptop is better than nothing and I can feel it if I put a tissue or my finger over the FW16 exhaust.

You can bump it up to 600 RPM. 700 RPM may be a touch louder, but I know for sure anything faster than this is already on the loud side. 2,800 RPM is about as loud as a vacuum cleaner operating at half of its power. 😂

I love that the company said to be transparent that they were sponsoring you, they didn't give you a script, and told you to be honest! I have a ton of respect for that. As someone who bought the IETS GT600, I can vouch for these types of coolers. Although if you are buying the FlyDigi BS1, please do be aware that the vents are oddly designed and can be (or will be) the opposite of actually cooling anything properly.
The Llano in general is cheaper, by around BND$40, compared to BND$120 for my IETS. Although that BND$80 in itself is a worth in its own price for any gamer, tuner, or just the average user you might know whose laptop is as hot as your local habachi grill or that they're made to replace the Sun... or their room is a sauna because of it.
I'm glad to see more coolers like this, truly the best laptop coolers ever made. 👍
(Why I bought the GT600? It had 14inch support foam as Llano had not released the V10 at the time, and I wanted one cooler to be universal.)
Also to add, the plastic is good plastic, not like those that you get on like a $5-$15 laptop cooler. Definitely as strong as your mom's Tupperware.

I bought one of these coolers in April and I can confirm that they work great! Playing games on my ROG laptop was decent but became great after I started using one of these pads. I was able to push the settings a lot higher with the pad on a fairly high fan speed. But when you push the fan speed even harder, you can push the graphics a little higher too. If you can get one, get one.

Gaming laptops have always had issues with heat, having a cooler is honestly a must these days and sadly most are cheap crap that doesn't do much, some may even damage your machine thanks to the fans blowing the wrong way (I've seen it, dont ask htf they sold it that way) this at least seems to have some actual thought into its design, the added foam seel seems like an interesting addition, and those extra adjustments on the feet look good for the taller user like myself lol, a big issue I have with laptops other than the lack of upgrading options, is the beck pain I get from them, so even a couple of extra inches is a bonus for me.
Thanks for the review, I like channels who seem to do honest opinions, not just gimmicky bs.

As someone whom purchased the Llano Cooler msyself before this Video came out before summer hit here in Colorado, I recommend this thing 100% for anyone with a gaming laptop. I overclock my stuff for the most bang for buck and having cooling is essential. I got the cooler and Usually have it around 1500 to 2000 RPM since my house is an oven even with the ACs going. And the temps stay around 50 under Load and CPU depending on which game can boost to 4.2Ghz with its temps being 85-90 which before the CPU would spike to 95 degrees before climbing to 100. So I would recommend this Cooler to anyone whom is DOubtful about the product as 100 dollars is worthwhile for an investment going for 3k. And for the Giggles I usually if I am rendering or Mining when I am not using my Laptop. I max out the fan speed on the Llano cooler and my temps wont go over 60. So all in all 100% recommend to anyone who needs or is looking into a Laptop Cooler.

It's a coincidence how after I realised my laptop was getting overheated I found this product online, but sadly I was too broke and decided to use a plastic bag with ice instead.
It worked well for a couple of days until today when water leaked through and killed my HDD 😭
If it won't work after drying in 2 days my mom will buy an SSD to replace it and some thermal paste.
I looked through your channel to educate myself a bit more and found this video, I thought "Ohhhh that's a coincidence, I discovered this a few days ago" but then got reminded of the price. So when I saw you're doing a giveaway I thought, why not give it a shot and comment (I'm usually a silent viewer, I mostly comment on shorts).

I think personally that, if you don't like a noisy cooling pad, bro... Just don't get a laptop then. I use a laptop and have to cool it during 3D rendering and wind tunnel simulations, and i have to use a hand made fan blasting air through the vents to prevent over heating. In my opinion noise is just a small sacrifice for both performance and portability. Awesome video, i really love honest companies like this one that does not force you to follow any scripts and rather see a real video to even learn from customers and content creator's experiences. Keep it up!

I actually made a diy version of this cooler using cardboard, foam and a small fan. It gave me about a minus 3 degree difference compared to the stock laptop fans and performance wise it still throttled a little bit but stabilized after a minute or so. I did it to test if this type of cooler will work on my laptop because there are a lot of coolers that advertise themselves as having -15C difference which is a straight up lie, and this one actually works.
ps. my diy one was really scuffed but still gave me -3C difference, I'm sure the official one will work great.

Have to agree with this review, the cooling pad is fantastic. I have been gaming on laptops for almost 20 years, and I have been using cooling pads in some form or another for most of those. Up until more recently cooling pads main benefit was just elevating the laptops, the fans were pointless and didn't really do much. With the Llano I can pump 200w through my 14900hx and have it stay off of 100c, which it won't do even with LM and full fan speed on just the laptop. Yes, the cooling pad gets loud if you max it, but you can just as easily leave it at a lower setting and it's pretty bearable. It's not cheap, but it's the only cooling pad that I can fully say is probably worth it as it ACTUALLY does something other then just raise the back up.
